Boiling Beast Bloodline
Chapter 1093 - 284: The Brave’s Game_2

Chapter 1093: Chapter 284: The Brave’s Game_2

Ten plump turkey horn blowers immediately took off the ox-horn trumpets from their waists and blew three long and two short, urgent yet clear trumpet sounds. Under the command of the horn, three elite brigades of the "God of War’s Whips" formed a huge square formation and began to charge forward. Each brigade’s drummers, wielding their muscular arms, forcefully swung their massive bone hammers.

"Boom—Boom—Boom—"

The winds and clouds changed color, the earth trembled, and even the air began to feel suffocating.

"Boom—Boom—Boom," the orderly and weighty drumbeats perfectly matched each step taken by every Beamon warrior, and these three thousand Beamon warriors’ synchronized steps seemed, in that moment, to transform into a giant hammer striking the war drums, with the broad expanse of the earth itself as the drum surface.

Ravines, echoes, and banners.

In the midst of swirling yellow dust, after the drummers struck the drum surface ten times, they knocked out a series of crisp "clattering" sounds on the side of the drum with their bone hammers, leading all Beamon warriors to let out a passionate, blood-boiling war cry: "Hai—Hai—Hai—"

"Woo—" One properly spaced trumpet call after another underscored the neat, mighty roar of the three thousand Beamon warriors, making it even more awe-inspiring and majestic.

"Beautiful!" Liu was so overwhelmed he couldn’t help but loudly cheer.

What uniform steps! What harmonious drumbeats! What vigorous shouts! Only such an army could be an invincible force!

The immense might demonstrated by the Beamon square formation and the incredibly intimidating spectacle it created had even Liu’s blood surging with excitement, eager for the cutting and the being cut, in this very moment!

Such a bloodthirsty desire!

Without any need for wartime mobilization, even the most timid Beamon warrior would instantly become a brave and fearless iron-blooded soldier upon joining such a formation!

"These are Beamon’s best warriors! And also the finest warriors of the entire Aegean!" exclaimed Prince Lionheart with a wave of his hand, smiling at Liu and all the priests, his voice filled with barely concealed pride.

Indeed, any commander would feel proud to have such an army!

These three thousand Beamon warriors all came from the "God of War’s Whips" Imperial Guard Legion, comprised of the most elite professional Beamon soldiers. The front-line "Bloodhoof" Buer Tribe heavy-armored brigade consisted entirely of selectively chosen Buer braves from among the Tauren, with every junior officer being a rhinoceros strongman of astonishing strength. Their weapon of choice was the hundred eighty-pound Totem Pillar, made from the ironwood cultivated in the windless recesses of valleys, straight and thick, extraordinarily sturdy, with iron rims fastened on the outer end— the Tauren’s most favored weapon.

In the middle of the formation, the Mixed Brigade comprised Rhine warriors wielding two-handed greatswords and Taige warriors with axe spears. The Lionmen of the Rhine Tribe and the Tiger Men of the Taige Clan both belonged to races with low fertility rates; thus, this Mixed Brigade was never at full strength, with only eight hundred fifty-two members, of which the Taige warriors were slightly more numerous, totaling five hundred seventeen. Every Lionman and Tiger Man was a hereditary Beamon military household member, and this noble-born brigade, the soul of the "God of War’s Whips" Legion, represented the pinnacle of Beamon’s military strength. After transferring one hundred forty-eight fierce Tiger Man warriors from the private Taige "Chang Army," the brigade finally reached full strength today.

The two wings of the entire formation consisted of the "Wind of Beiga" Centaur Divine Archer brigade, a prestigious team that had shone brilliantly in the battle of South Star. All ten squad leaders brandished gold-threaded lyre embroidery on their chests as "Divine Archery Philosophers," while the brigade commander and his deputy, the Ronaldo brothers, were Beamon’s renowned Divine Archers. The two robustly built twin hippopotamus men, leading their respective teams at the very front, had ten attendants following their steps, dousing them with a bag of water every ten minutes.

The hippopotamus men, the rarest in the Haus Tribe’s population, could suffer from cracked skin if they remained ashore for too long, which limited their ability to become outstanding warriors. However, as a branch of the Divine Archer race, if the direct descendants of the Haus Tribe with Centaur totem bloodline of Aiolis received training from excellent tutors from an early age, the hippopotamus men could still be the most exceptional Haus Archers!

Ronaldo’s brothers were born Divine Archers, with splendid athletic dance steps, precise Archery, and the strong bows they used, made of Giant Beast horns and bundled cow tendons, had a range of up to a thousand yards, making them renowned strong bowmen of the Bimon Kingdom---------------the best strong bowman should be Nedved, who wore the "Giant Beast Strength Belt," and now this blond powerhouse was keeping the boss company.

The well-known priests and generals who participated in this real combat observation, for the sake of secrecy, did not bring along followers and guards, but without exception, they brought their divine archers to their sides, making today’s event a gathering of almost half of Bimon Kingdom’s famous archers.

What a picturesque nation, abounding with so many heroes. {P.S.: Or "so many powerhouses"? Hehe...}

The group of officers and priests, forming the observation team, stood at the rear of the entire Bimon formation, slowly following the front troops and maintaining a sensible distance, at the request of His Highness the Prince, the proud Bimon generals all switched to ordinary armor, while the priests even disguised as small soldiers in paper armor, with ten Golden Holy Temple Knights wielding huge swords surrounding them.

Two hundred Antelope Aerial Cavalry dismounted and put their mounts into Space Rings, masquerading as a temporary guard.

Above the Bimon formation, sixteen Griffin Cavalrymen and six Biao Polearm bearers roamed; this was all that remained of Prince Kahn’s aerial forces, including two Biao warriors generously donated by Helen. In comparison, this aerial force was undoubtedly thin and weak.

Even the slowest Bimon, by now, would surely no longer claim that the army of Mulan they faced were mere bandits!

This army was as orderly as the Bimon’s formation, just as powerful and oppressive, a three-thousand strong Camel Cavalry formation moving forward steadily, their formation meticulous like a king’s ceremonial guard. The cavalrymen carried a pride that belied their steady demeanor, utterly unfazed by the lofty might of the opposite Bimon warriors; their mounts, pure white camels without a single stray hair, spreading across the yellow sand, like the vast white snow of winter.

Flanking the Camel Cavalry on both wings were a thousand Dile archers on camels, trembling like the earth itself, a comportment ill-fitting such an elite cavalry unit; the five hundred Flying Camel Cavalry in the rear, upon the command of the bugle, drew their scimitars in swift unison, slashing to both sides.

Five hundred scimitars formed a unanimous whistle, coupled with the airstream from the flapping of the Flying Camels’ wings, casting an icy chill over the battlefield. At their signal, all Camel Cavalry also drew their blades in unison, slashing through the air.

The Uzi Treasure Blades, of exceptional quality, hummed in the air, a sound only silver coins could produce, like a shout emerging from the crown of the head, a smile from a devil.

This action was highly effective; amid the uniform unsheathing sound of three thousand five hundred cavalrymen and the cleaving of their blades through the air, the Dile archers seemed to regain their confidence, still trembling, but evidently much more stable.

The distance was still three thousand meters...

"Gentlemen, unless it’s absolutely necessary, please remain true spectators. We, the warriors of ’War God’s Whip,’ refuse any extra help," Prince Lionheart mounted his steed---a massive Greenland Snow Lion---and saluted all the priests and officers with the proudest and most confident gesture: "I’m sorry to say this, but this is a matter of a warrior’s honor."

From a commanding perspective, His Highness Prince Lionheart’s decision was undoubtedly foolish.

Leveraging one’s magic advantages would be the unhesitant choice of any wise commander, but the strong confidence of a true hard man that His Highness revealed today earned the genuine admiration and respect of all the priests.

"Such foolish acts are probably only seen in our Bimon armies," Liu was impressed yet thought contradictorily.
