Chapter 1192 - 322: Sinister Plan

Chapter 1192: Chapter 322: Sinister Plan

The Divine Archer from "Wind of Beiga" was already prepared. With a swift backhand movement, he drew five Immortal Thorns with lightning speed. Whoosh, whoosh, they flew consecutively, meeting his opponent’s arrows with pinpoint accuracy!

The Hauser Archer, adorned with a golden harp badge on his chest, had no fear of direct archery battles. Although the opponent’s arrows were fast, the Divine Archer’s specialty was to counter destroy the incoming arrows and then quickly overcome the attacker with hand speed!

The Divine Archers had strong confidence in themselves; they have been practicing from a young age, and the bow and arrow were their life! With the retreat of the Deer Tribe’s musk deer people, it was the shoulders of the Hausers that propped up the skyscape of Beamon’s long-range firepower!

This contest shocked all battle-hardened archers!

The exotic short arrows of the Desert Elves, flying through the air, took on a bizarre path, curving into an uncanny "8" shaped trajectory, deftly evading the straight thrust of the Immortal Thorns and aiming for the Divine Archer’s face. Despite the chaos, the Divine Archer, an expert from Wind of Beiga, remained composed and quickly followed up with five more arrows, knocking down the five elfish short arrows swiftly.

Unfortunately, the second volley of the Desert Elves’ archer’s short arrows came towards him again!

A sweep of the strings and five arrows instantly attached to the bow! Even the Hauser Divine Archer, naturally born with six fingers, was slightly inferior in speed of release to this! And let’s not mention the bizarre flight path of these short arrows!

Such cunning and tricky archery!

"Ah..."

A lingering scream suddenly shattered the tranquility over the ancient city ruins; five red and black short arrows, following an extremely terrifying and eerie flight pattern, hit the Hauser tribe’s Divine Archer from all directions in the throat and neck.

The fallen Centaur Archer writhed in agony, clutching his throat and convulsing all over. In less than three breaths of time, he curled up into a hedgehog-like ball and lay still.

"Obischillaci!" Liu, shocked, bellowed at the sight of the Hauser Archer’s corpse.

It was clear that the Centaur Divine Archer hadn’t died from an arrow wound, but from the arrow’s poison!

Such distinct symptoms of death were unparalleled!

Head and knees drawn close together, resembling a shuttle, apart from the now-extinct Panibi tribe’s Bee Witch Doctors, who else could refine such a unique and potent venom—"Mechanism Manipulation"?

"It’s not an arrow!" Ronaldo, the team captain of "Wind of Beiga," pulled out a short arrow from his subordinate’s throat and let out an enraged roar!

Indeed, this was no ordinary arrow! A close look at the yellow and black body of the arrow would reveal that it was a nine-inch-long queen bee. This arrow-shaped queen bee, entirely different from the species on the Aegean Continent, had a long, straight body with closely wrapped elytra and a tough body as hard as iron. Its three-inch-long tail sting glittered with a dark and shifting sheen, obviously containing a potent poison.

After killing the Hauser Divine Archer, the queen bee too had died. A queen bee without a stinger is sure to die!

No wonder it could change direction in mid-air! Turns out the arrows shot by the Desert Elves with their harps were not actually arrows at all! It’s no surprise that a sweep of strings could instantly attach five short arrows; they were volant queen bees!

Amid hearty laughter, the Desert Giants and the Desert Elves carried out a demonstrative roar and boisterous laugh, reverberating across the horizon.

"This is our celebrated ’Bee Arrow Transformation’ of the Desert Meyintsi! If you didn’t know about it before, consider this a courtesy notice," laughed the Desert Elves, claiming five-arrow dominance. "It’s just too bad you probably can’t raise such Meyintsi arrow bees since they require a large amount of expensive honey to nourish. They don’t produce honey; they only consume it!"

"What a handsome archery skill! Who among you wants to have a go at it?" Liu, angry to the point of laughter, looked over each of his archers one by one.

"I’ll go!" The Elven young Prince Mari squeezed out from between the legs of the crowd and rushed to the front of all the archers.

"Let me do it! To face such an archer, you need quick hands!" Nedved pushed aside the young prince.

Prince Mari, like a child robbed of his toy, angrily bumped his head against Nedved’s thigh, stubbornly trying to push through.

"Why don’t you both go together?" The arrogant Desert Elves said from beneath the city wall, "I hadn’t expected to see even children on the battlefield! You Beamon are indeed wild beasts!"

"You dare call yourself an Elf? Lacking even the virtue of humility, I truly am ashamed for you!" The young Prince Mari simply jumped onto the arrow stack, blocking Nedved’s view with his body and directly facing the Desert Elf.

"Protect Prince Mari discreetly," Liu whispered, holding back Nedved, who was still ready to jostle for position. With a nod, Nedved stepped back.

"It would be impolite not to reciprocate!" Liu nodded to the King of the Hill, and Bartel snatched a Populus wood torch from the Sentinel’s hand. With a thunderous roar, he swung his arm, hurling the torch in an arc towards the distance, its trailing fiery tail drawing a streak of crimson.

This was the signal for the competition to begin.

The archery talent of the High Elves was indeed extraordinary, especially for Prince Mari with his royal lineage. A flurry of silver string vibrations came from his magical bow "Kiss of Eluni," and the sharp Platinum Moonblade created a watery swirl, drawing a swift streak of white light towards the Desert Elf.
