Chapter 240: Feminine And Masculine

They keep on touring in Aquaterra until they arrived at the castle. They feast together, but Astri’s spouses are quiet all the time. Seijuurou and Masayori noticed their distance and that Astri is not talking to them as she normally does.

Seijuurou and Masayori were walking around freely after the feast, they meet Renzai and Seiryuu at a deck.

"Why Lady Astri’s spouses were so quiet?" Seijuurou asks them.

"I think they made Lady Astri mad by not sharing with her where and how they are planning things about her palace." Seiryuu answers.

"I think it is more than that.. Apparently they decided how things will work even without her agreement. I noticed that they don’t let her alone by any moment. Lady Astri brought them here because their energies became more turbulent after she exposed what they were doing. And they know she is mad, and that made their energies even more disturbed." Renzai says, and sighs. " They have good energies but they carry a pain none of us have experienced. But if they want to build a sacred place for her they will need to heal that pain somehow."

"I understand now.." Seijuurou says.

They watch Astri coming walking to them, her spouses and family following her.

"Did you like to meet a new realm?" Astri asks them with a smile.

"It was an amazing experience, Lady Astri. I will be eternally grateful. I have learned many things." Seijuurou answers.

"Me too. I enjoyed the weather, too." Seiryuu smiles.

"Thank you for providing this opportunity, Lady Astri." Renzai says.

"You are welcome. It is my pleasure. I have learned a lot traveling and meeting new people." Astri answers.

After a few more time talking, they walk back to Seiryuu’s ship after giving farewells to Deanora and the Kings of Aquaterra.

"Beau, would you move the ship, please?" Astri asks Beau.

"Sure, love.." He answers.

Beau turns on the ship, and then Astri makes a giant portal to Hinoshiki Port. Beau makes the ship pass the portal, shocking everyone in the port. People were gasping and pointing at the ship that came from nowhere.

They bring the ship to the royal port, and then go back to land. As they are walking to the Sacred Castle, Seijuurou sees Yuki walking next to her mother and noticed that she is carrying a pouch he didn’t see before.

"That pouch doesn’t look from here. Is it from the Beast Kingdom?" Seijuurou asks Yuki.

"Oh. It is from Aquaterra. I just bought it. Actually my brother Hopin did. It fits my sketchbook and pencils perfectly." Yuki answers looking at the pouch with a smile.

"Do you like pouches?"

"Well, they are useful. And this is one is pretty." Yuki says.

"It is pretty. It suits your beauty, my precious pearl." Astri says, and kisses Yuki’s head.

The pouch had scales that look like pearl, and shimmers in pink.

"Thanks, mom." Yuki smiles.

"And yours also fits your beauty, my shining Eagle." Astri says, hugging Aurora and kissing her head, too.

"Thanks, mom." Aurora smiles.

Aurora’s pouch is red and gold. It is impressive how much she looks like Lee for liking shining things. Astri’s spouses are always happy to see their daughters showing up their feminine side more with Astri’s help. Fraz would sometimes intervene and show them how to be more feminine, but since majority of times they would spent more time with males and had responsibilities since very young, they couldn’t express that side often.

"Mom? If females are expected to only have children, why do you think it is important for us to learn things, to train and know how to protect ourselves?" Yuki asks.

It is a very pertinent question, and also complex. It is something that all around wouldn’t know how to answer properly. Even if Renzai is a wise male, he was raised not finding any females interested on being someone like Astri. Renzai, Seijuurou, and even the others only know that Astri is a female because she has feelings and needs like normal females, but she also desires for things no other does, and for them to answer that question would not be an easy quest.

"Did you know that inside all of us there are female and male energies? A female energy is more centered, sensitive, careful, attentive to details. A male energy is more strength, protection, direct to the point. The only male I knew that only had male energies reeking out of him was Freyd and you can imagine that he wasn’t nowhere near of a good leader. Everyone with those two energies in balance finds happiness. A female is the energy that helps males to be more centered and become better leaders, and does not mean leaders of a kingdom only, but to become leaders of a home, too." Astri explains to her daughters, but everyone got closer to listen. "In the other world, in ancient times that were females were seen as the most important of their tribes because they were the ones responsible to raise, educate, protect and guide their people because the males had to leave for days in search of supplies. They would also fight in battles along their males. And believe it or not, they were the most feared because they were smarter and several times would lead armies to victory. In times of peace, they would be the ones to pass the values, knowledge, to the young generations. A female was always a leader with her male, and they knew that if the male was bad it was because the female were leading him the right way. Their energies were balanced. And normally, the female is the most sensitive to know how to balance her partner’s energy. And that is only possible if a female also raise her own mind, energy, and understanding of the world. Unfortunately, that was also lost with time."

"Now I understand." Yuki says.

"I am telling about another world, but on our core we are the same. Females are not only important for having children, but to also be this balance in her family. Females are not being taught through several generations to only have male energies. To not think on details, take responsibilities, be sensitive. That is why they are mostly selfish, but that is not their true nature. Unconsciously people know that. That is why leaders are always questioned by others when they will have a female, not only for heirs, but to also make them stronger. However, stronger leaders would always leave the moment to find a female when they were older because unconsciously they knew that their resolution and energy would be disturbed by a selfish female."

That realization made her spouses impressed. All of them didn’t want a female until they found Astri because they didn’t want to waist their lives on only a selfish female.

"You, my beautiful girls carry an importance much bigger than you imagine. And that is not only for being my children, but for simply females. All of us carry Nature inside of us, and it is not because of me. All of us came from Nature, and we have Nature inside of us. Everyone is important."

Yuki were always wondering if it was good to keep on doing things that her mother taught her when she was younger. Her fathers never said to her to stop, but since she would always see that all females were not like her made her doubt herself many times. However, whenever she saw her family disturbed or weak she would naturally position herself to help them. She is happy that never stopped being who she is. Now she understands that is not what Astri taught her to be, Astri only made her be herself.

They arrive at the Mizuryuu Castle and then when Astri was about to make a portal for Seijuurou and Masayori go back to the Jade Palace, Kangki and Claud stopped her and made the portal themselves.

Since they weren’t hungry yet, and also due to the time zone difference, all of them simply decide to go to their chambers and rest even though is still end of afternoon.

"Mom?" Yuki calls for Astri before she heads to the children’s chambers.

"Yes, dear?" Astri looks at Yuki.

"How was called these females of ancient times of the other world?" Yuki asks.

"Depends on their role in the moment. In the battle field there were called Shield Maidens. The oldest female was called Matriarch. The healers were called Völva." Astri answers.

"Wow.. Females could be many things there." Yuki says impressed.

"They still can. You can be anything you want, dear." Astri chuckles.

"I want to be a Shield Maiden!" Aurora says, pretending to fight with her brothers, making everyone laugh.

"That is great, dear. But know that even knowing how to fight, it is important to never look after one. Our integrity, life, is more important than proving our strength." Astri says.

"Of course, mother. I just like to fight and feel strong."

"I understand. And I love you for that. Good night, my grown up babies."
