BLOOD LEGACIES
Chapter 39: Blushing

Chapter 39: Blushing

The feeling of his finger rubbing me was too good, it felt so so good and my body was overly sensitive, I felt like holding his hand and leading him to rub deeper but I was overly flushed to do such, I just let him rub me in a tender manner but each movement was like a beacon rising within me, getting ready to explode.

It made me wonder how good it would feel when touching my crotch skin to skin, how hot would that be? Will it be more intense than this? Oh, I wanted that, I wanted to know the feeling, this wasn’t seating for me right now. My thoughts were blocked when he gave a slightly fast stroke and I leaned backward, my neck hanging behind, I felt his breath against my face, harsh just like mine and low, and then at my neck, his hot breath burning me there and a deep shiver circled in my head only increasing the tension between us.

I felt something within me build-up and his friction continued, my grip tightened on my desk this time, Oh please let me not make a sound! I was close!

"Alright class that’s all for the video, I hope you learned something because the pop quiz starts now"

I flashed my eyes open, the video was off, the lights were back on and Dace’s hand was nowhere near my thighs again, what just happened? Did it happen? I faced Dace, his eyes forward, totally cool like nothing happened like he didn’t just stroke me in class, perfectly calm and I was the only one drawing in my breath.

"Fuck!" I heard him curse under his breath as his jaw tightened. I had no idea why but my face was covered in a hard blush. I darted my eyes away from him, our teacher was already handing out papers.

He placed the papers on the desk before sauntering away. Now I have a pop quiz to answer GREAT! Let’s just hope you learned something Emma!

Seems like God was on my side, I was able to answer well in my papers. Funny the questions were related to what Dace told me, not completely but most of it, guess I was lucky or because Dace was a smart ass, it seems like Chem isn’t just his only jam.

I faced him licking my lips, flashes of what happened in the classroom flooding through my head, I blushed deeply looking away, I was unable to meet his gaze ever since, I was a blushing mess, I just tried really hard to focus on selecting my lunch.

I noticed Dace wasn’t taking any, I wanted to ask but the words wouldn’t come off.

We walked to a seat after I was done. I pulled some strands of my hair settling properly on my seat, I should say something, this silence will get awkward. "Y-You are n-not eating?" I bit my bottom lips, I stammered more than I hoped not to.

He gave me a sweet smile leaning forward. "Finally I heard your voice" he mused. "You barely said anything in class"

I blushed, my gaze leveling on my food. I opened my mouth to speak but I just couldn’t find what to say.

"About that... I shouldn’t have, I got carried away, I’m sorry"

My heart melted, there was nothing to be sorry about surprising even for me, I wanted to tell him it was okay, but my words were hung in my throat, I sighed and tried again but Emilia stalked towards us.

"Answer your damn phone, Dace!" she half yelled at him. "And what are you doing here? You shouldn’t be in school" she began once again before her eyes darted to me like she just realized I was here, she folded her arms. "I see why now"

"Emilia"

She rolled her eyes, took a seat beside me, and slid my tray to her front.

"H-Hey" I found my voice but she was already chewing on my chips. I murmured something under my breath cautiously reaching for my yogurt before she would claim that too.

"Fuck Emilia let her eat"

"First chance you got you came running to school, what happened to avoiding her"

She spoke like I wasn’t just beside her, Dace’s eyes darted to me and I knew at that moment she was talking about me.

"I can’t" he answered in a low tone, his intense gaze resting on me, I noticed how my heart beat quickened.

Emilia ticks her tongue. "I know, never been yourself" her eyes darted to me, I just silently sucked on my straw. "So are you dating my brother now?"

I coughed.

"Emilia, don’t make her uncomfortable, why do you always do that?"

"It’s in my blood. So when will you tell her?

"T-Tell me what?"

"Okay I should go" she mouths, rising to her feet luckily she didn’t take my food tray with her.

I watched as she cat-walked to another table where Lucas sat, he waved at me with a smile and I waved back.

"Don’t let her bother you, she’s like that"

"G-Getting used to it," I said my eyes on him. "What d-does she mean, when are you gonna tell me what?"

He leaned forward resting his arms on the table. "There are things I can and cannot tell you, she knows that, she’s just rambling"

"W-What things can’t you not tell me?"

He smiled. "It’s the coexistence, I can’t break that law...." he paused. "...But I’m already breaking a few, like I said I’m already damned"

I blinked confused. "What law?"

"Let’s see it this way... things that are meant to be kept should be kept, that’s called the Law of Coexistence, it’s the way we can all live in peace"

I remembered Vanessa saying something like this, not like Dace’s exact same words but the coexistence stuff. I licked my lips.

"Does this have to do with why no one would tell me anything?"

He sighed. "Yes..."

"But like you said you already broke the rule can’t you just tell me?"

"I haven’t broken the law of coexistence... yet... but the very rule I have broken is coming into your home where I’m not wanted"

"Why aren’t you wanted, Dace?"

He paused as his gaze leveled but they were back on me, but they were hollow. "Because I’m different"
