Chapter 40: Chapter 40: The Invasion

I woke up to Manaia’s soft embrace, feeling the calm in the warmth of her body. My hands began to glide over her exquisite curves, focusing on her soft ass.

"You woke up hard," Manaia murmured in a sleepy voice, her husky laugh barely audible as she felt my cock throbbing against her buttocks. She turned, her playful, sleepy gaze meeting mine. "Let me help you with that."

Without waiting, she slid down. Her warm, wet lips enveloped me. The sensation of her mouth, increasingly expert at giving me pleasure, made me close my eyes, enjoying the moment right after waking.

Without warning, the sensation vanished. I opened my eyes and saw Manaia sitting up, smiling at me with that beautiful, seductive grin.

"I want a bit of that big piece of meat you’ve got too."

She opened her legs, positioning herself on top of me. I could see her pussy dripping with eager love juices. Manaia leaned down, placing my cock at the entrance of her vagina, only allowing the tip to brush her wet lips as she stared at me, provoking even more desire and arousal.

"Come on, put it in, what are you waiting for?!"

"Don’t be impatient, I want to enjoy the sight of you desperate to taste my pussy."

"I can’t wait any longer, I want to be inside you... Let me put it all the way in you..."

"Only because you’ve been a good boy..."

She was about to drop onto my cock, guiding it into her cunt, when a blaring alarm shattered the bubble of intimacy.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

The Level 2 alarm. A jolt of cold adrenaline shot down my spine. Manaia, with my cock already halfway into her entrance, froze for an instant, but desire still drove her. She rammed it in herself and began to ride me furiously.

But the urgency was undeniable. My status screen flashed with red warnings. I opened the detection system panel. What I saw chilled my blood.

A horde. Orcs, imposing Ogres, scaly-skinned Sealakels, clawed Dogkins and Catkins, and even a gigantic stone golem, all heading directly toward the village. Panic seized me.

"Manaia, no! We have an emergency!"

I roughly pushed her off. Pleasure evaporated, replaced by urgency. I sprang to my feet, feeling the sting of frustration and worry.

"Sorry, sorry! I can’t explain now, but... gather all the warrior women! Form a defensive line at the village entrance, immediately! If I don’t come back, you have to run, Manaia! Flee the village and don’t look back!"

I kicked on my pants, grabbed my bow, and ran out of the hut as if the devil himself were chasing me, the alarm’s echo still ringing in my ears. Every fiber of my being screamed urgency, the image of Manaia’s body still seared into my mind.

"You damned sons of bitches...!!!! You better be ready to get killed, how dare you interrupt me having sex with Manaia...!!"

My shouts echoed, making Manaia turn completely red, and some other nearby women also flushed with embarrassment upon hearing me, whispering among themselves as they looked towards Manaia’s hut.

After running for an hour, I reached the area where the goblin village used to be. I used some large trees for cover to avoid being discovered while trying to get as close as possible without alerting the monsters. I could see that they were all gathered, searching for something among the village ruins, but each group kept to its own zone.

I observed them for almost an hour; the tension grew in the air. Some monsters even attacked each other when they thought they found something valuable. Suddenly, a Dogkin found something that looked like a miniature version of the obelisk I have in the guild. The obelisk was buried right in the center of the village. Intrigued, I used my [Temporal Evaluation] ability. Immediately, a window appeared in front of me with the item’s information:

[Vassal Guild Symbol]

Grants Vassal Guild status. Can only be granted by the guild leader to a group larger than 25 people.

Just below the box, there was a symbol flashing blue. When I pressed it, a memory appeared before me:

"You managed to ascend to Hobgoblin, I’m proud of you, my son... I will give you this symbol as a sign of my expectation for your growth... Go and found your village with your family."

A shadowy being said that to the Hobgoblin I had killed. I tried to use [Temporal Evaluation] again within the memory, but I couldn’t. I couldn’t figure out who that strange shadowy being was.

As I was reviewing the information, one of the Orcs approached the Dogkin and snatched the pillar from him, slapping him. The other Dogkins barked as they approached, but with a roar, more Orcs surrounded them. The largest Orc roared again, and the other Orcs began to savagely beat the Dogkins, who fled without looking back.

The Orc chief seemed to smile, although with his hideous face, it was hard to tell. He yelled at his companions to take it, but the Sealakels, the Ogres, and even the giant golem approached the Orc, blocking their path.

The Orcs drew their weapons, trying to threaten the others who were blocking their way. The tension was strong, but no one dared to make a rash move. I couldn’t understand what they were saying until it occurred to me to activate the [Lunar Senses] ability. The strange vision returned, but not only that; now I could clearly hear from a distance and even understand what they were saying.

"The seal is ours, we will sacrifice it to the Altar."

"Come on, Regul, you stole it from the poor dogs, you have no decency trying to manipulate it for yourself!"

"You talk about decency, you damned lizard...? You sacked my tribe a few days ago, even kidnapped quite a few of my own."

"Hehe, Orc meat is always nutritious, I wouldn’t mind eating more if you don’t leave."

"Guuuu aaaahhh...!! Rock belong to Golem clan."

The negotiations didn’t seem to be going anywhere, while some, like the Ogres and Catkins, fled the scene to avoid getting caught in the conflict.
