Ellen pondered for a moment and analysed, "Since he just sent a forged record and now deactivated our forum accounts, we’ve lost our original evidence. The remaining screenshots can be claimed as forgeries by him. I estimate his next move will still be to come forward and clarify the situation. He seems to be a bit of a celebrity in short videos. He will probably do the clarification himself and then continue to pin the blame on us. Let’s not rush; this will be over in a couple of days at most."

Not to mention, it was impossible to trace back any connections, and the number was provided from above, containing no personal information about her. So, even if they had the cellphone number, they would not be able to find Ellen’s real information.

If they could have, Theodore Hailey would be washing his neck clean and thinking about how he would die, rather than jumping around denying everything.
