Ellen Young indeed didn’t care whether he returned or not, and it was only later that Ruffy Smith realized he had overthought the decision to stay.

The master bedroom where Ellen stayed was a vast distance away from the secondary bedroom, separated by at least three walls.

Sometimes a big house is not necessarily a good thing.

Ruffy spent the night pondering this matter until he fell asleep in bed.

Now even if he sat up in bed and called out for Ellen, he could shout himself hoarse and she wouldn’t hear him.

Ellen didn’t keep her visit to Andalu a secret from the school’s administration, but she only notified the principal.

The principal naturally welcomed Ellen’s unexpected visit, but he was puzzled about the reason for her arrival, not having heard of any events recently. Although wanting to ask Ellen to give a talk, he knew she generally declined such requests, so the principal of Andalu didn’t give it much thought.

This time, Ellen’s initiative to visit was truly beyond his expectations and made him very happy.

When Ellen arrived at Andalu, she did so discreetly; her car drove directly to the principal’s office. The students of Andalu University were used to the occasional visit by dignitaries and paid no mind to the vehicles entering the school.

By the time Ellen got out of the car, Principal Lynch, who had been waiting for a while, approached with a face full of genuine, warm smiles, "Scholar Young, welcome, welcome!"

Ellen extended her hand for a shake, and with a slight smile on her lips, she said, "Principal Lynch, hello."

The current principal of Andalu University was a Mr. Lynch, who also held other positions and was always busy. If it weren’t for Ellen’s scheduled visit today, he wouldn’t have come in person.

"Hello, hello, let’s go up and talk," he suggested.

Despite Ellen’s young age, none in the academic circles dared to look down upon her, not even having the courage to do so. Principal Lynch treated her with the same attention and courtesy he reserved for other leaders, his official rhetoric warm and filled with various greetings, "Scholar Young, are you here to inspect our school today?"

Andalu has its teaching methods; there’s no need for me to inspect them. Today, I am indeed here for an important matter, and I hope you’re prepared, Principal Lynch."

If she hadn’t added that last line, Principal Lynch might still think it was good news.

Ellen Young spoke plainly, without beating around the bush, so Principal Lynch caught on right away.

He had a bad feeling and, after leading Ellen to his office and dismissing everyone else, poured her a glass of water. She sat on the sofa while he asked hesitantly, "Scholar Young, has something happened?"

After all, Ellen usually didn’t have much interaction with Andalu, so her arrival surely meant something significant.
