Chapter 348: Depravita Seed

Chapter 348: Depravita Seed

A ripple of energy surged through the crowd as the soldiers straightened, their eyes lighting up with a newfound understanding. Naming the enemy gave them form—making them real and tangible. If an enemy had a name, they could be fought—they could be defeated!

Vlad continued, his voice strong and clear. "I have ventured deep into their territory and seen their core—a massive obelisk deep within the Monsoon Continent. It is heavily guarded, and millions of Leviathans stand between us and it. But if we can reach it, victory will be ours!"

The atmosphere shifted as soon as Vlad presented this clear path to victory. The soldiers, burdened by the sheer enormity of their task, now found themselves filled with renewed purpose. Broad smiles appeared on their faces, and they stood a little taller, reinvigorated by the possibility of success.

The path ahead was daunting, and many knew they might die in the quest. But now there was hope—hope that these monstrous creatures could be defeated, and that hope was enough to drive them forward.

"Xaos King! Xaos King!" The chant began low but quickly grew in volume as the Xaos forces rallied behind their leader. Even the Turkin soldiers, who refrained from joining out of respect for their own king, were filled with admiration for the man who had given them a path forward.

Vlad allowed a small smile to cross his face. The name "Leviathans" was one he had pulled from his past lives, an ancient name for creatures of destruction. Whether it was their true name or not didn’t matter. What mattered was that his people now had something concrete to rally against—something to fight with every ounce of their strength.

As for the core of the hive, the obelisk—Vlad had seen it with his own eyes. He was confident that it held the key to destroying the Leviathans and ending this war once and for all.

The soldiers’ morale was lifted, but Vlad knew that the road ahead would only become more challenging. The Leviathans were relentless, and this nightmare was far from over. As their leader, he needed to ensure that his strongest fighters were prepared for the coming battles and continued growing in strength.

His gaze sharpened as he surveyed the battlefield and focused on the strongest members of his forces. Activating the scanning powers of the A.I. Chip, Vlad started with Freya.

Vlad’s eyes widened in shock as the data streamed into his mind. He had sensed Freya’s growth from her powerful aura when he met her the day before, but seeing the raw numbers was a different experience altogether.

Not only had her levels risen, but the Viking princess had shattered through the Champion Tier and reached the Guardian Tier—an achievement few warriors could claim. The jump from Level 15 to 16 was notoriously difficult, requiring more energy than all the previous Champion levels combined. Her body had become a fortress of vitality and strength, enhanced in ways far beyond what could be quantified—her immune system, metabolism, and overall physical resilience had evolved to the next level.

Her rise to Guardian Tier was nothing short of astonishing, clearly fueled by the massive amounts of Origin Force she had absorbed from slaughtering countless Leviathans. This would give their forces a significant edge in the coming battles.

Satisfied with the results, Vlad turned his attention to Ouroboros, the fiendish werewolf, eager to see how he had fared.

A wave of surprise rippled through Vlad as he saw that Ouroboros’ body had also broken through the Champion Tier and entered the Guardian Tier. Likely, Ouroboros relied on his unique ability to devour the flesh of his enemies to accelerate his growth. Vlad imagined the werewolf had feasted on every Leviathan warrior they encountered, absorbing their power to fuel his rapid advancement.

As the Depravita of Greed, Ouroboros had a natural affinity for consuming and integrating the strength of his foes. The ocean of Origin Force they had encountered, combined with his innate abilities, had given him the sustenance needed to break his limits.

Finally, Vlad turned his gaze toward Jormungandr, the small yellow cat who had surprised him time and time again. Vlad was curious to see how the mage had progressed after the intense battle.

A frown creased Vlad’s brow as he reviewed Jormungandr’s data. While his energy levels had advanced impressively, reaching Level 13, his physical stats lagged far behind the others. Mages typically focused more on their energy pools than their bodies, but a stronger physical form would still grant Jormungandr better endurance, speed, and survivability—critical factors in any prolonged conflict.

However, Vlad’s concerns were quickly alleviated as more information filtered through the A.I. Chip.

Vlad’s eyes widened in awe at the revelation. Jormungandr, despite his lagging physical stats, was on the verge of a monumental transformation. The awakening of his Depravita Seed was the key to becoming a True Depravita, an evolution that would grant him an immortal body that far surpassed the limitations of mere flesh.

This discovery filled Vlad with renewed hope. Jormungandr’s evolution would be a significant boon to their forces, further solidifying their chances against the Leviathans.
