Chapter 91: You Underestimated Their Leader, Sir!
Noah didn’t waste another second.
He sliced the man’s throat cleanly, the blade gliding across with ease. Blood spilled, warm and fast, before he shoved the body aside like garbage.
Another system notification appeared in his vision:

However,
Noah didn’t feel satisfied. His experience level was still crawling toward his goal.
[Experience: 551 / 1,000]
’Damn, this is not enough. Not nearly enough...’
He dismissed the system screen with a flick of his mind, just as a voice suddenly thundered from the distance.
"Hey, Jim! Why’s it taking y’all so long to handle him?"
’Damn, they’re coming!’
Noah thought as the sound of multiple footsteps echoed toward his hiding spot.
He stayed perfectly still, crouched behind the open hood of his bulletproof car. He had no intention of fleeing.
This place was his trap.
He would lure them into his line of sight—one by one—to trigger his system. Then he’d finish them all.
He still has nine people to take care of.
Two men appeared. They’re built like the other three that Noah already killed.
When they enter his line of sight, suddenly his Ultimate Revenge triggers.
They gasped in shock upon seeing three bodies near the car.
Before either of them could shout, Noah struck.
In a flash, he pulled both into the shadows with him. Swift, lethal movements followed—precise and merciless.
Neither man stood a chance.
Within seconds, their lifeless bodies joined the others on the ground.
Dead.
Silence settled again.
Noah waited, tension in the air.
Still, no one else came.
He checked his system, and a new notification greeted him.
It confirmed what he suspected: the two men he had just killed were significantly weaker than the three before.

That explained why they’d died so easily.
But he is already thankful to earn money and skill points again.
’Zoe... You know what? I feel much stronger now. For a normal person, I might as well be death itself,’ he said softly, with a hint of pride in his smile.
’You will be surprised soon, sir...’
’I’m looking forward to it, Zoe!’
Another minute passed.
Still, nothing happens. No sounds could be heard from behind his car.
’Did they run away? No way! I have to take care of them. I need money and experience!’
A growing impatience crept into Noah’s chest.
Now, a few questions are starting to make him worry:
What if the others had figured it out?
What if they were planning to escape, realizing he had already killed five of their men?
’Zoe, do you know why they haven’t come to check on me?’
Noah asked, suspicion growing as he tried to get a glimpse of what happened to the rest of those gangsters.
Zoe’s calm voice responded in his mind almost immediately.
’Well, sir, they’re still inside the car. But... it looks like they’re starting to get suspicious. One... Oh no, three, five of them just stepped out—they are armed—’
Listening closely, Noah’s eyes narrowed as he reached into his storage space.
It was time.
Noah retrieved his gun.
There would be no more waiting. No more hiding.
He knew he couldn’t delay it any longer. His goal was to finish this quickly, take them all down, and get out of here.
Then,
One by one, they began to attack.
Gunfire erupted. Bullets tore through the air.
But Noah was already in motion.
Their bullets couldn’t touch him. His agility had evolved far beyond that of an ordinary human since reaching Power Level Four. He moved like a shadow—fast, precise, impossible to pin down.
His enhanced vision picked up everything. Movements, positions, trajectories—he could see it all before it happened.
Even when they attacked from two directions, Noah managed to target one of them.
A heartbeat later, a bullet from his gun tore through the attacker’s temple.
Another target came into view—Noah’s next shot pierced the man’s heart, killing him instantly.
He took their lives one by one. Without hesitation. Without mercy.
And it all happened in a blur. In less than five minutes.
Now, five more bodies lay scattered across the forest floor. Motionless. Lifeless.
The once peaceful woodland had been transformed into a war zone. The sounds of gunfire had shattered the silence, sending animals scattering into hiding, fleeing for their lives.
But now, the gunfire stopped.
Silence crept back in.
Only the soft rustle of the breeze stirring the leaves could be heard again.
The birds that had fallen silent during the chaos now cautiously resumed their distant song.
Still, something was off.
Noah remained perfectly still. It was too quiet. And, he wasn’t satisfied.
Two were still out there.
And he hadn’t yet heard the name he truly wanted—the mastermind behind this deadly ambush.
’Zoe, there are still two left to kill, right?’ He asked.
’Yes,’ she replied calmly.
’Did they run far?’
’Nope. They’re still in the car.’
Noah’s eyes narrowed. His hand still tightly holds his gun.
’Cut their comms... I don’t want them to contact their boss or call for backup; we isolate them here.’
’Already done, sir. I blocked their communications before you even asked.’
A deep breath escaped him, half a sigh, half a growl. That was one less thing to worry about. He hadn’t planned to stay out here any longer—killing twelve people in a single day should’ve been enough.
But his relief slowly faded when Zoe’s following words echoed sharply through his mind.
’Still, you underestimated their leader, sir...’
Noah’s jaw clenched.
