Selene couldn’t believe her predicament. When the day started, it was never in the cards that she would be lying on a table in this small library room, almost fully undressed, with Xavier placing his head between her legs.

Selene tried to stop him from doing what she knew he intended to do but was told to leave him be.

Now she found herself with her back arched as Xavier treated her like she was some delightful treat.

Selene bit her lip to silence the sounds trying to leave her mouth. Someone was bound to hear them in an estate filled with only vampires.

Blood trickled from her bruised lips where her fangs pierced her. The pain was easy to put up with since the wounds healed as quickly as she made them.

"Xavier," Selene gasped, his name slipping through her lips.

He had done it on purpose. She knew he did.

The sly smile when he showed his face told her that he did. His tongue surprised her and led to her undoing.

"I quite like this sight," Xavier said, running his thumb across his lip before placing it in his mouth to taste the last of her. "You are as sweet as I knew you would be."

Xavier enjoyed the way she stared at him like she was ready to scold him. Her chest was still exposed to him which added to the wonderful sight before him. He suddenly had an interest in paintings.

"What is it with men when it comes to women’s chests? It is not that exciting," Selene said as composed herself. "Why must you- That hurts!"

"Your face said otherwise," Xavier replied, choosing to believe her body. "Let me taste here," he said, leaning down to kiss her right breast.

If Selene wasn’t careful, she was going to end up his next meal.

Selene shuddered when he bit her and his hand gripped her thigh at the same time. He seemed quite knowledgeable on where to touch to get a response from her body.

This was dangerous.

Too dangerous.

The slightest touch from Xavier sent a sensation throughout her body and he was not yet inside of her. This was merely the start and she was folding before him.

If she wasn’t careful, he could get her to say anything in this moment but the question still remained, how far were they going right now?

"Xavier," Selene found her voice again.

His mouth was preoccupied with her chest so she didn’t expect an answer but he gave her one.

"Yes?"

"Are we going further now?" Selene asked. It was strange for her to hear these words leaving her mouth, especially regarding Xavier.

Xavier leaned back so he could see her face better. "No," he answered, immediately seeing her disappointment. "As much as I would love to have you here and now, we both know it isn’t the right time. This is an uncomfortable place for what I assume will be your first and I don’t just want to be intimate with you. I would like to make love to you."

Xavier gently pressed his right hand against her stomach, unknowingly creating a fluttery feeling for Selene. "I will ease you up to it because once I have you, you are done for."

Seleen frowned. "What?"

Xavier smiled in response. He helped her to sit up and tidy her appearance.

"Do not leave me without an answer. What do you mean?" Selene asked, the warmth in her cheeks coming from the thoughts she had.

There was one answer she had for what he meant but she wanted to hear it from him.

Xavier knew Selene was smart to catch on to what he meant. He planned to have more of these moments before having her completely. By that time, Selene should be more comfortable with him and have her feelings sorted.

Xavier knew that Selene liked him, to say the least, but he needed to hear it from her. She needed to show that she was truly ready to move on from the hurt she experienced in her last marriage.

Xavier kissed her cheek while she was lost in thought. "I shall be a gentleman and have our first time better than this. A stuffy library isn’t ideal."

"Whoever said I cared for overly romantic things?" Selene replied.

"I have watched you to notice you care for it. I will treat you as you deserve to be treated but seeing that you aren’t satisfied," Xavier said, letting his hand finish for him.

Selene gripped his arm when his hand once again settled between her legs. "Wait!"

"Weren’t you just the impatient one?" Xavier asked, loving the way she crumbled before him.

He should be the only one to see this side of her.

While he loved seeing her fiery side it was good to see when she melted in his arms as she did now. It created a problem he needed to fix in his pants but he tried not to bring attention to it to worry Selene.

Selene first felt a slight pain when his fingers entered her but he managed to make it more enjoyable for her. How much was he planning to have her spoil in this room?

When their eyes met, Selene could do nothing about his smug smile. He earned the right to smile as he did now.

Selene patted his shoulder to stop him since she could not bear it any longer.

"Should I change my plan and put it in now?" Xavier whispered in her ear. "You are already for me."

Selene rapidly shook her head. She understood now why he was taking it slow with her. He had not given her enough time to get over his mouth devouring her and now his fingers were there. "I get it," she cried out.

His laughter added to her demise.

Xavier felt for her but could not stop until she was done. After this, her dress certainly needed to be changed. Would she be so bold to enter the bathing chamber with him?

Xavier was too excited for what would come after how close they became today. At this rate, he was once again going to ruin his plans to go slow.

Selene’s nails dug into his skin but Xavier paid no mind to it. He questioned himself for finding it more pleasurable than painful.

Selene rested her head on his chest as he removed his fingers. He wasn’t inside her long but the second his fingers left her, it felt like she was missing something.

"Most don’t know how to pleasure each other well and jump to the last step. Trust me, Selene."

Xavier kissed her forehead as he placed his hands on her lower back.

Selene looked down after feeling something hard against her leg. She knew immediately what it was. "Isn’t that uncomfortable for you?"

"It is," Xavier honestly replied.

In the vampire world, Selene believed that no one was completely innocent when it came to intimacy even if they had never shared a bed with someone because many spoke openly about their experiences and desires.

Long before Selene had gotten married, she was dragged into conversations about what to do with a man and even a woman. Nothing was left out.

So it wouldn’t all be about her, Selene started to unbutton his pants.
