"You do not have to," said Xavier.

He was capable of taking care of it once Selene was gone.

Selene continued as she pleased. "I might not be as experienced as you but I can certainly lend a hand when my husband is like this. Weren’t you the one who hinted at this last time?"

Xavier remembered the time she spoke of. He had been teasing her then but who would have expected it to help him now?

Xavier stood still, his hands placed beside Selene to be out of the way to let her take the lead.

If Selene wanted to back out, Xavier would not think anything of it.

"You do not need to force yourself to please me," Xavier said after she freed him from the confines of his pants.

Selene was still, frozen like she was backing out on her decision.

Selene helping to unbutton his pants and staring at his exposed body was more than enough to start helping his current problem.

"Selene-"

Xavier was interrupted by her looking up at him with wide eyes. There was some fear but a little bit of curiosity.

Selene opened her mouth to speak but then covered her face with her hand.

"I do not understand what happened here," Xavier said, puzzled. He never got this reaction before.

Selene’s reaction made him take a second look at himself. It couldn’t be that she thought he was small.

Selene knew there needed to be more urgency to help Xavier but she was not over the thoughts which filled her mind.

It was good he had not decided to go any further today.

"Oh," she heard from Xavier like he had caught on to what was going through her mind. "It will be fine."

"That is easy for you to say. You’re not the one who has to face this," Selene grabbed him but not in a way she could hurt him. It might not be what he meant but Selene truly believed she would not last when it came time for them to make love as Xavier said.

"All you have done is hold it. I have never hurt anyone. Should I prove it now?" Xavier asked, reaching for her leg.

Selene swatted his hand away from her. "No, you do not need to prove it. Something terrible could have happened here today," she said, relieved she knew what to expect in the future.

"Terrible?" Xavier repeated.

"I didn’t mean it like that. I know what must be done but how to do it to your liking is something I need help with," Selene said, returning her attention to the task at hand.

Selene held him once more, feeling his warmth and grasping the size of it.

"You are handling this quite well."

Selene moved her hand just as the women in her past instructed her to. Back then, Selene wondered why they were so hellbent to tell her about their experiences but little did she know they had been preparing her.

"Our kind is not shy about these kinds of acts and I have been unfortunate to witness a few naked men," Selene shared.

"Lovers? Or did someone try to convince you to lie with them? Like this," Xavier placed his hand over Selene’s to guide her.

"Neither. I attend events where the parties were very...open," Selene thought was the best word. "I did not engage in it but I did not judge them."

Selene was grateful for their talk as she pleased him because she was still stuck on one day having him inside of her. It was a blessing that her body was able to heal quickly.

"Selene."

Selene looked up because of the deepness of his voice. She now noticed how tense his jaw was. She was too distracted. She needed to give it her all just as he had done for her.

Xavier reacted in ways to let her know he enjoyed it but she was curious if there was more she could do.

’Should I use my mouth now?’ Selene wondered.

The way they were positioned now would make it hard for her to use her mouth so Selene asked, "It would be more comfortable on my knees to use my mouth. Xavier!" She gasped, surprised by the mess he made on her hands.

Selene wanted to question why he didn’t give her any warning to pull away but judging from his face, she realised he had also not expected it.

Was it because of what she said or had he been holding back too long?

Regardless of what caused it, Selene was happy to have helped him. She looked around the library which wasn’t so innocent anymore. "We must get out of here. We overstayed our welcome."

"It is our home," Xavier reminded Selene.

"Yes, but I cannot help thinking we have ruined this innocent room. It is for reading but look at what we have done. I must go," Selene said, continuing to tidy her appearance.

Agnes had to be waiting for her and there was something she wanted to speak about with the head maid.

"Relax," Xavier touched her shoulders. "How about we spoil all the other rooms so this one feels better?"

Selene couldn’t believe the plan he came up with. "You never fail to amaze me. Please help me with my dress. I will need to change,’ she said, wiping her hand in her dress since she had nothing else to use.

"It is quite normal for a husband and wife to enjoy each other’s company. The servants will understand," said Xavier.

"I know that. I don’t mind if they know but I always want my appearance to be decent before them since I am the lady of the estate. I always want to present myself in a good manner and leave this side to you," Selene explained.

Selene got down from the table and dressed herself as best as she could. Her garments weren’t on the best but she could make it to their bedroom to get dressed with Agnes’s help. "You are not getting dressed," she noticed. "Are you staying here?"

"No," Xavier replied, buttoning his pants. He didn’t bother to search for the shirt he tossed to the side and started to walk to the door but Selene blocked his path.

"No! You cannot go out like this. When you are fully dressed you distract the maids. If you go out like this then they won’t be able to work in their right minds for hours," said Selene.

Xavier smiled. "You want to keep this to yourself."

"Unless you want me to throw away everything I said and walk outside with my dress as it was before for your guards to see then I suggest you find your shirt," Selene fought fire with fire.

Xavier wasn’t amused. "You wouldn’t."

Selene loosened the string she had so perfectly tied at the front of her dress and turned around to exit the room but Xavier’s hand on the door wouldn’t allow it to open. He was so quick that Selene hadn’t heard when he moved.

"Two can always play these games," said Selene.

"Go ahead and play them if you want the guards to lose their lives. I will get the shirt," Xavier decided.

"Good," Selene turned around to face him. "If you had done that from the start then we wouldn’t need to go so far."

"There is something I want to ask but it must wait for when no one can hear us. Remind me tonight when we are alone. I must get changed and get what I planned for the day done but I will try to see you before dinner," Selene said, letting it be known she wouldn’t avoid him after this.

Selene hesitated at first but in the end, kissed Xavier goodbye. She turned away from him to leave before they might end up staying longer in the library.
