Chapter 576: -67- The Blood Servant cannot lie to the Master

Charlotte was now certain that Albrecht had not recognized her identity.

Otherwise, he would never have been so brazenly hitting on her, let alone using Mind Suggestion magic on her.

Though she admitted that it might sound somewhat narcissistic, Charlotte was well aware of how outstanding her appearance was.

It was a level of beauty that impressed even herself, who had been bombarded by various photoshop software and beauty AI for years in her past life, and at a banquet of the nobles in Mireya, she was always the center of attention.

Especially after merging with the Faceless Divine Statue.

Perhaps due to becoming a demigod, her skin quality and aura had further improved. Even if setting aside her Blood Divine Power, her abilities had not yet surpassed those of a mortal, her appearance was increasingly less mortal-like.

To the point where Charlotte, now attending various banquets, was no longer concerned with how beautiful she dressed up, but rather how to make her makeup appear more "mortal."

Of course, even close to "mortal" was enough to make ordinary people look up to her.

That was not even to mention Charlotte’s identity as a "Blood True Ancestor."

Even if she concealed her aura, she had been transformed many times by the Blood Holy Scripture, and her bloodline’s strength had become pure enough.

Most bloodlines needed to perform Blood Sucking regularly, and even Legendary Bloodlines still harbored the urge to drink blood.

Charlotte, having been transformed multiple times by the Blood Holy Scripture, had an undoubtedly more tempting blood, and even if Albrecht did not sense the aura she concealed with Blood Divine Power, his keen Spiritual Sense as a bloodline would involuntarily cause him to glance at Charlotte.

That was why the normally cautious Albrecht was attracted to her, more normal than not.

Charlotte was not particularly angry about Albrecht’s actions; she just found it somewhat amusing.

She was in need of some entertainment, so she went along with it, playing her part, curious to see what sort of tricks the man would play.

Unlike the starry sky of Blue Star, which had long been polluted with light, the starry sky of Mireya city was still dazzling and beautiful.

The Milky Way adorned the sky, similar yet foreign to the night sky Charlotte remembered.

Equally magnificent, equally splendid.

But what was different was the completely distinct Star Sea.

The star positions, completely different from her previous life, continuously reminded Charlotte that she had indeed crossed worlds.

Albrecht, for his part, had not done anything out of line.

After bringing Charlotte to the observatory, he naturally stood by her side, gazing up at the starry sky with her.

The dark sky twinkled with stars as luminous as diamonds, with nebulae entwined, as if an endless Galaxy extended through the universe.

Charlotte was quickly attracted to the dazzling Star Sea.

However, Albrecht keenly noticed that the girl did not have the excitement and joy of a child viewing the beautiful starry sky in her eyes; instead, amidst her admiration, there seemed to be a touch of melancholy and sigh.

This surprised him, and with it came a further curiosity about the girl.

It seemed... the bud he had found was one with a story.

Albrecht liked to uncover stories.

Following Charlotte’s gaze, he smiled slightly and said,

"Beautiful miss, the constellation you are looking at now is the ’Flying Wings Constellation’."

"That is the constellation that guards all the birds; it is said to have been established by the Sky God for a sparrow named ’Barry.’"

"The sparrow is a bird that finds it difficult to fly high, but ’Barry’ was different. It yearned to fly over the world’s highest peak, to explore the unknown heavens."

"It bravely soared toward the sky, never giving up even in the face of fierce storms, and even the ridicule of giant dragons did not make it turn back."

"Finally, it crossed the storm and reached the summit. On the brink of death, it became the first sparrow to reach the top of the world."

"Its courage and determination moved the Sky God, and every star in the sky shone for it. In the end, with the Sky God’s Blessing, it became the Flying Wings Constellation in the starry sky, a beacon for the birds, guiding all the fowl to soar in the heavens..."

"Beautiful miss, that constellation is the ’Acacia Constellation’, and it too has an ancient story."

"However, this story is not inspiring but rather sad..."

"..."

Albrecht pointed to the stars in the sky and began telling stories.

To Charlotte’s surprise, the man actually did have a knack for pleasing girls, his mind filled with various little stories about constellations.

Even she, unwittingly, became somewhat absorbed, immersed in the stories he narrated, some beautiful, some sad.

However, Charlotte also noticed that, unlike the constellation stories of Blue Star, Albrecht’s stories always ended with gods.

Whether it was the Sky God or the god of beauty and love, in his narration, all constellations had been created by gods, closely related to divinity.

A flicker of interest crossed through Charlotte’s mind.

With an innocent and longing expression, she asked in a crisp voice,

"Sir, are these stories you’re telling truly stories that have happened in the past?"

Albrecht smiled gently.

He was about to continue with the topic to coax the girl as he had done when chatting up girls with little sky stories in the past.

But for some reason, looking into the girl’s eyes as pure as the starry sky, the words he planned to fob off suddenly changed as he opened his mouth:
