Chapter 122 - 122 4 Sharoman Sacrifice VIP 2_3

122: Chapter 4 Sharoman Sacrifice (VIP Chapter 2)_3 122: Chapter 4 Sharoman Sacrifice (VIP Chapter 2)_3 Gude’s bulky frame and enraged eyes made even the werewolf officer’s mount retreat half a step.

“General Pan, don’t do this,” Ning Yu quickly stood up and said.

It’s very rude to treat a Sharoman Shaman like this, especially for the Wolf tribe, who values honor even more than life.

Such actions could easily provoke conflict.

Among the Beamons, it’s quite common to start fighting due to disagreements in private, and there’s no explicit legal restriction against it.

“I’m really sorry,” the little fox also stood up.

Liu Zhenhan didn’t move, playing with the wolf fang club in his hand.

The pandas behind him pulled out their shiny spears and slowly gathered around.

Twenty panda warriors standing together were terrifying, their stronger bodies compared to the Pier Clan’s bear people gave them an intimidating aura of aggression.

The wolf cavalry of this small unit sensed the abnormality.

Despite a flash of fear in their eyes, they didn’t hesitate at all, pressing their strong hands on the hilt of their swords as they commanded their mounts to slowly surround them.

The wolf cavalry knew, perhaps just a black-eyed bear person, could alone deal with all of them, but they didn’t back down.

In the standoff between two armies, it’s all about momentum.

The eyes of the Panta warriors were like that of raging bears scanning bare beehives.

The mastiff people also joined in, growling lowly in their throats with sharp looks.

What kind of Beamons were these that dared to confront even the regular army?

Cold sweats trickled down the back of Sharoman Shaman Robert Baggio.

Even a fool would know the outcome of a fight between twenty wolf cavalry and forty exceptionally skilled followers of war shamans.

“What are you trying to do?” The werewolf stared at Gude.

“Don’t block my way,” Liu Zhenhan walked over.

Although he didn’t swear to honor his promise of freedom to the mastiff people, Liu Zhenhan had to fulfill it.

Robert, the werewolf, saw something in his eyes.

This Piegel Shaman seemed to be looking for a place to hide a body after killing someone.

Helen quickly went over, tugging on Liu Zhenhan’s arm constantly.

The “Ceremonial Code” tucked under her arm dispelled the last doubt in the heart of the Wolf officer.

Such a book can’t be faked by anyone.

“You misunderstood me,” Robert quickly explained, “I have no right to pry into the whereabouts of the two shamans.”

“What are you blocking me for, then?” When Liu Zhenhan heard these words, his tense face relaxed a bit.

“Here’s the thing, half a day ago, we received a distress signal from a Hobbit halfling village.

An alien magical beast, the ‘star-tailed turtle’, invaded their village.

Halflings are friends of our Wolf Tribe, and we don’t have much of an army stationed in our outpost, so we had to send this small unit to handle this dilemma.

The star-tailed turtle is a rare magical beast with a body full of huge bone armor, and we are powerless against it.

So, we hope to get some help from both of you, great shamans!” Robert hurriedly explained, glancing weakly at the towering Gude before buttering him up a bit: “It’s clear to see that the followers of the two great shamans are brave warriors!”

Actually, the courageous wolves would rather die than ask for help from others.

Robert had no choice but to explain this way, not giving this bandit-like shaman a reason would make him feel dubious.

Not that he was scared of this fellow, there was just no point in starting a fight over a non-existent issue.

Robert comforted himself in his heart.

“Star-tailed turtle?” Helen and Ning Yu both cried out in surprise at the same time.

“Another model?” Liu Zhenhan was overjoyed at first when he heard it was a magical beast, but when he heard it was another turtle, he couldn’t help but relive his old trauma.

“What’s the matter?

Is it very powerful?” Little Ai looked at Helen and Ning Yu, puzzled

“More than powerful!” Helen said, “It’s a top-level magical beast that’s hard to deal with, its armor is extremely hard, physical attacks are basically ineffectual!”

“And it even has a wolf fang club-like huge tail that swings with a thousand pounds of force!

It can also use qi magic!” Ning Yu was apparently also familiar with this magical beast.

“Oh?

Is its magic better than mine?” Avril, seemingly in a huff, conjured a spell and flicked a magic water arrow towards the Newton Giant Bird soaring in the sky.

Nevertheless, it missed the mark.

Avril’s face turned slightly red as she slowly recited a lengthy string of complex magic notes, crushing the final shell-made Magic Scroll by her side.

Though Avril never admitted it, her water element magic skill was basically a mess — but she didn’t let anyone else say so.

Since coming ashore, calling water elements was nowhere near as easy as it was in the sea.

Now, to cast a larger spell, she must create a magic scroll.

Unlike human mages, she could only use shells to prepare Magic Scrolls instead of parchment.

This shell was her last item to make a Magic Scroll.

Originally, she had two, but Liu Zhenhan brutally ruined one.

The Mermaid from the Sea Clan is always the Mermaid from the Sea Clan.

When the shell-made Magic Scroll was crushed, a magnificent light blue glow flashed.

A ‘poof’ sound was heard, and a dense row of magic water arrows shot into the sky.

Although its aim was poor, the quantity compensated for it.

Half of the arrows missed, and the rest hit the belly of the Newton Giant Bird.

The bird shrieked, spilling a string of foul-smelling green blood, and wobbled towards the distant mountain range.

After a long while, the sound of a heavy object crashing through tree crowns and landing on the ground was heard.

“A mage?” Not only did the Mastiff Man Robert feel horrified, but also the Wolf Cavalry — who, despite being surrounded by pandas and mastiff people, maintained a poker face — were taken aback.

A mage — the torrents of flood, the hell of molten lava, the lightning from the sky!

The tales passed down from Beamon elders jumped out of the Wolf people’s memories.

“She is my private Magic consultant.” Liu Zhenhan cleared his throat and pretended to speak nonchalantly.

However, he would have loved nothing more than to drag Avril into his arms and give her a few hearty kisses.

She had really saved his face!

The eyes of the Wolf Riders changed.

A Magic consultant!

Even among human nobles, few could boast of having private Magic consultants.

Had a fight broken out just now, even an entire company of wolf riders would be doomed in the presence of just one mage.

“Little Ai, your magic skills might be on par with those of the Star-tailed turtle, if not lesser.” Ning Yu pondered for a moment and decided to tell the truth, even though it might hurt the Mermaid Princess’s self-esteem.

“The Star-tailed turtle’s most formidable spell is the ‘Intoxicating Cloud’ attack magic.

No matter how powerful the magical beast, it will fall into a deep sleep if it’s hit by this enchantment.

Although it is non-lethal, it is a real nuisance.” Helen added.

“That creature sounds formidable!” Liu Zhenhan remembered how he used to capture field hands on the battlefield by using chloroform.

He would wet a towel, sneak up from behind, press it on the enemy’s nose, and they’d pass out within three seconds.

“So, we need the assistance of two esteemed shamans!” When Robert saw Helen and Ning Yu were complementing each other, he realized enlisting their help was indeed the right move.

“Eliminating evil creatures is the responsibility of every shaman!” Helen readily accepted their invitation: “Besides, we intended to hunt magical beasts in the South Cross Star Forest for their crystal nucleus anyway.”

“Your bravery is as dazzling as your beauty!” Bandit Robert said sincerely.

“Richard….” Helen snuggled Liu Zhenhan’s arm, looked up at him with hopeful eyes.

“General Pan, what do you think?” Liu Zhenhan turned his gaze to Gude, who looked aloof and was acting cool.

“I don’t mind.

It’s been a while since I last had turtle soup.” Gude said with an indifferent smile.

Though not openly, Gude took pride in being called a “handsome guy from the Panta Clan,” even though the dark circles under his eyes tainted his baseless self-appreciation.

“Then what are we waiting for…

whynot go for it…” Liu Zhenhan twirled the blood jade ring in his hand and laughed heartily.
