Blind Spot -
Chapter 265 - 247 Aggregate Three
Chapter 265: 247 Aggregate Three
"Brother Li is being too courteous. We also hope for mutual aid. Our coming together isn’t solely because of your invitation alone," Lei Shan clarified a bit more.
He could see that Li Chengyi’s trio had an ace up their sleeve, but when it came to competing for the Book of Record, which of the three teams present didn’t have their own trump card?
Even Alisa, who appeared carefree and was bullied at the airport—if anyone really thought she was weak, they would be sorely mistaken.
In a place like White Star, earning a reputation isn’t about besting one or two teams but rather dozens or even hundreds of them.
In such circumstances, the Sea Wolves are very likely the strongest amongst the three teams present.
Otherwise, after being oppressed at the airport, they should have realized they lacked the strength to take part in the competition for the Book of Record and should have voluntarily backed out.
Lei Shan’s thoughts were crystal clear.
Li Chengyi also noticed that the Northern Shore Star wasn’t easy to fool.
But that was okay.
"Other teams have already set off, so why don’t our three teams merge and move out together? We can discuss our plans en route," he suggested.
"That’s perfect! We were just short of a vehicle!" Alisa quickly agreed, laughing.
"The three from The Garden can rest assured, with us Sea Wolves around, the surrounding environment will be absolutely safe!"
"I’ve heard there are Sand Thieves near our destination. With us around, we can definitely blow them all to pieces!"
"Our boss has incredible strength! A robust physique! Only sleeps ten minutes a night and can keep going for ten hours during the day!"
"Exactly, our boss is known as the Silver-backed Mother! She’s quite famous on White Star!"
"Will you all shut it!!" Alisa stomped her foot, planting it in the sand.
Boom!
Under the enhancement of the exoskeleton, a ring of Giant Strength vibrations blasted open a crater half a meter wide.
"That works for me. Our vehicles can fit everyone; it will be good to have each other’s backs. What do you think?" Li Chengyi agreed.
"Oh, and our vehicles are guaranteed to be spacious, equipped with air conditioning, refreshments, and even game consoles. Plus, we have automated drones scanning and patrolling the surroundings, with multi-systems maintaining security, saving a lot of manpower."
Calling it a vehicle was an understatement; it was more like a hover-type small troop transport.
In a place like Sutan, this was a rare commodity, not only expensive but also hard to borrow without the right connections.
However, Qiong An managed to easily acquire this ’outdated’ new merchandise from White Star after a few operations here.
One troop transport could accommodate twenty people.
With two transports, that made forty people. Even if everyone present got on board, there would still be plenty of room to spare.
After a round of insincere protests, the members of all three teams boarded the transport ships that had arrived.
"Holy shit...!"
Alisa, confronted with the silver-white ’small troop transport’ that was three stories tall and over ten meters long, compared it to the old desert off-road vehicles they were using before.
This is the difference between an RV and a tricycle!!
"Awesome!!"
"Holy hell, look at all this food! Is this a vacation or what!?"
"Big sis, come quick! So many game consoles! And we can even connect to the net on White Star!"
"Mom, I’m in Sutan, how’s my sister? Is she still wetting the bed..."
While Alisa was still in shock, the rest of the Sea Wolves had already gone up and started enjoying themselves,
Essentially, this was their team’s philosophy.
In the limited time of life, do whatever you want, live easy without burdens.
Meanwhile, on another ship.
Lei Shan from Northern Shore Star, along with his two teammates, and the people from Garden of Fate were on a separate ship.
Wang, the black-haired young man from Sea Wolves and the brain of the team, was also there. As the team’s strategist, he had to be with both sides, becoming the command center of the crew.
The three leaders sat down in a small compartment on the ship alone, watching the slowly spinning holographic map on the table.
"We can pretty much confirm that Noel Group doesn’t really intend to let us get our hands on the Book of Record," Lei Shan spoke up first.
"Many must have guessed this point, but everyone thinks they have what it takes to deal with the hidden threats," Wang said coolly. Since his leader had forcefully made him a part of this, he had to make the situation as advantageous as possible for his team.
"That’s why a union among our three teams can boost our combined strength, preparing us to handle any trouble," Li Chengyi nodded. "I have detailed information about our destination, Black Road Oasis."
"I’m eager to hear more," Wang promptly became serious. He was obviously from Yi Country just by his appearance and the way he spoke.
"Black Road Oasis is occupied by a pretty formidable army of Sand Thieves, known as the Silver Cup Sand Thieves. This group is very strong. Their common troops are not much of a match for us—they don’t mean much to us who are Genetic Enhancement experts—as long as we avoid being surrounded and targeted.
But the key is their elite force," Li Chengyi paused, "which we are really not in a position to contend with. Being well aware of our own inferior strength, we invited you two to join."
"How strong are their elite forces?" Lei Shan asked deeply.
"It’s unclear, but considering they’ve been stymieing Noel Group and the Sutan military, they must be quite formidable," Li Chengyi analyzed.
"Those complete bodies made from trash materials, judging by the materials and design, they look like products of Utopia. It’s likely they have a hand in this as well," Lei Shan said.
"This could be tricky. If Utopia has deployed military-level complete bodies..." Wang apparently knew about Utopia too.
"Blind Spot Individuals who live longer have all had dealings with them," Lei Shan said, "but they’ve just been severely hit by Jiu Yi of Yi Country, so they probably can’t spare much force right now. Our main concern should be the Silver Cup Sand Thieves and Noel Group."
"Since we’ve all come this far, everyone must be prepared for danger at any time. As long as we work together, there’s no problem we can’t solve!" Li Chengyi said, enthusiastically trying to boost morale.

Belgastin.
Green Tower.
The six people with the highest power still gathered here, watching the live-action holographic recording that Simon had just sent.
"This is the last recording my people sent. The people from the Garden of Fate are very lucky. Before we took action, the Sea Wolves and Northern Shore Star converged to help them resolve the ambush from our troops," Simon said grimly.
"I didn’t expect these Blind Spot Individuals to have some strength," Mayor Cabey said, stroking his chin with interest.
"It’s normal for people from White Star to have some aces up their sleeves," Deputy Mayor Midlan responded. "The key issue is, why are all of these complete entities made from inferior materials, and not a single real complete entity was deployed?"
At her words, the few people present fell silent.
The real complete entity was not something those inferior materials, resembling robots, could compare with.
The cost of making them was so high that if a few were to be damaged, just the repair costs could make everyone present wince.
"It seems these Blind Spot Individuals do have some strength, we should all show a bit more sincerity, otherwise, none of us will get that new system," Deputy Mayor Midlan said with a smile.
"Noel Group is best at biotechnology, why don’t you show some sincerity first, as a lead?" Simon looked towards Chairman Mistin of Noel.
"No rush. Those three from the Garden of Fate are relying on nothing but the combat strength of the other two teams, but as they get closer to the oasis, their cohesion will also weaken. We can wait a bit longer..." Mistin said with a smile.
"Well said, let’s stick to the original plan. Their forming alliances is a clear sign they realize there are threats besides the Sand Thieves. Now it’s just a matter of finding the right opportunity," Huang Zhiheng from Zhi Cheng Capital coldly said.
"Then we’ll wait," Simon fell silent for a moment, then answered. "I’ll have Shalin observe the situation on the spot first."
In the oasis plan, apart from the fodder complete entities present before, what they really relied on was the Slaughter Scorpions Squad, made up of elites from various groups.
This squad had six members, each from one of the six directions of the Green Tower.
The strongest among them, Shalin, was an experimental Reinforced Human from under Simon’s command.
Compared to the previous complete entities, the Slaughter Scorpions were the real top-notch special forces team.
Simon had immense confidence in them.
It was heard that in Yi Country, a thug had defeated a director from both White Skeleton and Noel Group head-on.
So, he went out of his way to have Shalin come over from within the organization.
If White Skeleton represented a force that could suppress an entire Yi Country city alone.
Then each member of the Slaughter Scorpion Squad could easily take down several White Skeletons.
Some of them were laboratory-modified models, while others were battle-hardened top fighters equipped with high-end exoskeletons and Gene Medicine.
You could say that aside from those present themselves, the Scorpion Squad was basically the sharpest tool they openly had.

Gilgira Desert.
The rolling yellow sand stretched to the horizon, merging heaven and earth.
The convoy of Blind Spot Individuals and low-flying vehicles, now broken into sections, were racing towards the Black Road Oasis at full speed.
As if being slightly slower would mean missing out, snatched away by others.
The mere two hundred plus Blind Spot Individuals scattered across this vast desert were like a few drops of water melting into the ocean, inconspicuous.
Apart from the Garden of Fate, Sea Wolves, and Northern Shore Star—the last three teams—among the other teams, the strong ones included Hollow Body, Crimson Warhammer, and Celestial Knight.
They were also the Blind Spot Teams with the most members and had each formed their own Blind Spot alliances with themselves at the core.
Obviously, Li Chengyi and his group weren’t the only smart ones; everyone just made different choices.
The one at the very front was a team of over thirty people known as Hollow Body.
They were the Blind Spot Team with the most members and also came from White Star.
At the very least, each person had received one Genetic Enhancement Injection and had some Modification Module on their body.
Knowing their time was short, some Blind Spot Individuals would spend everything to strengthen themselves.
Hollow Body was such a case.
Their leader, a burly bearded Caucasian named Battis, was standing on a low-flying vehicle, gazing far into the distance of the desert.
"No one can stop me from getting the Book of Record! Sand Thieves... let’s see what you’re made of..."
Battis upheld the typical style of Hollow Body—madness!
"Boss, there’s a strong electromagnetic reaction 15 kilometers away! It should be some large machinery operating," his second-in-command Laina, idly twirling a large caliber one-handed cannon in her hand, said nonchalantly.
"What about the people we sent earlier to negotiate?" Battis asked.
Although they were mad, they weren’t fools, so at the beginning, they sent people to negotiate with the Sand Thieves. If they could get the Book of Record directly, without a conflict, that would be best.
It was just a matter of exchanging benefits.
"Only their heads came back," Laina said indifferently.
"Interesting... The Silver Cup Sand Thieves have roughly thirty thousand people. It’s said that they also have mysterious forces supporting them, and their strongest machine is named the Sand Boat System. This time we’ll see how strong this Sand Boat really is!" Battis sneered.
"Here they come," Laina looked up towards the distance ahead.
In the midst of the flying sand, about a kilometer away from their convoy on a sand dune, figures clad in white robes were slowly emerging.
The one leading them, with his dazzling golden hair spilled over his shoulders and a golden mask on his face, had a white cape fluttering in the wind, with golden buttons on his shoulders as adornments. He clearly stood out from the rest.
