Baby Serendipity: The Whole World Fell In Love With Me -
Chapter 334 - 333: Do You Also Think Nezha is Not Good?
Chapter 334: Chapter 333: Do You Also Think Nezha is Not Good?
Situ Zha spoke too aggressively, which made Gu Youyou uncomfortable. Clenching her small fists, she glared at Situ Zha, "We weren’t talking to you. Why do you always butt in? So annoying, hmph."
Mianmian also looked at Situ Zha, quite earnestly, "I don’t think I am anybody special, I’m just telling the truth. When Nezha was in his mother’s belly, he was just a little baby who knew nothing. How could he control whether it rained outside? This matter has nothing to do with Nezha."
Situ Zha, intimidated by Gu Youyou, didn’t react. After hearing Mianmian’s words, he had a strange expression on his face.
It was quite a while before he finally lifted his chin and spoke, "Okay then, what you said makes sense. A little baby really can’t do anything."
Having her words agreed to by Situ Zha made Mianmian feel uncomfortable. She looked at him several times, thinking that this little friend Situ Zha was really odd.
It could also be because everything about Situ Zha was unknown to her, and she couldn’t see anything at all.
"Mianmian, don’t bother with him, continue the story."
Mianmian then concentrated on continuing the story for Gu Youyou.
As the story went on, it described Nezha’s birth being accompanied by extraordinary phenomena, how he was able to run and talk the moment he landed, grew when facing the wind, and even had magical treasures from fairies on him, eventually becoming the disciple of Taiyi Zhenren.
Gu Youyou listened with fascination and couldn’t help saying to Mianmian, "My mom told me lots of mythical stories from our country, and even the story of Sun Wukong, but she hasn’t told me about Nezha. Sun Wukong has his Golden Hoop Stick, and Nezha has his Qiankun Ring, they’re both so powerful."
Mianmian also thought they were powerful and nodded, "I think so too, but out of all the mythical figures, I still like Sun Wukong the most."
"Who is Sun Wukong?" Situ Zha interrupted again.
Mianmian looked up, saw a book about the Great Saint Qi Tian nearby, picked it up, and gave it to Situ Zha, "It’s him."
Situ Zha flipped through it and realized the main character was a monkey. He was speechless, "You actually like a monkey."
Mianmian: "It’s completely normal for me to like monkeys, especially since he’s not an ordinary monkey."
Gu Youyou saw that Mianmian and Situ Zha had started to chat and worried Situ Zha would ask Mianmian to tell the story of Sun Wukong, quickly said, "Situ Zha, go watch TV by yourself. There are lots of shows about Sun Wukong that you can watch. Mianmian, continue telling me the story, please."
"Okay." Mianmian continued with the story, "Taiyi Zhenren also gave Nezha several magical treasures, like this Hun Tianling, which is really powerful. One day when he went out to play, he felt hot and took a bath in the sea. The Hun Tianling stirred in the water, shaking the Dragon Palace within like an earthquake."
Gu Youyou listened very attentively. By now, she had some experience with listening to stories, her vocabulary had expanded, and she understood much more.
Besides, children’s picture books are straightforward, and Gu Youyou understood them well, quietly listening as Mianmian went on.
The story then came to the point where someone came to ask Nezha what he was doing, scolded him, and was killed by Nezha with his Qiankun Ring.
"Oh no, that’s not right," Gu Youyou blinked her eyes, "How could Nezha just kill someone like that? That’s not good."
On the picture book, there was no gore on the illustration, just a crab man lying on the ground with his eyes closed.
But Gu Youyou still felt uneasy and said, "I’m a bit scared of this story, Mianmian, I don’t want to listen anymore. Let’s switch to another story."
Since Mianmian was telling the story for Gu Youyou and she no longer wanted to listen, Mianmian closed the book and prepared to find another one.
Situ Zha frowned at this.
He was actually finding the story interesting. Usually at home, the nanny looked after him. His mother said he wasn’t allowed to watch TV dramas, and the books at home were all uninteresting.
The strange man who suddenly appeared in his house, whom the nanny couldn’t see, hadn’t told him these stories either. He just taught him some methods to control his tremendous strength and how to kill evil spirits.
Therefore, Situ Zha had never encountered any mythical stories before.
Previously, when Mianmian mentioned something about a "pearl" entering a mother’s belly and becoming a little baby, he didn’t know why he was interested, but he couldn’t help but listen intently.
Now, the story was half-told, and Gu Youyou didn’t want to listen anymore, so Mianmian stopped telling it. Situ Zha felt a little depressed, "Why stop just because she doesn’t want to listen?"
Gu Youyou didn’t want to pay any attention to Situ Zha, "Just not listening, I don’t like Nezha, don’t want to listen."
Situ Zha turned his head and asked Mianmian, "Do you think Nezha is no good, too?"
Mianmian shook her head and was about to speak when Teacher Liao’s gentle call came from the other side, "Children, activity time is over. Come out to the washroom, and then we will all go to class together."
The children tidied up the activity area, obediently went to the washroom, and then sat down in the middle of the classroom.
Teacher Liao took out some pictures, asked questions using the pictures to guide the children to talk about what was on them, and then introduced today’s class theme song, "We Are the Little Friends from the Intermediate Class."
Everyone was singing the song, except for Situ Zha, who was lost in thought.
He was wondering whether Mianmian really thought Nezha was good or not.
While thinking, Situ Zha suddenly came back to his senses and frowned, thinking: Why does he care if Su Mianmian likes Nezha or not? It has nothing to do with him.
He isn’t Nezha, after all. Why bother with it? It’s just a story.
Situ Zha didn’t want to think about these things any longer and casually hummed a few lines of the nursery rhyme.
Soon, it was four-thirty, and the children, with new backpacks given by the kindergarten, lined up with the teacher, ready to go to the gate and head home.
This gate was actually the kindergarten’s internal door. After picking up the children, the parents could choose to go out and use other transport to go home or go to the basement to take the car that came in.
As Mianmian was lining up with Class Three, there came a super loud call from the other side, "Little Auntie, Little Auntie! Where are you?"
Recognizing Su Chaoyang’s voice, Mianmian looked around.
But there were too many children, blocking her view. She could only see the direction but not the twins.
So Mianmian could only reply, "Great grandnephews, I am here. How come you and Little Auntie are in the same kindergarten?"
Su Chaoyang: "We’ve always been in the same kindergarten with you."
After hearing this, and noticing that no one else around was shouting like that, Mianmian said, "Okay then, behave yourselves, Little Auntie will pick you up from school in a while. Let’s all not shout; the other children around aren’t making noise."
From the other side, Su Chaoyang replied through the air, "Oh! Okay, I’ll listen to you!"
They could not see each other, but the teachers at the head of the lines could see. Anyone who had watched Variety Show and knew about Mianmian recognized who "Little Auntie" was.
Then glancing at the Little Bun with a shaved head, standing at the very front of the class because he was the shortest, they all looked enviously at Teacher Liao.
The teacher from Class Four even whispered to Teacher Liao, "Teacher Liao, why is Little Auntie in your class? Is it too late for me to ask the Director to demote me to a supporting class teacher, to join your class?"
A single sentence made Teacher Liao smile with a mix of emotions, "It’s too late now, but our two classes can do joint activities, and you will be able to see Little Auntie then."
After hearing that, Class Four’s teacher glanced again at the adorable Little Auntie and sighed, "Wuu wuu wuu, I do like the idea of a joint activity, I’m just afraid the Little Auntie has a fate with me."
From what she knew by squatting in the Live Broadcast Room, having a fate with Little Auntie usually meant experiencing something unpleasant.
She wanted a plain and ordinary life, not one full of dramatic ups and downs.
"Today is the day Little Auntie is supposed to live-stream," Class Four’s teacher added. "I wonder if the fans in the Group are anxious, Little Auntie has been locked in Kindergarten, with no Live-stream this afternoon, haha."
