Chapter 70: Stubborn Dark Elf
Chapter 70: Stubborn Dark Elf
"You don’t want me to report you to the Guild Master, right?" Dapper asked with a wild grin, and the dark elf nodded reluctantly.
"Good. You just have to listen to me. You’re a nice girl, not so bad. Can you give me a 360 turn?" Dapper asked, his toothy grin growing even wider. He could see the hatred brewing on her face, though she tried hard to suppress it.
"I’m sorry. That’s against our code of conduct. Such actions are not permitted during work hours."
"If they’re not allowed during work hours, what about after work?" Dapper asked smoothly.
"Human, what do you mean? I think you’re going overboard now. Remember, I’m only tolerating this to save my job. At most, the Guild Master would caution me. Don’t push your luck too far," the dark elf warned sharply, her tone taking a sudden serious turn as she yanked her wrist free from Dapper’s grip.
’This elf... she’s not a pushover. But I won’t give up here. Her attitude only makes me more aroused. She probably doesn’t care about looks... or maybe she’s just not into humans. But she might be into money... no, she might find that offensive.’
"Hey, do you mind if we meet up after work hours? Maybe grab a few drinks? You’re beautiful," Dapper said, flashing a playful smile. The elf paused, then turned to look at him from top to bottom.
"I don’t date babies. You’re not even nineteen yet, which is barely anything by elven standards. Know your place, human," the elf said, then walked away without another glance.
Dapper stood there, stunned. That was only the second time in his life a woman had turned him down. The first was Aya. And now this elf, who was even more blunt.
"Hey, why don’t you give it a chance before jumping to conclusions? Age is just a number. Besides, I like them older. Anyway, that was a joke but I’d appreciate it if you thought about it. At least tell me your name," Dapper called after her, hoping she heard him.
Surprisingly, she stopped and turned her head slightly.
"I’ll think about it. My name is Quigella," she said, then vanished into a section of the guild reserved for staff only.
"What a strange woman. Still... it hurt being called a baby," Dapper muttered as he walked out of the guild. But she wasn’t wrong. The average lifespan of elves was in the thousands. While humans had developed ways to extend their lives, barely any made it to a thousand. Most died between five hundred and seven hundred years. To elves, that was pitiful.
In fact, a fifty-year-old pure elf was still considered a child in elven culture.
Dapper brought out his phone and glanced at his to-do list. The next task: get a car. He could’ve taken one from the Estate, but all the cars there were luxury models, far too flashy for what he had in mind.
He headed to a car lot and bought a modest used vehicle for seven thousand Yexen. It was slightly beat-up but had solid components. He made sure to repair essential parts and stocked up on spare Mana crystals. Once everything was set, he headed straight to Lice’s house.
Upon arriving, the guards at the gate didn’t allow him to drive in. They knew who he was but refused to let in his shabby car, which they clearly saw as a rolling scrap heap. If only they knew how good the internals and interior were.
Dapper immediately called Lice to explain. Within minutes, Lice came down himself, questioned the guards, and got Dapper cleared to drive in.
"It’s been a while, man. We haven’t seen you since your second wedding," Lice said, shaking Dapper’s hand firmly.
"I remember. You and Yavo puked all over the place," Dapper laughed, and Lice looked a bit embarrassed.
"Let’s go inside. We’ve got a lot to catch up on," Lice said.
"Sure."
Dapper followed Lice up to his room. But the moment he stepped inside, he paused in surprise. The room looked totally different from what he remembered. It was oddly neat. No more scattered game cases. A console setup now stood neatly arranged, and there was even a section cut out like a mini-studio.
"Man, your room’s changed a lot. What happened?" Dapper asked jokingly.
"Well, I’m a gamer now. I stream games online. Also learning some hacking, but like I said before, I’m still learning," Lice replied.
"I see... What about Yavo? I haven’t seen him since my wedding, and his number isn’t even going through. What’s going on with him?" Dapper asked.
"Well... Yavo became a farmer," Lice said with a tired smile.
"I tried to talk him out of it, but he was serious. So I supported him. He really seems passionate. Even gave me some potatoes from his farm recently. And yeah, he changed his number but he still asks about you often," Lice added.
"So, he was serious about becoming a farmer... I remember him joking about that when we drank alcohol for the first time," Dapper muttered.
"Yeah, that’s true. That day was awful though. We woke up drowning in our own vomit. I was literally gagging on Yavo’s puke, but somehow you weren’t affected," Lice said, squinting at Dapper with suspicion.
"That’s funny. I was definitely high that day, but I managed to control myself and went home. I didn’t want to mess up here. My wife was the only one who saw that embarrassing side of me," Dapper lied smoothly just to make Lice feel better.
’I knew it. You always remember your first time drinking alcohol, just like I remember mine from my last life. I felt like absolute shit for days.’ Dapper thought, holding back the evil grin that threatened to creep onto his lips.
"That reminds me, Yavo got engaged to a young girl around his age. The wedding’s a few months from now," Lice suddenly revealed.
"Yavo is getting married?! That guy’s really eager to settle down," Dapper muttered in surprise. He was sure Yavo didn’t want to be left behind by him but if only he knew...
"Dapper, Yavo also said he’s no longer a virgin. Meanwhile, look at me, still stuck in my parents’ house, beating my meat to animated girls. When am I going to lose my V-card?!" Lice cried comically, tears welling up behind his glasses.
"Say no more," Dapper said, placing a firm hand on Lice’s shoulder, his face solemn.
"You want to stop being a virgin, right?" Dapper asked, and Lice nodded rapidly.
"Good. Then let’s make a deal."
"I want to see Mira, but I noticed your house has tight security today. I don’t think I can get in without your help. It’s nothing much, I just want to check on her well-being. She asked me to visit the next time I came around," Dapper said confidently.
Surprisingly, Lice didn’t look suspicious at all.
"Oh, that’s no big deal. The reason there’s security now is because a thief broke in last month. We don’t know how, but Mira caught sight of him and he ran off. He wasn’t caught, so we had to beef up security. But don’t worry, they’ve seen you with me—you’re fine. Also... how exactly do you plan to make me lose my V-card?" Lice asked, adjusting his glasses.
"I’ll take you somewhere," Dapper replied with a mischievous toothy grin.
Dapper left Lice’s room and walked toward Mira’s. As he passed the guards, none of them questioned him or even batted an eye.
He arrived at Mira’s door and knocked.
"Who is it?" a familiar voice called out.
"UWAAAGAAGAGA!"
Dapper could hear Nina, Mira’s baby, shouting and playing after the knock.
"Who is it?"
’Shit, I didn’t get her a gift. Damn it! Wait, maybe I’ve got something in my inventory.’ Dapper thought, quickly pulling out a flower. He’d meant to give it to Ruth or Belinda, but forgot.
"It’s me, Mira," Dapper called.
There was a brief pause.
"Is that you, Dapper?" Mira asked, instantly recognizing his voice.
"Yes."
Moments later, the door swung open, revealing Mira at the threshold. She wore a camisole again, though in a different color from before. Her erect nipples jutted through the fabric, and milk lewdly dripped from them as if her breasts were painfully engorged. Her hair looked messy, and she seemed to have lost some weight.
"Dapper!" Mira squealed, hugging him tightly. Her stiff nipples pressed into his chest, soaking his clothes with breast milk. The sweet scent of milk filled the room. He lifted her off the floor and closed the door behind them. That’s when he realized why her breasts were leaking, she had been pumping milk into several containers.
A cluster of them sat atop her dresser.
Still in his arms, Mira looked up and kissed him on the lips. Dapper returned the kiss and they stayed locked together for minutes before parting. He gently set her down.
