Chapter 3679 - Brother

Chapter 3679 - Brother

"Are you afraid of it?" Tianming asked.

"Did you forget who crippled it and your brother?" Sixth rolled its eyes.

"The wonderians?"

"Ha, what a joke. That race is only good at putting on airs, they’re useless at everything else." Sixth sneered in contempt.

"So you were the one who took it down?" Tianming asked.

"No, it was the vita of the Celestial Sourcepath Progenitor..." Sixth said.

"Then why’re you acting so proud...?"

Anyone with half a brain could figure it out. Sixth’s vita controlled God Domains Five, Six, Seven, Eight, and Nine. God Domain Nine, especially, housed countless overflowers and even many cosmic gods. Although their essences were the same, in their respective domains, their strength was absolutely not at the level of 'one, three, and five'.

Sixth loves to boast. The actual difference in strength could be ten thousand times.... Otherwise, why would it be afraid of Tianming going up?

However, one thing’s certain. If those two above descend to God Domain One, they won’t be able to defeat Sixth’s caelum here. Otherwise, they would’ve already come down and killed me.

They were all dragons, but only in their own territories—just like Tianming.

"I wonder how Little Feng’s doing in the Upper Star Ruin." Tianming’s next plan was to study the Original Sin Pool, activate the so-called Flameyellow Divine Path, and head to the Upper Star Ruin.

"That’s the true battlefield at the peak of the starry sky’s myriad races!"

As he thought about that, Tianming had already arrived in front of the Soulfiend. The Soulfiend had consumed quite a number of orderlies and seemed to have gained some spiritform astrons.

"Brother Soulfiend!" Tianming dashed to its chest.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

He patted it a few times and asked, "Do you still recognize me? I’m Tianming!"

"It’s weak now, shouting won’t help. Watch this!" Sixth waved its hand and two first-level overflower orderlies with dazed eyes were seized and kneaded into a ball before being stuffed directly into the Soulfiend’s mouth.

"Uh.... Heaven has a heart for all living things...." Tianming’s eyes widened.

"Screw your mercy." Sixth indifferently said.

Tianming was speechless, but before he could react, the Soulfiend had already swallowed the two orderlies. Its three heads all started coughing at the same time while its spirit and energy quickly began recovering.

The Soulfiend panted heavily. It furiously glared around, exuding terrifying rage.

The next moment, it saw Tianming!

"Hey, old friend, long time no see!" Tianming grinned.

The Soulfiend’s three heads—Joy, Anger, and Sorrow—took turns turning toward Tianming, each making sure to look closely at him. When it finally confirmed that it was really him, it froze on the Joy head and all six of its arms immediately grabbed him, lifting him into the air in excitement.

"Uwu! Uwu!" Although it made such sounds, its expression was filled with excitement.

"Haha, don’t worry, everything’s fine now. This is my turf now—I’ve subdued these orderlies." Tianming reassured.

The Soulfiend repeatedly nodded.

But then it suddenly saw a white cloud floating beside Tianming. Its Anger head instantly snapped to its front, releasing a monstrous fury.

"Relax, I’ve subdued it, too," Tianming said.

"Roar?" Hearing that, the Soulfiend finally relaxed. However, it still glared at Sixth, clearly displeased.

"Low intelligence. Heh," Sixth mockingly sneered.

Tianming couldn’t be bothered with it. Standing in front of the Soulfiend, he eagerly asked, "Where’s my sister? Is she alright?"

"Mmhmm!" The Soulfiend nodded.

"Thank you for protecting her. When Little Feng finds out, he’ll be very happy!" Tianming said gratefully.

The Soulfiend pounded its chest, signaling that it was just what it was supposed to do.

Then it suddenly froze for a moment and let out a retching sound. Tianming watched it spit out a moonlight-colored sphere.

"Little Yueyue! I missed you so much!" Before Tianming could speak, a chicken head suddenly popped up beside him!

"Day and night, my thoughts were filled with you! When I heard you were trapped in this Taboo Ocean, every second was agony for me! Finally! Risking life and wings, I persevered through countless battles to make it here and save you!" Ying Huo 'mournfully cried'.

"Don’t you have any shame?" Tianming asked.

Ying Huo shot him a glare. "Shut up, or I’ll sabotage you next time you flirt."

Tianming shuddered and quickly said to the moon-white sphere, "Shuo Yue, your Brother Chicken’s telling the truth. Over these years, he’s missed you so much he even lost weight!"

As they spoke, the moon-white sphere was already transforming into a human figure! She had long, moon-white hair, a face as serene as the moonlight, and an ethereal and cold aura.... She was Li Qingyu!

After decades apart, she still looked like Tianming remembered her, but she had grown a lot. Who knew how many stories she had experienced?

But, for now she remained in slumber, extremely weak.

The Soulfiend carefully cradled her in its hands and lifted her toward Tianming.

"Qingyu!" Tianming took a deep breath. He had finally found her. At the same time that he sighed in relief, he also felt that he could finally give Li Wudi an answer and let that ‘old man’ rest easy.

"Come home with me. From now on, I won’t let you be lost out there again!"

After she’d left, Tianming had built two great homes, one on the Sun and one in Tianmingopolis. They were enough to protect many people.

It seemed like Qingyu heard his voice. Her serene eyes slightly quivered and her long, delicate lashes trembled. Her fingers faintly twitched as well.

"Qingyu!" Tianming, overcome with emotion, called out to her again.

The young girl slightly shivered. Finally, she opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was a radiant, glowing man. Her first instinct was fear, as the man was too dazzling!

But when she looked again, she saw his long white hair and gold and black eyes. The most distinctive feature was the little yellow chick sitting on his shoulder!

The chick was muttering, "Hurry, hurry! I missed Little Yueyue so much!"

Who else could it be?

"Brother!" Her whole body shuddered and tears streamed down her face. She could no longer hold herself back and threw herself into Tianming’s arms.

Feeling the cold, trembling, helpless little girl in his embrace, Tianming took a deep breath. He patted her on the shoulder and said, "It’s alright now! You’re home! For the rest of my life, I’ll never let you suffer even a bit again!"

"Brother...." Qingyu’s tearful eyes gazed at him for a long time. She had countless things to say, but not a single word came out.

"It’s alright! Everyone missed you! Your old man especially has been longing for you every day, urging me to find you. When I bring you back, he’ll probably cry and wail for three days straight." Tianming laughed.

“Yes!” Thinking of her father’s silly antics, Qingyu finally smiled through her tears. But just as she smiled, her expression turned tense and urgent. "Brother! Little Feng—"

"I heard he was taken by the wonderians to the Upper Star Ruin. Don’t worry. My next destination is there!" Tianming grimly said.

"Good!" No more words were needed. Between siblings, a single look was enough.
