BLOOD LEGACIES -
Chapter 258: Beastly {2}
Chapter 258: Beastly {2}
My breathing was purely unstable and my heart was racing to the point I couldn’t keep track of it. I twirled to the 8 feet werelion before me, he was big, very big. I just stayed purely still as I gazed at the beast that stood before me. And here I thought he was back to his human form... I guess I was wrong.
This was a humanoid lion gracing my presence. His shady gold fur I knew was a darker shade like the color was drained, and his smooth pale skin I was accustomed to was covered in it, but that didn’t stop his glorious abs from showing, and they looked bigger in this form. His mane hair covered his entire neck and the side of his face with long thick fur.
He growled deep and low, and I gulped, unable to look away. I didn’t know what to do, but I weighed the option in my head that I should just stay still and for some reason, he didn’t look hostile... he looked calm?
He rasped and I flinched but I didn’t move, I was dying to... maybe run away because I was scared, very, because I knew he wasn’t in his right mind, he was too unpredictable. He tilted his head to the side like he was studying me now and all I did was shudder under his dark gaze, his golden orbs on me were just too piercing and it made a flood of heat run through me.
He sniffed now... the air around me and he crouched his back to me and still took in the air but I knew it was nothing more than my scent. I squeezed my eyes shut and my fists clenched tightly as his hot breath enough to take away my cold filled my face. Oh, god he was so hot, just being this close to him I was about to sweat!
He continued sniffing my face and then he lowered and I flicked my eyes open when I realized where his nose was stationed, the base of my left breast! I blushed deeply inching to get away but I was too afraid to move... scared that he might snap.
He sniffed deeply at that particular area that was when the realization caught me, he was sniffing his mark!
"Tiger," I said softly and then he pulled away from me with a heaving breath.
"Dace"
He snarled, shaking his head like he was trying to get something off it.
"Dace please..."
And then he went on all fours and dashed away.
"DACE!" I called running after him. "DACE!" I kept calling but he was too fast, he was like a blur of speed as the trees shook at his rapid movement but I didn’t stop, I knew the direction he took so I kept running.
I don’t know how long now, not until I stopped to catch my breath. My palms were on my knees as I tried to steady my breathing. I sniffed but then my eyes caught something, the ground or rather the hays that weren’t covered in snow.
Puzzled I arch my back backward and meet with a view that left me tongue-tied... I was astounded at what lay before me, an entire forest without snow, not a hint of it at all, just like my dream when I saw two seasons. The grasses were so green and the trees and flowers weren’t covered at all but rather spread out majestically, bright and harmonizing the area with their mere presence.
"What?" I was dumbfounded so I looked back and puffed when I saw the blazing cold behind me and the mask of snow of what should be. This must be a dream right? Because there was no way two seasons could happen at once, I mean this was winter and this is JUNEAU, it should be cold!
I hinged back to the fantasy view before me, this is definitely real, I have seen a lot of supernatural craziness but this was enough to take my breath away and leave me breathless. Unable to stop myself I wandered more into the view, the twilight made everything more esoteric. And don’t get me started on the skies.... millions of stars covered it under this view, spreading upon it like a mask of dots.
This part of the forest looked just out of the world... The tall monstrous trees encircle the area like a wall protecting this particular magnificent view, it was just so captivating and spectacular, it was quiet too, incredibly quiet, with no creatures of the night.
I let the bag I carried slide from my back and dropped to the ground, as I continued to take in this wondrous view. I noticed a brook at the center, it glowed like the moonlight was within it, all shiny. It was encircled and reached all the way to a tall rock, spilling from it like a waterfall.
Still stuck in stupefaction I sat on the boulder covered with green grasses allowing my eyes to roam further. I couldn’t stop looking because this was so amazing, it was like seeing an impossible view and it seemed like I was in heaven, was I dreaming?
The profound growl behind me told me otherwise and then the footsteps.
I drew nattily on my breath when from the corner of my eyes I saw Dace. I scarfed wondering what was gonna happen again... what if he sniff me again and-
My brain went numb.... benumbed because Dace did something I didn’t expect... he rubbed the side of his face again mine and I closed my eyes when his fur brushed against my skin, it was so celestial that fireworks exploded in my brain, the smooth texture of it was so soothing and made my body tingles from it, causing a shiver to run through my spine all the way back to my head.
A moan escaped me before I could stop myself for I was lost in his tender rubbing, a feeling built within me and I couldn’t tell what... all I knew was I didn’t want him to stop this tender rubbing, I bit my bottom lip, rubbing my knee together because an ache found my already drenched core, fuck! Of all the time I just had to be stimulated right now, what if he catches a whiff of it, and then what?
I heard a purr, wait... I flicked my eyes open, a purr?! Did Dace just purr?! Not a menacing growl but a purr?
