Chapter 36: Chapter 35: Hide and seek

Third pov

The moment he heard that his men had found the whereabouts of his life, he wasted no time in springing into action and going to search for her.

She is his and he will make sure she will remain by his side firever.

Even with the dizziness and fatigue, he pushed his body, unwilling to let go and determined to have hiswoman beside him where she belongs.

"Raffaele, go get some rest. We’ll look for her you are not feeling ok" His friend says stepping closer to Raffaele who shakes his head in a ’no’.

"I have to get my woman" Raffaele says firmly and his friend looks at him in the eyes for sometine before sighing and nodding his head.

He knew there is no need in trying to change is mind as very few people succeed in changing the mind of the great, Raffaele Vincenti.

Soom different convoy’s of cars fill the whole area and the men march into the car.

Raffaele and his friend enter the same car and soon, the door is shut by a guard who rubs to sit in the passenger seat of the car and the driver starts the car.

The silence is loud and thick, as no one says a woed to the man who is busy tapping his legs in apprehension and one can tell he is eager.

He could barely contain hinself at the moment and at some point cannot decide what is truly wrong with him to be feeling and behaving this way.

"Calm down brother" His friend tells him when he sees the way his legs cannot keep still as he continues moving about.

"You don’t get it do you" Raffaele questions and stretches out his hand towards the bottle of alcohol present in the car.

Opening it, he places ice cubes in two glasses before pouring a drink for himself and his friend.

"I do, and I don’t get why you want to drink when you know your body still has the influence of your drugs" His friend says while attempting to snatch the drink from Raffaele but stops when the man glares at him.

"I need it" Raffaele says while chuging down the full drink and pouring another one for himself.

"Just the way I need her" He says snd when he is about to pour another drink, his friend collects it from him and downs the drink himself.

"Calm down brother, we’ll find her" Raffaele grosns but nods his head.

The drive to the supose destination where they had seen Bella or rather tracked her to, comes in sight.

They blow the honk at the gate and soon the security guard steps out and starts asking questions.

"Shoot him" Raffaele simply says, not in the mood for games.

"Don’t" His friend quickly says to which Raffaele raises a brow.

"She might not appreciate it" He says and Raffaele nods his head, before signalling to his guards to just restrain the guard.

They restrain the struggling man and soon their cars are driving into the house.

Raffaele doesn’t wait for the car to be parked properly, before stepping out with his gun in hand and on full display.

"Guard the perimeters" He barks and strides to the front door.

After knocking and ringing the door bell together impatiently, the door gets opened.

"Wh-ahh" The woman who has opened the door screams when the gun is suddenly pointed on her head, Raffaele signals with his eyes and made her enter.

"Pl-please" The woman bursts into tears from fear while starring at the handsome man in front of her who has a gun.

"Spare me please" She continues crying again and Raffaele just tsks before walking to sit on a two seater sofa like the kind of the house.

"I want something and if I get it, everybody will be happy and if not, then I am afraid this beautiful home will be covered in blood" Raffaele says while glarring at the quivering woman.

He has always loved that game, the game of hide and seek and now his love is busy playing that game with him.

He had tried to search for her for days and that only resulted in it taking a toll on his health and leaving him in a dire situation.

He has promised himself to sniff her out anf when he does, she is going to be at the receiving end for whatever punishment he has planned for her.

"Baby" Raffaele whispers absentmindedly as he raises his hand and touches his lips all the while with an absentminded expression on his face.

Chuckling from his sinister thoughts, he finds himself shaking his head before grabbing his phone and dailing a number.

"Get the car ready" He simply sayscand ends the call before stepling out of his office.

When he reaches the living room, he is met with the sight of his friends sitting, each busy either with files or a macbook placed in front of them as they type.

After informing them of his departure he stepps outside to see the convoy of six cars ready with the one in the middle being his own car.

"Boss" One of his guards say in greeting and Raffaele nods his head as a gesture to show he heard him.

With doors wide open for him, he steps into the sleep black mercedes benz and after he enters, the door is shut and the car starts moving towards his direction.

They get to a fuel station and all the cars buy some fuel before driving off.

Taking out his phone from his pocket, he starts starring at a picture of Bella.

He doesn’t even realise when his hand shoots out to start rubbing the face of his screen gently.

Bella is currently at Emilia’s house and after a late lunch since the sun is already going down, they all settle in the living room along with Ethan.

Ethan is focused on his game of scrabbles while the ladies are busy just gossiping.

"She is so annoying, Like I have to refrain from hitting her and my husband has to warn me not to get into a fight with anyone" Emilia says with an eyeroll.

"I feel like strangling the two but then I remember he is the one who buys me these expensive things and also with him being E’s father, I just glare at him and avoid him for days" Emilia says aith a sigh while Bella has a wide grin spread on her lips from all Emilia is busy telling her.

"Ok so the first time I saw the mole was when I had gone to a business party with my baby, then out of no where the slimy snake appears. ’Hi Nate’ she had said and twisted her stupid lips probably to look attractive but ended up looking like a hissing snake" Bella cannot even tell when she bursts out laughing from Emilia with her head tilted backwards.

Emilia is busy telling her about a business partner of her husband who is extra clingy to the man and extra nice to him.

She has listed out all their encounters and how she wishes nothing but to wring the other lady’s neck but time without number she is stopped by her husband.

"And he is so dumb and is always like ’Babe she doesn’t like me, everybody knows I am yours’ so I made it a mission to give him, hickeys to work everyday, fully on display so prying eyes stay away" Emilia says and Bella stares at her once more before bursting out in laughter.

Knowing this side of the all calm and collected Emilia really surprises her.

They laugh at her words and soon they are both lost in watching the kovie, oblivious to the prying eyes watching them and trying to guage out any reaction from them.

They are so immersed in their movie that only a very loud scream brings them back from reality and the plate drops before they turn towards the door with pale faces.

Slowly their ears are filled with the sounds of footsteps as it approaches them

Instead of running, they stand frozen in their steps while contemplating on what to do, it proves too late when a figure wearing all black files into the living room.

"Well, well, well" The figure says and Emilia grimaces at the person’s voice.

"Horrible" it probably shouldn’t have escaped her mouth but it does and the next thing she knows is a gun being pointed at both of them.

"Who are you" Emilia questions the man who takes confident strides into the huge room with the gun still pointed at Emilia.

"Shut up you whore" The voice spits before turning to glare at Bella.

His eyes however soften at the sight of the beauty.

"Come here Bella" he says and just after that escapes a bullet penetrates his head and Bella falls down, her vision darkening.
