Chapter 1013: Chapter 254: The Coral Beauty’s Transformation_2

Seeing the characteristic arrogance, confidence, and stubbornness of the young on the Fairy Dragons’ faces, Mage Saint Chiao wisely held his tongue. He realized that his lengthy lecture was utterly unnecessary. For young beings eager to try new things, the best education was letting them take a few tumbles.

"How about it, you two? Think over the Master’s advice, then decide whether to take out the Dragon Ball, OK?" Liu Zhenhan filled another large cup with water, furrowed his brow, exhaled a long breath, and fixed his gaze on the two Fairy Dragons.

"No need! We’ve already made up our minds! We’re learning Dragon Language magic! We certainly won’t be inferior to the Merfolk! I’ve already decided, my first choice is Metal Magic! With that, I’ll be able to shape items freely during all my alchemy processes! My second choice is the Great Summoning Technique unique to Dragon Language magic! Who knows, maybe I’ll even be able to summon Elemental Spirits in the future!" Ruona’s earlier humility and caution had been tossed all the way to Tamerlarya’s Ice and Snow country.

"Me too, me too! I’ve made up my mind as well! I want to practice the plant and Earth Element spells within Dragon Language magic – these two complementary magics are the true royal road!" Daisy continued excitedly, and the two Fairy Dragons immediately started chattering about how they would use magic once they’d mastered it. Their talk became more and more far-fetched, even discussing the possibilities of forming a battle combo with two Fairy Dragons from the two great Dragon Cities, leaving Master Puskas utterly dumbfounded.

"I’m leaving first!" Mage Saint Chiao felt his age and shook his head, waving good-bye to Overlord Piegel, "Richard, I won’t say much about your upcoming battle in the Taklamago Desert, just bring back some dates for me when you have the chance. I’ve got a lot of things waiting for me, I better dash."

"Don’t worry, I’ll bring you back a thousand pounds to eat and throw around as you please." Liu Zhenhan, with his nose pinched by Ning Yu, gulped down another large mouthful of water.

"Take good care of Joan of Arc for me," the Master’s kind eyes landed on his daughter.

"Hold on!" Liu Zhenhan suddenly remembered something and stopped the Master. He fumbled in his pocket for a long time but couldn’t find what he was looking for.

"Is there something else?" The Master looked curiously at Piegel, who was pawing at himself as if searching for fleas.

Liu Zhenhan gestured for the Master to wait, concentrated for a moment with his eyes rolling around, suddenly looking thoughtfully at the Space Ring on his right hand, then slapped his head in realization and waved his hand, releasing a dazzling ring of light that spilled out all his bits and bobs.

Liu Zhenhan’s Space Ring didn’t hold much, just a few large iron boxes engraved with fierce beast designs, a huge coffin for Avril, and a sandalwood box, alongside a stunningly beautiful coral lady.

Liu Zhenhan stood up from the chair, cradling the sandalwood box in his arms, lifted the lid, and filled the room with a radiant aura from the sparkling jewels inside, causing Mage Saint Chiao to hastily shield his eyes with the back of his hand, dazzled by the sudden bright blur.

Inside the sandalwood box were pearls and Magic Crystals of various shapes, with the largest pearl being the size of a child’s head. As soon as this pearl appeared, the room’s sultriness was cleansed away instantly. On top of the box, the most prominent Magic Crystal was a massive, multicolored, tower-shaped one, emanating strong Elemental Fluctuations.

"Good Lord!" Even Master Puskas, seasoned and knowledgeable, couldn’t help but be astounded.

"Don’t bother, what are these pearls anyway? I and the second and third young masters have three Blood Pearls in our heads that we haven’t extracted yet! Those are the real top-notch pearls! Here, take a look at this." Liu Zhenhan took out a dark green pearl from the sandalwood box and brought it to the Master. It had a black star in the center, the size of a pigeon’s egg, its surface glistening, twinkling with roaming green specks.

"Sit down, sit down. Oh, your wound..." Master Puskas almost laughed himself to death; it turned out that this fellow not only coveted the pearls in other people’s heads but was equally eager for the riches in his own. However, considering the young man’s injuries, the Master didn’t want to be too harsh. Seeing Richard holding a big box, Master Puskas felt both pity and fondness and quickly stepped forward, intending to help this injured man.

"Obviously, there’s a trick to the Beryl Dragon Pearl, but don’t worry, this injury is nothing! I’ve been shot like a sieve on the battlefield before, didn’t I still survive?" Liu Zhenhan pushed away the Master’s outstretched arm and presented the dark green pearl to him again, "Take a look for me, would you? A few days ago, I just slaughtered a Bamboo Giant Centipede, a magical pet of a priest named Wolf. Hehe, this pearl came from the centipede’s head. I reckon that its skin was darkening, probably because of its old age. Have a look, and see if there’s anything special about this pearl?"

"You wouldn’t work for nothing, would you? I already appraised a Dragon Ball for you today! How about this, you give me that largest pearl! That thing is pretty amazing, just taking it out made the entire inn’s air become fresher and cooler. Hehe..." Mage Saint Chiao eyed Liu Zhenhan with almost shameless interest, and at that moment, he looked every bit the rogue.
