One thing was obvious though and that is Raffaele Vincenti avoiding Bella.

Apart from when he had woken up and was supposedly on the effect of drugs, he hadnt bothered to talk to her again after waking up and instead choose to lie down after his talk with bis siblings.

He had instructed Emiliano to go call Draven as according to him they had a meeting.

"Get me something to wear" Raffaele tells Emiliano who stares at his older brother like he has finally lost it.

"What do you mean" Emiliano asks Raffaele with a confused look on his face.

Raffaele glares at Emiliano.

"Get me clothes to change into" Raffaele says albiet this time slowly so that his daft brother understands as he is sure a repeat is not what he wants.

"I...." Raffaele doesnt let Emiliano finish and throws him a very fieece glare.

"Are you perphaps deaf" Raffaele growls out, visibly angry now and Emiliano swallows thickly before turning on his heels to step out.

Angel smiles smugly at that and follows behind Emiliano.

Bella sits on the bed and stares at Raffaele who has not so much as said a word to her and her mind wonders to his previous behaviour when he had woken up.

Maybe she has become so used to him paying attention to everything that concerns her, souch more that now that he isnt giving hee the much needed attention, she finds herself extremely sad.

She peers at him through her lashes hoping he will say anything but the man just shuts up his hand covering half his face.

Slowly she raises her hand to touch his shoulder.

"Raffaele" Bella calls out softly his shoulders immediately becomes tense and he slowly peels hsi eyes open.

He stares at her not sayi g anything as he waits for her to voice her reason for calling out his name and when she doesnt say anything even after staring at him for sometime he shuts his eyes.

Tears well up in her eyes and she sucks in a harsh breath before slowly standing up from the bed and making her way out to the sitting area.

Just as she gets there, she sees Nathan sitting there with glasses percehed on his nose as he looks through some files.

"Bells" Nathan calls out softly when he sees Bella with a small kind smile stretched on his lips.

Bella returnsthe smile with one of her own as she goes to sit beside him on the couch.

"Where is Emi" She asks after Emilia with a small voice.

At the mention of his wife’s name a small smile appears on Nathan’s lips a fond expression on his face.

"She went out with Angel, something about needing to buy someyhings" He says and shrugs his shoulders at the end.

A giggle escapes Bella’s lips at his words as she shakes her head.

Leave it to Angel to find evry excuse on earth just to spend money.

"So what are you doing" Bella says using her eyes to gesture to the files now spread out on the small coffee table in front of him.

"Helping Raf with some office work" Nathan says and Bella nods her head befor epicking up a file.

She picks up one and starts leisurely looking through it.

"Want to help" Nathan asks with a cheeky smile as he sees the confused yet adorable look on her face as she stares at the file in hand.

She turns to face him her face schrunched up as she stares wt his face before her gaze moves back to the paper.

"Never" Bella says like its a crime and Nathan throws his head back in laughter.

"Really, you dont like business this much" Nathan questions and Bella shakes her head quickly.

"Not that but when I am not the one doing it and its someone else" Bella says and Nathan nods his head slowly with a small smile.

"So what are you studying" Nathan asks and Bella grins widely at his words.

"I.its a secret" Bella says with a shrug of her own and a grin and Nathan narrows his eyes teasingly.

"Hmm..Tell me why is it such a secret" Nathan says indulging her and she giggles before arranging her sitting position and turning to face him now.

"Nope, you’d have to pay to find out" Bella says and Nathan raises a brow.

"Ten thousand" Bella says in one goal.

"Pass" The moment the words escape his lips she gapes at him surprised.

"What do you mean " Folding her hands across her chest she fixes him with her stare.

" Well I am a business man and one that knows how to manage his funds at that so except something is worth the investment I dont" He finsishes and by he ned of his words, Bella gasps before rsising her hand to hit his chest playfully.

"Did you jist say my dreams arent worth anything?" The way the hurt in her voice is obvious and she goes as far as pouting her lips childishly.

Nthan throws his head back as laughter bubbles out of him before his hand shoots out to poke her cheeks.

"Calm down angry cat, I never said that" He says to which the look Bella has been passimg him intensifies and he just returns it with a grin of his own.

Standing up from the chair he makes his way towards the mini fridge before bringing out two medium plastic cups.

She takes the one which he has outstretched towards her and when she sees what is inside her eyes widen as they instantly light up.

"Ice cream" Bella squeals and briefly hugs Nathan before sitting down to start devouring the ice cream.

She says sometjing with her mouth filled with ice cream and Nathan stares at her with furrowed brows.

When he shakes his head to indicate he doesnt understand her, she rolls her eyes but none the less speaks.

"So how did you fall for Emilia, I love love stories so tell me in full details" Bella says with a wide grin on her face as she readily waits for him to tell her.

"Hmm, its expensive" Nathan says as he pretends like he is thinking hard before telling her it’s expensive just like she has said and returns her words right back at her.

Bella rolls her eyes at him and playfully punches his arm as she glares at him.

"Please" She says with a little pout and gives him the eyes she is sure nobody can resist.

Raffaele has forever been a victim to those eyes and not only him but the parents and everybody around her too.

Nathan stares at her face and he could really understand why every one is smitten by the little girl and how his friend is head over heels for her.

"I’ll tell you another day besides I think it’ll be more fun if my baby is here then she can assist me and that will make it a whole lot romantic" Nathan says with a look of admiration and Bella coos as she giggles lightly.

"Ohk so the birth of my champ" Bella says and at the mention of his son his eyes soften and seems to cloud over like he is reminiscing what happened, the memory fresh in his head.

"I swear it was just like yesterday and now seeing him all grown up I stare at him in wonder" Nathan begins the smile never leaving his face as he continues speaking.

"When Mimi had been pregnant for him we were having this stupid fight and she did not know she was with a child, everything came down to the day we were both arguing till she dropped, my heart dropped too and I did not even know where the tears came from but I was screaming for her to wake up while taking her to the hospital and it was only after the doctor told us the news that I cried holding my wife close to my chest. Then his birth, I was so scared to hold him and was trembling" At the mention of the birth of his son, Nathan chuckles and raises both hands, open in a gesture like he is about to hold something.

His hand trembles and he let’s out a little laugh at that as to him it still feels like he is holding his son for the first time or looking at him for the first time.

Bella stares at him, and she doesnt realise she is crying till the first drop of tears touches her hand.

"Hey, what happened" Nathan asks softly when he sees the tears falling from her eyes and he quickly moves towards her to wipe the tears away from her eyes.

"Why are you crying little beauty" Nathan asks her softly.

"I.....it’s just, you are a good man and I miss my dad" She says hoarsely and Nathan smiles at her words.

He says some soothing words before raising his hand to ruffle her hair.

"Hey" Bella calls out swatting his hand away and Nathan chuckles before handing her a tissue.
