Xia Ni was cultivating when he sensed someone approaching. Given his status as emperor, few dared to enter directly, so it was likely a friend.

He paused his cultivation and asked:

"Who’s there?"

"It’s me. It seems you’ve recovered quite well." Jun Wu Xiao said.

Seeing it was him, Xia Ni finally breathed a sigh of relief. He said:

"I have a favor to ask regarding the monster cores. By the way, where are the monster cores in the capital now?"

"Could you help me gather all the monster cores and then take them to the Kunlun mountains to guard them?"

Therefore, I think it’s best to gather them all in the Kunlun mountains. You can guard them there, and since there are no ordinary people living there, it will be safer."

Xia Ni considered the positions of the other continents for a moment and then said:

"They’re not in the sea but on the three other continents. You should find the others and have them guard the edges of the continents to the east, west, and south. But don’t venture into those continents, just guard the coastlines. I believe the monsters will hunt any humans near them, and once they run out of targets, they will head straight for our continent."

Jun Wu Xiao furrowed his brows, not fully understanding the other continents but realizing that Xia Ni had given up on the people there. He asked:

"Are you abandoning the people on those three continents?"

Xia Ni didn’t hesitate and immediately nodded, sighing:

"Haiz... The total population on those three continents is currently about one hundred million, but our continent has up to one billion two hundred million people. Moreover, I know you’re not good at fighting underwater, and the ocean is much larger than the land. After finishing his conversation with Xia Ni, Jun Wu Xiao went to see Yue Guang. Yue Guang asked:

"Is it you?"

She could guess it was him, purely out of intuition. After all, they had spent a long time together. "Yes, it’s me. Do you want to return to the Kunlun mountains? I’ll take you back. It’s more spacious there." Jun Wu Xiao said.

Yue Guang nodded, but then she suddenly asked:

"Do I look very ugly now?"

"Then carry me on your back to the Kunlun mountains." Yue Guang said.

Jun Wu Xiao then let her climb onto his back and carried her as he ran towards the Kunlun mountains.
