Blind Spot
Chapter 264: Incorporate two

Chapter 264: Incorporate two

Salin Suburb.

A line of desert vehicles formed into a convoy, moving steadily into the depths of the desert.

Some were driven by wheels, others floated a meter off the ground, and there were even rudimentary desert motorcycles.

Most of these vehicles were rented by Blind Spot Individuals for the completion of their current mission.

Among the convoy, inside two sand coaches painted entirely white.

Individuals in full yellow camouflage suits sat quietly in their seats, like normal people, waiting for orders to arrive.

The two leading them were Simon’s most trusted subordinates: Captain Modemora and Major Henry.

There was little outward difference in the attire of these two from the other Reinforced Humans, except for a white eagle medal on their chests to denote their rank.

"The trio from the Garden of Fate are still in their hotel room; they haven’t left," Major Henry said gravely, looking at the vehicle’s monitoring equipment.

"Not panicking at all? Interesting. Could these three be disposable scouts deliberately sent by them?" Captain Modemora stroked his chin, pondering.

"No matter what, the mission must be executed," Major Henry said calmly. "I hope they won’t resist too vehemently. Otherwise, I’ll show them what cruelty is..."

The rest fell silent, continuing to wait.

Time soon passed, another half-hour gone by.

"The other Blind Spot Teams have almost set off; all that’s left are them. These three really know how to hold their breath," Major Henry frowned.

"Major, it’s about time, we can move now," Captain Modemora suggested.

"Move!" Major Henry snorted coldly, gesturing with his right hand.

In an instant, the doors of the coach swung open, and troops disembarked.

These soldiers, ostensibly from the Sultan Military, were actually from Utopia, which harbored more advanced Reinforced Human technology than Sultan.

Meanwhile, inside the hotel room.

"They can’t stand it any more," Rainbow Candy said, adjusting his AR glasses, with a grave tone.

"So many of them... Should we... run first?" Dragon Gate Crane asked cautiously, looking at the other two in a low voice.

"Run? Let me handle it," Rainbow Candy said, picking up the silver briefcase next to him and walking toward the door.

"Actually, open combat is a good thing. Direct attacks are easier to deal with than sneaky plots," Li Chengyi said with a smile.

He too stood up.

"Let’s go, let’s take a look together," he said, opening his luggage and pulling out a Green Electric Greatsword wrapped in black cloth.

Click.

The door was opened by Rainbow Candy, who was about to leave.

Suddenly a roar came from outside the window.

"Crush them! These people don’t look like anything good!" a hoarse female voice could be heard clearly even through the soundproof glass.

The slightly slurred White Star Language, translated by the earpiece, became even more muddled.

Rainbow Candy was startled, quickly opening the door and heading downstairs.

Just stepping out of the hotel lobby, she saw a group of strong men and women dressed in white uniforms beating up a group of Reinforced Humans in yellow combat suits.

When she arrived, Captain Modemora and Major Henry were being subdued by a silver-haired ponytailed woman and a black-haired young man.

The four wielded short weapons, moving at high speed, especially the silver-haired woman, who was as agile as a springy monkey, clearly outpacing her opponents.

From her attacking speed, it was evident that she too was a Reinforced Human; her combat skill and power surged above those of her opponents.

Beep beep beep.

Suddenly, a green light appeared on the woman’s hand.

"Sea Realm Explosive Fist!" she shouted.

She raised her right arm high, then hammered down swiftly, leaving a trail of afterimages.

Whoosh!

In an instant, her fist detached from her wrist, shooting out on a steel tether, hitting Major Henry squarely in the chest with a terrifying speed several times the speed of sound.

Boom!!

Major Henry’s expression changed dramatically as he was hit by the punch.

His body was blown apart in an instant, exploding into more than a dozen pieces.

On the other side, the black-haired young man also sighed regretfully as his blade grazed past Captain Modemora.

In a split second, he slashed five times. Each strike was a Soft Qi Eruption, combining the strength of genetic enhancement with the explosive force of the exoskeleton.

The instantaneous lethality exceeded three tons.

The three tons of force focused on the tip of the short blade resulted in nearly indestructible penetration.

The body fell, with all vital points in the chest and abdomen punctured with large holes.

By that time, all others had also concluded their fights.

There were practically no survivors.

The black-haired young man looked helplessly at the silver-haired female leader.

He was actually against coming to form ties with the Garden of Fate. The team had a strong background, but it seemed to bring a lot of trouble, and they had already offended the Sultan Military right from the start.

Why couldn’t they just focus on competing for the Book of Record without stirring up other troubles?

Why insist on meddling in these messy affairs?

But he had persuaded as much as he could; since the boss insisted on going through with it, there was nothing he could do but follow.

"Hahahaha!" At this moment, the silver-haired ponytailed woman laughed loudly, arriving at the entrance of the hotel lobby and looking at the three members of Rainbow Candy walking out.

"Members of the Garden of Fate, you guys were really careless. You’ve got people watching you and you didn’t hurry up to travel with a larger group."

"We’ve dealt with those people for you! No need for thanks. By the way, my name is Alisa, the leader of White Star’s Sea Wolves. Last time at the airport, you embarrassed that effeminate guy, and it was so satisfying to watch!"

She extended her hand towards Rainbow Candy.

"Come on, let’s get acquainted. You’ve got too few people; you didn’t call for more. Even if you’re strong, you don’t have enough to keep watch at night! Better to go with us! I’ve got you covered!"

Her casual gesture caused the black-haired young man watching from the side to twitch the corner of his eye.

He just knew... there were actually idiots who would willingly dive into trouble!

Looking around at the others, except for him, not a single person objected. After the fight, everyone still had the look of wanting more.

He sighed deeply, feeling like he was a border collie among a group of huskies.

Rainbow Candy looked down at the hand extended in front of them, uncertain about what to do.

Snap.

Li Chengyi’s large hand reached out from beside her and firmly grasped Alisa’s hand.

The two large hands held each other tightly.

"I can’t thank you all enough!" Li Chengyi said, his face filled with gratitude as he vigorously shook Alisa’s hand.

"We’re inexperienced; it’s our first time out here. We didn’t expect that someone would dare to attack us in a high-end hotel. It’s just..."

He looked indignant.

"Isn’t this just Sutan’s way? Just this once. Next time, even if you beg me, I’m never coming here!" Alisa said, her expression showing deep empathy.

She disdainfully glanced at the hotel staff and armed security hiding far away.

"Ms. Alisa is absolutely right! We owe a lot to the Sea Wolves for stepping in. Otherwise, our team would have suffered a great loss," Li Chengyi said, with a touch of emotion.

"To show our thanks for everyone’s help, I’ve rented two desert RVs, perfect for us all to use together!"

"It seems we’re no longer needed." Not far off, three figures dressed in black mirror-finish bodysuits slowly approached.

On their chests, the blue insignia of the stars was visible.

They were from Northern Shore Star.

The one in the lead was the boss, Lei Shan.

As a representative of the Blind Spot Individuals with a calm demeanor, Lei Shan rarely showed significant emotional upheaval. Coupled with his strong physique, handsome face, and enormous wealth, he was a person of great repute in a small country like Xista.

"How come you guys are here?" Alisa asked, somewhat puzzled.

"Actually, like the Sea Wolves, I invited them to come," Li Chengyi suddenly said.

"???"

"!!!?"

Rainbow Candy and Dragon Gate Crane were both shocked.

They thought the others had happened to be passing by and lent a hand, but it turned out they had been invited by the boss??

What kind of scheme was the boss playing this time?

"But it seems that there is no need for our help," Lei Shan from Northern Shore Star said calmly.

"The fact that you three were willing to come is already a great honor for me, Li. I will definitely repay this in the future," Li Chengyi said earnestly.

"I can’t help it," he sighed, "I was just too scared. When I found out so many people were planning to attack us, I couldn’t resist and shamelessly sent out a request for help."

He sighed deeply.

"It has troubled all of you so much, and for that, I, Li Chengyi, would like to apologize to everyone." He bowed deeply.

"For everyone’s efforts, we at the Garden of Fate are willing to pay a gratitude fee of ten million white yuan to thank you for your rescue."

Hiss.

The amount mentioned made many present, especially the more than ten members of the Sea Wolves, gasp.

Most of them were a combination of Reinforced Humans and Genetic Enhancement, consuming a large amount of money constantly. Just for stepping in a little and blowing up a couple of garbage full forms, they could receive such hefty compensation.

Most of the Sea Wolves began to look at Li Chengyi differently.

The three from Northern Shore Star, however, didn’t seem to care much about the money. They had their own reasons for being willing to come here.

"Brother Li’s got guts," Lei Shan said calmly. "Now that we are all here, let’s take this opportunity to discuss the purpose behind Noel Group’s event in Sutan."

"Lei Shan is right; we are all in pursuit of the Book of Record, to obtain clues to completely break free from Blind Spot. Our goal is the same," Li Chengyi said gravely. "At least until we find the Book of Record, we should not have any conflicts. The Blind Spot Individuals who have managed to get here are surely mostly elites. Everyone here can see that our presence is not very welcome."

"Humph! Those scumbags!" As soon as this was mentioned, Alisa became angry, remembering the humiliation of having her underwear thrown out and dirtied in public view, something she would never forget.

"Yes, we Blind Spot Individuals are already a rejected group. If we also start undermining each other, I fear that even if a team had the potential to make it to the end, they would fall because of internal strife," Lei Shan said, quite cooperatively and loudly.

Their gazes lightly brushed across each other midair, both subtlety acknowledging the others’ intentions.

"Actually, our strengths are complementary," Li Chengyi earnestly said. "Our team has some advantages in terms of local intelligence and connections, but we are quite weak when it comes to strength. You two great teams from the Northern Shore Star and the Sea Wolves are far superior to us in that aspect. We could completely complement each other, join forces, and gain an edge over many other Blind Spot Teams."

"..."

"....."

Rainbow Candy and Dragon Gate Crane stood blank-faced, suppressing the tumult in their hearts.

God with the weak strength. How come you didn’t mention being weak when you were blowing up so many high-level full forms from Utopia and Noel Group?
