Chapter 234: Chapter 234

Lidia hopped off the bed she was sitting on, stretched her limbs, and called the others. "Gear up, girls. Tessa just informed me that Zion is fighting the Apostle of Cernunnos, and King Belwyn has declared war on us."

"Lidia, you do know we can speak to Tessa as well, right?" Ginger asked

"You know she’s a bit slow." Lacey giggled.

"Thank you for letting us know, Lidia." Aurora, the peacekeeper, thanked Lidia for her efforts.

Alice growled. "I dare them to lay a hand on me! I’ll suck all the blood out of their body!"

"You’ll suck what now?" Lidia asked

"Whoa there, Alice. I don’t think Zion will like you sucking someone that isn’t him." Lacey joked.

Alice blushed. "W-What! No! I mean their blood! I’m not gonna blow them off or anything! I only do that for Zi-" She paused, too embarrassed to continue.

"Huh? What was that? Please continue. Things were getting interesting."

"Shut up, Ginger!"

Aurora was quick to speak up. "It’s okay, Alice, you don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to."

Alice cried. "Thank you, Aurora, I can always rely on you."

"I didn’t know you were a pussy though." f.(r)eew ebnov\ll.com

Everyone froze. Aurora, the kind one. The one who didn’t like it when people got upset. The one who always advocated for peace just insulted Alice.

"OH SHIT!" Lidia yelled.

"Aurora?" Lacey questioned

"Way to go, girl! You’re just like me for real!" Ginger laughed

Alice fell to her knees. "How could you? I thought you were on my side."

"I like to spice things up here and there." Aurora chuckled.

Just then, someone knocked on each of their doors. The five girls stopped talking and focused on their current predicament.

"U-Um, l-ladies? Y-You were summoned to the Royal Conference room." A servant informed them.

Lidia opened the door to see a nervous lionkin in servant clothing in front of her door.

"Okay, thanks for letting us know. We’ll leave right away." She smiled, making the servant blush.

The other girls walked out of the room and followed the servant to the conference room.

When they entered, King Belwyn, Hollis, Tymir, Moss, and Ryl were all sitting down, waiting for them.

"Please, have a seat." Belwyn motioned to the open seats.

’Everyone. That wall behind the table is an illusion. There seemed to be a fight here. I’m guessing Zion and that other apostle started fighting here and destroyed that wall.’ Aurora informed everyone.

"Let’s cut to the chase," Lidia spoke up. "You probably want to use us as leverage to have over Zion, don’t you?"

"I don’t understand what you mean." Belwyn feigned ignorance. "Apostle Zion and Apostle Sylveth are currently talking about ways to merge our cultures."

Ginger bellowed with laughter.

Alice smirked.

Aurora frowned.

Lidia scoffed.

"King Belwyn, do you take us as fools?" Lacey asked directly.

"I don’t understand what you mean?"

"You think that we wouldn’t notice the fifty hidden soldiers standing around the room? I mean, we can see them as clear as day. So, what do you truly want from us?"

He sighed. "Get them." He ordered.

"Ginger," Lidia called out.

"On it!"

She stomped her foot, the ground cracking under the weight of it, and lightning crackled across the room like a storm. Every soldier was stunned in place, lightning coursing through their bodies that forced them from moving.

Their screams echoed through the room, and Belwyn and his advisors were caught off guard at the power these women possessed.

"Alice."

"Yeah, yeah. I already know what to do." A small drop of blood fell from her finger. As it touched the ground, it bounced around the entire room, hitting the ceiling, walls, and the ground again, repeating that motion as the drop got faster and faster.

Finally, the blood drop stopped, and each of the soldiers’ bodies was sliced into many pieces. It was an instant death to all of them.

"W-What happened? How did they do this?! What trickery did you use?!" Moss demanded.

"No trickery, just raw, unadulterated power!" Lidia’s eyes lashed red as her hair ignited. "Now, will you come for us? Or will we have to go to you?"

"My king?" The advisors asked

"Kill them." He ordered.

Moss charged first. He went for Aurora, but Ginger shoulder-charged him out of the way.

"You’re fighting me, big guy!" Grabbing the bearkin by the hair, she punched him into the air, kicked him forward, then zipped in front of him, slamming him back onto the ground.

"I’ll take the bird," Lacey said, already casting a spell.

"You will know your place, girl!" Hollis screeched.

"I already do, it’s with Zion." NovelFire

The two rose into the air, flying out of the hole that Ginger made when she attacked Moss.

"I guess I’ll take the fox." Aurora sighed. She didn’t really like getting into fights, but she knew she had no choice in this moment.

"Hehe, girl, you have no idea what you’re getting yourself into," Ryl smirked. He slashed the air, tearing a hole through space, and a phantom of death flew out of the crack. It wrapped around Aurora and dragged her down to the depths of hell.

"Now die."

"This is it?" Aurora snapped her fingers, and the entire space around them shattered. "An illusion? Phew, I was hoping you weren’t a combatant. I can fight you in my own style now."

She weaved intricate runic symbols onto the air, clasping her hands together, and forcefully teleported the two of them out of the room.

"Ugh, I guess I’ll fight that guy," Alice complained.

Tymir got angry. "How dare you insult-"

"Shut the fuck up." Alice turned into a swarm of bats and surrounded Tymir. She then transported him to another place where they could have their fight.

"And then there were two," Lidia smirked, looking at Belwyn.

"Listen, child. If you think that I’ll fight you, then you’re mistaken." He turned around to leave.

"Aw, man, I was hoping I would interest you. Oh well, guess I have to do this then."

She connected to the Zion Sky Network. "Heaven’s Bane, attack."

"What are you-"

*BOOM*

A loud explosion rocked the castle, and Belwyn ran to a window to see what was going on.

"What did you do?!" He demanded

"Do you seriously think only six of us came here? No, we have thousands of people on our side. And now, they’re tearing apart your precious kingdom."

"Fucking humans! You there, servant, tell the general to launch an attack on these invaders!"

"Y-Yes, sir!" The servant bolted out of there.

"Now, will you fight?" Lidia asked

"Fine, girl. I’ll entertain you."

"No, you won’t, but I will try to have as much fun as I can while we’re at it. Don’t disappoint me, ’kay?"
