Idiot. You actually let a C-rank Beastmaster escape… Rushumar glared at Ogav, then turned to Pirite and said coldly: “Looks like we’ll have to go find Qiao Sang together.”

The staff member checked the system and looked up apologetically.

“I’m sorry, all flights to the 1st District are sold out.”

Qiao Sang didn’t even think before saying, “Then give me any flight to the 1st District for today. Any airline.”

The staff member still wore the same apologetic look.

“Then get me a ticket to any of the upper ten districts.”

“Alright, please wait a moment.” The staff member looked back at the screen.

“All flights to the upper ten districts are sold out as well.”

The staff looked again, but the answer remained the same: “None.”

“How could there not be a single ticket left?” Qiao Sang found it hard to believe.

“Why waste time talking?” Rushumar said impatiently.

“Contact the others already.”

He quickly patted down all the pockets on his clothes, but then lowered his hands, disappointed.

“But I didn’t bring a pen or paper.”

Suddenly, he looked at the Little Treasure sipping a drink beside them with hopeful eyes.

“I heard that the Ghost Ring King’s ring is actually a spatial storage. It can hold anything. I wonder if there’s a pen and some paper in there I could borrow.”

“Xun~ Xun!”

Upon hearing that, Little Treasure immediately put down his drink, removed his ring, and was about to search for the requested items.

Just then, he heard his beast master speak: “I didn’t bring a pen or paper either.”

Little Treasure quietly slipped the ring back onto himself.

Gangbao turned to observe the young man after hearing her beast master’s words.

“That’s a real pity.” The young man said disappointedly.

“Where are you headed?” Qiao Sang took a sip of her coffee and asked casually.

The young man paused, then said, “I’m here on a mission. The client covers meals and lodging, so I didn’t bring anything.”

“Not even clothes?”

The young man scratched his head, looking embarrassed.

“I can go a whole week without showering.”

But there was nothing. Not a single sound. Not even the noise of someone using the toilet.

Qiao Sang’s alertness spiked.

Definitely not right.

With her current level of hearing, she should’ve been able to hear sounds from inside the restroom, even the sound of someone pulling down pants. But she heard nothing.

And that was the most suspicious thing of all.

“Yabao, listen in on that restroom.” Qiao Sang said, motioning in that direction.

“Yap.”

Yabao, still sipping his drink, twitched his ears.

“Yap…”

Three seconds later, he shook his head, nothing heard.

Even Yabao couldn’t hear anything… Qiao Sang’s heart sank.

She immediately turned to Little Treasure.

“Little Treasure, go invisible and-”

But she suddenly stopped short, her heart tightening.

Adinishi was inside Little Treasure's ring. Right now, that ring was a high-priority item. She couldn’t let him leave her sight.

Little Treasure looked confused when his beast master didn’t finish the sentence.

Qiao Sang changed the subject.

“It’s nothing. Keep drinking.”

At the top of the innermost stall, a small box-like pet beast covered its nose, eyes glowing blue, wearing a deadpan expression like it had lost the will to live.

An invisible barrier enveloped the stall, completely isolating all sound.

The brown-haired youth pondered for a moment, then asked: “Did you find out what time Qiao Sang’s flight is?”

The blond nodded.

“3:30 AM.”

The brown-haired one checked his watch.

“A few more hours. The airport’s too crowded to act now. It’s best to wait until we contact Ogav and have him come over.”

“What if Qiao Sang boards the plane and we still haven’t reached him?” The blond asked.

“Then we’ll have to handle it ourselves.” The young man said grimly.

“Her Ice Aipalu has super-tier skills like Ice Field Domain and Healing Light, and her Fire Qilu has Lava Purgatory and the ultimate-level skill Meteor Rain. We’re probably not a match.” The blond said frankly.

The brown-haired one fell silent.

He had to admit, that was a real problem.

After a few seconds, he spoke: “The key is the Ghost Ring King’s ring. As long as we can get that ring, or the beast itself, it’ll be enough.”

“If we haven’t secured the Ghost Ring King and the ring before she boards, and we still haven’t reached Ogav…”

His gaze turned razor-sharp.

“Then we’ll just have to sabotage the plane.”

Half a minute later, the two exited the stall.

At that exact moment, a middle-aged man wearing black-rimmed glasses walked toward them.

He glanced at the two who came out of the same stall, then looked up at the little pet beast holding its nose above the stall, recognizing the skill it was using.
