"A Level 1 Wizard counter-killing two Second-level Wizards?!"

Ronan was thoroughly shocked; such a feat could simply be described as glorious.

Somehow, the image of Angelie subconsciously emerged in his mind, along with an incredibly strong premonition -- if someone in the Silent Forest could achieve such a heroic act, then it must be... Angelie!

"What happened to that person afterward?"

Ronan inquired.

"Are you referring to the Level 1 Genius Wizard of Silent Forest?"

Basil said indifferently, "Who knows? Maybe they died, were captured by the people from the Crimson Tower, or perhaps such a person never existed... Rumors, after all, are proven to be false nine out of ten times upon investigation."

Ronan fell into thought and did not speak, but Basil already seemed inclined to end this brief conversation.

"That will do. The routine inquiry concludes here."

Basil rose from the couch, nodded and smiled at Ronan, "I enjoyed our chat. So, excuse me..."

"Lord Basil!"

The silent Ronan suddenly spoke up, halting Basil, who was nearly at the door.

The latter turned around expressionlessly, his indifferent gaze and the silver scars on his face accentuating the aloofness and detachment he exhibited.

"Is there something else, Mr. Ronan?"

But at that moment, Ronan seemed to be brewing something inside of him.

He raised his head and looked into Basil’s eyes, speaking in a low voice, "There’s one more thing I would like to discuss in depth with you, Lord Basil."

"Oh?"

Five minutes later, under the anxious and reverent send-off of the Blueberry Inn’s owner and his family, Silver Robed Basil casually walked out of the inn.

A small and exquisite Magic Airship was parked outside the inn. The short man Gu Wei was waiting beside the airship, quickly striding up to meet Basil with a strong sense of anticipation when he emerged.

"How did it go, my lord?"

Basil shook his head with a cool expression.

"Judging by our calculated timeline, this was the most likely candidate.

Yet, the reality is quite the opposite...

This is just a boy who has recently been promoted to Level 1 and hasn’t even managed to refine a Soul Seal."

"Ah..."

Disappointed by the news, Gu Wei sighed and couldn’t help but mutter, "From the list of individuals we have screened, besides the two who have already left Seventh Ring City, all others have been excluded.

If this one isn’t the right person either... sigh..."

"It might be one of the two who are currently outside Seventh Ring City, or perhaps... the person we are looking for is not even on the list we’ve screened..."

Basil’s face didn’t betray any disappointment. He squinted and instructed Gu Wei, "Keep a close watch. Those who have left might come back..."

"Understood."

Gu Wei nodded, watching as Basil stepped onto the airship.

"Lord Basil, where shall we go next?"

"Let’s meet the Intermediate Level 1 Stage Wizard you mentioned earlier, who has a decent Grade Soul Seal and comes from the Westernmost Land."

"Yes."

The runes on the Magic Airship lit up, resembling a nimble silverfish with blue stripes as it quickly soared into the sky and vanished in an instant.

From the window of a room on the second floor of Blueberry Inn, Ronan quietly watched the departing airship.

Once the airship completely disappeared, he withdrew his gaze, his eyes landing on a Rune Stone he was tightly clutching in his hand, exuding an icy blue gleam.

"It looks like... I have no choice but to select [Frozen Soil] and switch to practicing Ice Magic."

In the previous five minutes, despite Ronan having shown as much sincerity as possible in the hopes that Silver Robed Basil would vouch for him once,

He was still mercilessly rejected.

To be precise, Basil could not even be bothered to express his refusal to Ronan.

He merely watched Ronan with a smile throughout, waited until Ronan had finished speaking, and then naturally turned around and left...
