Ruffy Smith had already reached the ward, and the girl behind him had caught up.

"Geoffrey!"

Perhaps it was this unusual commotion, or the fact that she had approached Ellen Young’s action radius, that led to a Special Forces Team member intercepting her.

Only then did Ruffy Smith turn around and see that it was the girl he had incidentally bumped into a moment ago, and he frowned slightly.

Seeing him turn around, the girl’s expression brightened with joy, and a delighted smile spread across her pale face: "Geoffrey!"

New understanding dawned on everyone when she called out to Ruffy Smith with that name.

She was wearing a hospital gown, obviously a patient. Ruffy Smith gave her a brief look and said dispassionately, "You’ve mistaken me for someone else."

Then, without paying her any more attention, he went straight into the ward.

At that moment, Ellen Young had already met with the photographer who was flattered and kept saying it was his duty, that it was good Lucy Wood was not in trouble, and that there hadn’t been anything dangerous present. His injury from being scratched by the shrub was so minor it was hardly worth mentioning.

As Ellen Young turned to leave, Ruffy Smith paused and with a hint of a smile asked, "All done?"

Ellen Young looked at him somewhat strangely, "Hmm... "

She had only responded when a particularly excited voice came from outside the ward: "Geoffrey, Geoffrey!"

"Miss, I’m sorry, but you can’t come close here. Are you a relative of the patient inside?"

"Miss, please don’t go over there."

Ellen was taken aback by these voices. She stepped out of the ward’s door and saw a girl in a hospital gown trying to force her way over.

The Special Forces Team members didn’t know who she was, so of course, they stopped her.

The girl’s gaze shifted towards Ellen Young’s silhouette, who was standing with Ruffy Smith. Ellen Young turned back and asked, "Someone here for you?"

"I don’t know her," Ruffy Smith said, his eyes darkening as he looked at the girl: "She’s mistaken me for someone else, keeps calling me Geoffrey."

"You are Geoffrey!"

The girl shouted at Ruffy Smith with great agitation, still trying to make her way to him.

But the Special Forces Team members held her back, and in her urgency, she extended her hand to grab one of them.

The Team member was not about to be courteous with her; any less polite and it would have been taken as an assault. They immediately restrained her, regardless of whether she was a patient, their expressions unfriendly: "Miss, your behavior is out of line."

Some things are not for public disclosure, but understanding is enough.

As they restrained the girl, they drew the attention of others in the hospital. An elegantly dressed couple hurried over, and upon seeing the girl being restrained, their expressions changed: "Roxanne!"

"Who are you? Let go of my Roxanne now, what are you doing?"

The two rushed forward and started pulling at the team members, who then released the girl, their expressions serious: "She was trying to get past us. We do not allow any strangers near Scholar Young."

Others were watching, and while some didn’t recognize Ellen Young, others did.

Recognizing Ellen Young led them to a realization: indeed, her high-profile status warranted such protection.

"What Scholar Young, what are you acting up for here—"

The woman from the couple spoke, and when her gaze fell upon Ellen Young and Ruffy Smith, she paused.

"Geoffrey..."

The girl, now released, still wanted to come forward, but Ruffy Smith was utterly impatient and looked at her with disgust. He bent down and said to Ellen Young, "Let’s go. Staying here will only cause misunderstandings."

Ellen Young nodded, signaled to the Special Forces Team to handle the situation, and left with Ruffy Smith.
