Chapter 37: Chapter 36: Ahhhhhgh

Bella’s pov

Hearing the ringing of my alarm, I choose to ignore it since I had barely gotten any sleep last night but the persistent ringing makes me open my eyes.

"Baby" A deep voice whispers close to my ear and I choose to ignore it.

Turning my back against the voice, I decide it’s better I just sleep off but fate seems to have other plans.

With the speed of lightening, I feel myself being turned and something warm on my body.

"Wake up baby" The same voice say and though it sound familiar, I am too sleepy to try and guess who the voice belongs to and at that moment her head starts ringing as the realisation starts setting in.

"Amore mio" She feels it, a touch starting from her ankle and trailing upwards to her knee and slithering it’s way into the inner part of her thigh, not only the soft touch of rough hand but also the touch of something soft touching her skin like it’s the most delicate thing the earth has to offer.

The hand reaches up, brushing the brown mane on her face and instead caressing every part of her face moving down to her neck and finally to her slightly exposed cleavage.

’Oh no’ She thinks and starts struggling to open her eyes.

Her eyes, head, everything proved heavy as she tries to open her eyes, heck her muscles felt drained and limp and she found herself unable to move to much.

Finally she is able to open her eyes and a shrill scream escapes her lips, one filled with horror as she tries to move away from him.

"Ahhhhhgh" She screams and at the sound of her scream, Rafaele’s eyes darken as he glares at her.

"Shh baby girl" Raffaele calls out softly while wiping the tears that has fallen from her eyes, she tries to move away from him but that just angers the man who throws her a glare.

"You should be lucky I love you too much to hurt you, but that will not stop you from being punished" He says while glaring at her and her heart stops.

"Don" Bella calls out trying to sit only to see that she has been bound to the bed she is lying on.

"Wha-what did you do to Emi and E" she calls out in tesrs and with the fear of anything happening to them because they were an angel to her in her time of need.

"You care about them" Raffaele asks trying to conseal the hurt and jealousy in his voice.

"Of course" Bella answers, completely unaware of the man’s stirring jealousy.

"Do you care about me" Raffaele suddenly questions, startling Bella who stares at him with wide eyes.

"Answer the question baby" Raffaele demands roughly and she bites her lips while starring at him.

He waits for an answer, and he could swear his heart rate had increased along with the rush of blood pumping through his veins at that very moment.

He waited, for her words to scar him and maybe then, just maybe this amount of madness he feels towards her will reduce just a fraction.

What seems like seconds, turns to like years in his heart as he could feel himself sweating from fear.

"I-I care about you don, I do alot. I did before, you were always someone I looked up to like a mentor and n-now-" She stutters finding it almost impossible to complete her very own sentence while looking down.

Hearing her words, his heart rate picks up faster than it was actually going, which is crazy.

If he is to die this moment he would do so a happy man.

It did not matter that at the end she sounded almost uncertain, what matters is that she admits to caring.

"You care about me" Raffaele says in a whisper and she watches in disbelief how his eyes shine with happiness, like a kid who has been gifted the best thing in the world.

"I forgive you baby" Raffaele says hugging her to his chest tightly while she sits there, dumbfounded by his behaviour.

’What does he mean by he forgives me’ Bella cannot help but wonder at that time.

’Is that not my line’ She wonders as she is the one who is suppose to be angry at him and not the other way round.

"Bipolar" She mutters and unknowningly it comes out audible and Raffaele pulls back from the hug to stare at her with creased brows.

"Did you say something" He questions and she is quick to start shaking her head in denial.

"No don" Bella whispers.

"Hmm, it’s time to eat baby" Just at that moment, the door is opened and a maid pushes in a cart filled with food.

The maid arranges everything as instructed by an excited Raffaele who finds himself gazing at her.

"What do you want first" He asks her completely oblivious that the young lady is practically starring at him like he has gone nuts.

Which he has

No offense to Raffaele.

"I don’t want anything" With that she turns her face away from him.

Raffaele’s brows are furrowed as he stares at her confused.

"You want something else baby" He asks again, with so much innocence, it pisses her off and she glares at him.

"I don’t want anything from you, don’t you get it. Just leave me here to starve and die h-" Her words her cut off when he suddenly places his lips on hers, shutting her up.

The kiss is anything but gentle as it id agressive and soul snatching, she could swear he stole her breathe quit literally at that moment.

After a kiss that rendered both of them breathless, he steps back and this time gazes into her eyes intently.

"Let me warn you baby girl, I might love you but the moment you talk about dying agin, I promise you’lll see a beast in place of a man. Is that understood" He gruffly asks, his voice husky and deeper from their shared kiss as both their lips glisten and appear swollen.

Bella doesn’t even resgister when she nods her head but all she knows is that she does, out of fear for the man who is currently starring at her with a look she knows holds promises with no joke what so ever.

"Words baby girl" He gruffly asks her anf this time his glare deepens.

"Yes Don" Bella says and tries to avoid eye contact when he snatches her chin anf turns her to face him, right in the eyes.

She now has no choice but to stare at him, eye ball to eye ball, Green against blue.

She tries to get out of his grip but it only tightens and that is when she understands what the man wants.

"Ok Ra-Raffaele" The stuttered words come out even before she can control herself and he smirks, his face twisting devlishly.

"Good girl" With that he places a kiss on her forehead, his lips lingering there for a second longer than necessary or comfortable for the girl who is trying hard not to fidget and move out of his hold, he seems to sense her actions as he glares at her.

"Now eat" It wasn’t a request and is instead a command, one she knows she has no choice but to comply with and follow.

Bella starts eating and while she half enjoys the food, she feels uncomfortable as Raffaele is just busy starring at her without adverting his gaze.

"Do you want to eat" Bella asks when she finally gets fed up of his eyes which is currently boring holes into her body.

Such an innocent question from her but to him it isn’t as his eyes darken.

"Yes baby" His hoarse voice spills out along with a bob of his adam’s apple as he swallows.

Seeing the look on his face, she shrinks back in her seat, only for Raffaele to chuckle.

"You really do care about me" He says for the uptenth time like it’s so unbelievable.

It is

But how will she not care for the man who has stood by her and her mother in life and provided for them everything they need.

She was greatful to the man, more than words can express and she will admit to finding him attractive before but now all she feels is puzzlement and fear.

"Feed me" His voice brings her out of whatever trance she has been stuck in and she looks at him with a parted mouth of surprise.

"Huh" Bella questions dumbfounded by his request but a glare tells her she heard him right.

And so, here she is moment later, feeding a grown up man who is not even concentrating on the food and instead has his gaze focused solely on her face.

She could swear he has memorized every nook and crany of her face by now.

She is happy to finally be out of his cage and chains.
