Chapter 71: Chapter 70: Shrek

Bella’s pov

The snubbish rich looking lady looks at me her eyes daring as she stares at everything I do with a look of disgust.

A snort escapes my lips at that and I don’t bother paying her any mind and instead focus my attention on what I am eating.

"Where is Raffaele" She questions with arrogance and I decide it’s best to just ignore heer.

I hear her ask the same question again but decide to just ignore the ass.

Focusing my attention on the movie I am busy watching, a small laugh bubbles out of my mouth at the funny scene that just happens.

Thank God she decided to keep queit as I enjoy my own company just fine.

The door to the office is opened and Raffaele steps in.

She doesn’t waste anytime and stands up quickly to go to him.

Opening her arms wide she envelops him in a hug, each step precise and ladylike.

"Raff" She calls out sweetly while Raffaele pats her back slightly.

"Fiona" Raffaele calls out starring at her with a small smile.

She beams at that and turns to face me while wrapping her slender long arms around him.

"How have ypu been?. Ive missed you" She says and I almost roll my eyes, her voice is now sweet completely different from how it sounded before.

Raffaele replies to that and untangles her arm from his.

"Yo Bells" Emiliano’s voice rings out from the doorway as he enters the office but stops at the sight of her.

"Shrek" Emiliano calls out a frown on his face and the rich lady scrunches her face as she glares at him.

I almost laugh at the name but stop myself and just stare at Emiliano in amusement.

"What are you doing here" He doesn’t wait for her to reply as he is already making his way towards where I am sitting with a smile on his face.

"Oh Emiliano" She calls out abd I am guessing her voice is meant to sound sweet from how thin it is and I just roll my eyes.

"You are back" I say instead standibg up from the chair when I see Raffaele making his way towards it.

Not waiting he sits on the chair and drags my body with his before placing kiss on my neck.

With a smile stretched on my lips I look up to see Miss shrek fuming.

’Ohk, this is a fun way to start your day’.

"I want to go to Anna" I say to Raffaele who is now spotting a frown on his face at my words.

I stare at him and try to widen my eyes in order to bride him into agreeing.

It seems to work out just fine as he nods his head at my words.

Standing up, I am about to walk away when I feel a sting on my ass and I yelp.

"Raffaele" I call out mortified and turn to glare at him only to see a smirk on both their lips.

"Baby" He calls an innocent look on his fsce.

I shake my head at him and after a small wave towards Emiliano, I head out the door and turn just in time to see miss shrek glaring at me.

Skipping towards Anna’s office I start humming songs to myself.

I stop just before the door as I see Ava on the other side having a phone call with a worried expression on her face.

She is busy pacing and whispering into the phone and that has my brows furrowed in confusion.

I shrug my shoulder, deciding to mind my business and instead open Anna’s door to see her concentrated and busy on her laptop.

"Anniieee" I yell out in excitement as I race towards Anna who is nowstarring at me with a wide smile stretched on her lips.

"Belllssss" She calls out in equal excitement and quickly stands up from her chair to cone hug me.

"Don’t yoyu get tired of working" I question and just sit directly on her desk as I feel too lazy to sit anywhere else.

"What can I say, I like money and this keeps me rich" she.gestures to the office annd I laugh at that.

"I heard there is a certain miss shrek in Raffaele’s office" Anna asks with raised brows while starrimg at me and I laugh at her worfs

"And who told you that?" I question making my way to the couch to lie doewn while facing her and ready for all the gossip in the universe.

She waves her phone in my direction and the name I see makees me roll my eyes but with a giddy expression on my face.

"Ohhh, now gossip buddies I see" I tell her with a teasing smile and I watch how thee Anna fights back a blush while lowering hwer phone.

"It’s just-" she clears her throat unable to continue when I suddenly let out a loud squeal and rush towards her desk to sit on it.

"You guys are dating?" I question and she shrugs at that, tring to keep her face neutaral.

"Please say something Anna" I question eager.

Never in my wildest dreams have I ever thought there would be a thing between Anna and Emiliano.

Sure he fliets with her but she always brushes it off or glares at him to stop .

I have been around them and though sometimes they have this kind of tension around them it is easily cleared and soon they are lightly joking around so I am still surprised.

"Well, it all started with an accidental one night stand*squeal*" She glares at me the moment the sound escapes my lips and I quickly raise my hand in surrender while apologizing to her.

"Sorry I usually read books like that" I say with a small smile and she smiles but continues.

"Went to a yeatch party when I traveled for holiday and we met and it just kind of happened" She explains with a shrug.

"I stayed, he made breakfast and we talked about the night being just for that one time and thar we are still cool, then we started becoming more like friends and that is when this stupid tense atmosphere formed and one thing led to another he kissed me and it led to a night together but I brushed it off and decided to stay away" Anna continues " Then he saw me with this guy and you know mafia men and acting all posesdive, it pissed me off to no end as I live with one snd we had like this massive fight where I had to leave and that was like it. It was months later we saw each other and before then I’d always see the news of him living his player life and enjoying life and honestly it stung but I sucked it up and recently when he arrived he just acted different and that night at the restuarant we may or may have not gotten into his bed and that leads us here" She finishes in one breathe and I mentally commend myself for picking up each word she has been saying without missing or skipping a beat at that.

"Wow, so are you guys like dating now?" I question and she smiles at that before shrugging.

"Nope more like just ehm-being there and getting to know each other well enough" Wiggling her brows at the end of her sentence, I understand what she means and that has me scrunching my face as I glare at her.

"Seriously, why don’t you guys start dating" I ask seeing as it is evidebt they like each other and dating will save them alot of stress.

Why just be there with someone you clearly like? I am still puzzled by the way some people do things or think to be honest.

"Ion know but what I do know is he is not tired od being a player and I am not about to force a person to change their life for me" There again with being selfless and thinking about another person.

"I have an idea" I say, jumping from her desk and sprinting towards her.

I don’t wait for her to question me before leaning towards her ear to tell herr about my idea

She listens and when I am done she passes me a look of amusement.

"Do you want to know why everybody loves you?" She says out of the blue but her question has me shaking my head.

"Because you are so nice and inocent and the world hardly has people like ypu anymore making you a gem, this is why Raffarle is completely obsessed and in love and we all understand" Anna says and toyches my cheeks lightly before pulling.me into a hug.

"What about my idea?" I ask while telling her thank you for her words as they are nice and I cannot stop the grin on my face.

"Hmm" She is about to say sonething when the door is opened.

"Sister" Miss shrek calls out starring directly at Anna.
