Vlad signaled for the battalion to take care of the demonic beasts’ corpses, burning them so they could not spread infection or alter the flow of energy in the area, before walking toward Ouroboros. It had been less than ten minutes since the fight ended, but the Depravita of Greed looked much better, as the Origin Force had helped his energy pool, and the meat and blood of the High Champion Monster Elephant healed his wounds.

"Are you ready?" Vlad asked with a calm smile on his face. Now that they had sealed a High Champion Abyssal’s soul, it was time for Ouroboros to become a Demon Soul Master.

The Depravita of Greed was still very tired, but he had recovered enough energy and was eager to obtain the new power, so without hesitation, he nodded while reverting to his original form.

Vlad could not help but find it odd to see how that massive and imposing fiendish werewolf transformed into a smiling wolf the next second, but did not delay things and very carefully adjusted the Demonblood Ironhide Runic Set, leaving the area above the heart empty.

After finishing with the modification of the Runic Set and making sure it did not lose any of its power, Vlad engraved the Demon Cage Runic Formation in Ouroboros’ body. He had engraved the runic formation several hundred times already, so it took a few minutes to complete it, and Ouroboros barely felt it.

However, the Depravita of Greed knew that the painful part would be the next one. He took a deep breath and calmed his body and mind before activating the parchment, making black tendrils charge into his chest, carrying with them the essence of the High Champion Abyssal.

It was excruciating pain, as it felt like molten iron was being infused into his bloodstream, but Ouroboros made sure not to move his body and kept focus at all times, not doing anything that could affect the integration of the High Champion Demon Soul.

Once the integration was finally completed, Ouroboros’ face was pale and full of cold sweat, yet soon a wide smile appeared on his face as he felt the new power coursing through his veins, filling his flesh, blood, and soul with new power.

Ouroboros could not contain his excitement as he focused, drawing the power of the Demon Cage Runic Formation, and a dark aura covered his body. The next second he began to dash from one direction to the other at a simply shocking speed, and it seemed that the High Champion Abyssal Demon’s soul had granted him enhanced speed and dexterity.

"Great. This is awesome!" The white wolf could not help but exclaim with thrill as the enhanced demonic speed and dexterity were perfect for him, as they suited his battle style flawlessly.

Vlad was very happy with the enhancement that Ouroboros obtained, but a sharp gaze appeared in his eyes the next second, drawing the focus of the white wolf. "Ouroboros, you will now head to Nagan Mountain and use the Molten Demonblood Essence pool to improve your Depravita Constitution and awaken your Depravita Sky."

A solemn expression appeared on Ouroboros as he heard those words. His A.I. Chip had already given him a clear guide to his Depravita Path, and he knew very well the importance of enhancing his Depravita Constitution and the massive milestone that was awakening his Depravita Sky.

However, Ouroboros could not help but frown as he gazed at the Royal Guards and the battalion. While awakening his Depravita Sky was very important, he did not feel good leaving the rest of the forces alone in a place as dangerous as Knight City.

Vlad could see the thoughts crossing Ouroboros’ mind and patted the wolf with a smile. "Don’t worry about them. I will remain in Knight City while we take down all the threats before guiding them back toward Inkmetal City when the time is right."

Upon hearing those words, Ouroboros smiled, and all his concern vanished. He performed a deep bow toward Vlad, and a sharp light appeared in his eyes. "I will make sure to be ready for your summon, Master!"

Vlad’s smile widened as he saw the determination and conviction in the eyes of the Depravita of Greed. It was clear that the past months in Knight City had forged his willpower into a substance harder than diamond. Without further delay, he handed over the parchment containing the demon crow’s soul.

Ouroboros activated the parchment and summoned the dark crow before jumping on it and rising to the sky, vanishing in the distance the next second.

Once everybody had adapted to their new power and class, Vlad raised his hand and clenched his fist. That signal was enough for the Royal Guards and battalion to adopt a flawless formation, their eyes sharp and full of focus as they waited for his command.

"We will start to hunt every single demon horde in Knight City. All of you will be transformed into Demon Soul Masters, and we will cleanse any possible threat to Xaos City." Vlad’s eyes were sharp, and his voice carried a powerful intent that ignited the fighting will and killing intent in the warriors.

Normally, it was Overlord who took care of the plans, but Vlad chose to take the mantle himself this time, as he would soon be leading these men into a much more dangerous battlefield where the A.I. Chip Clone might not help them.
