Chapter 326: Chapter 325: Your Qi is Even Stronger than Mine?!
Su Chenjin took note of the details mentioned by Situ Zha’s mother, analyzed them carefully, and found no inconsistencies.
In Situ Zha’s mother’s words, his daily life was a routine between three fixed points; there was no possibility of him coming into contact with any other people.
Su Chenjin noted down some more details, and then the two of them stopped conversing.
Instead, it was Situ Zha in the distance who suddenly began to play with a chair, tilting it so only one leg was on the ground while the other three were in the air, and he started spinning it around.
Liu Anan was anxious, "Zhazha, that’s very dangerous; you could get hurt."
Situ Zha just glanced at Liu Anan and said nothing, continuing to spin the chair.
As he spun, he seemed to feel that Mianmian, sitting quietly against the wall, was too quiet. He called out softly, "Hey, I heard you’re good at fortune-telling."
Mianmian turned her head to look at Situ Zha and asked with curiosity, "Heard? Where did you hear that from?"
Situ Zha smiled, "Why don’t you tell my fortune, and see what kind I have?"
Mianmian pouted her lips.
She couldn’t see Situ Zha’s future, only his past. Situ Zha’s past had been steady, growing up safely, just without much fate with anyone other than his mother.
"Why aren’t you talking? What’s with that mouth?" Situ Zha mimicked Mianmian, pursing his lips and getting face to face with her.
Mianmian, stared at directly by Situ Zha, didn’t back away but reached out and gently pushed him, "Don’t get so close to Mianmian."
As it turned out, her strength was too light, and she failed to move Situ Zha at all.
Situ Zha chuckled, "You’re so weak you can’t even predict my fate; I don’t think you’re that impressive."
Hearing herself mocked for being weak, Mianmian’s stubborn temper flared up, "Then what if Mianmian managed to push you over, what then?"
Situ Zha cocked his head.
He was actually a very cute boy, with a lot of baby fat on his face—a typical child’s face. But his hair was very short, buzz-cut, so he seemed fierce.
Now, because Mianmian said she could push him over, he bared his teeth at her, as if he considered it for a while before saying, "If you can push me over, I’ll admit you’re a bit impressive."
Mianmian nodded.
She centered her qi in her lower abdomen, and this time put about half her strength into pushing Situ Zha.
Situ Zha was still smiling, but suddenly, a strong force came through his chest.
He had been firmly grounding himself with his feet, holding up his body, thinking Mianmian couldn’t possibly push him over, but to his surprise, she really did!
His face showed astonishment as he fell to the ground, tumbling over in his chair.
Mianmian lifted her little chin, "See, Mianmian said you were going to be pushed over, it’s because you were too close to Mianmian that she pushed you, don’t blame Mianmian, okay?"
Liu Anan hadn’t expected the two little ones to suddenly make such a commotion.
She hurried over to Situ Zha’s side, wanting to help him up.
But the stubborn little guy refused her support and stood up on his own, leaning on the chair with a frown, looking as though he had suffered a huge blow.
"You’re stronger than me?!" Situ Zha’s tone was full of disbelief, "No, we have to compete again!"
As he spoke, he crouched next to the chair, placing his little arms on it. "Arm wrestling, how about that?"
Mianmian was about to answer Situ Zha when she heard the sound of footsteps.
Teacher Liao approached, looking stern, "How can you two be causing such a fuss during time to reflect? Situ Zha, move your chair over there to sit."
Situ Zha ignored Teacher Liao completely, just kept staring at Mianmian.
His dark eyes were filled with stubbornness.
Mianmian turned back and glanced at her great-nephew Su Chenjin.
She had been criticized again, would her great-nephew broadcast the video to the family Group again? Phew, luckily her two great-grandnephews couldn’t see it, otherwise, where would her great-grand-aunt’s face go!
Thinking this, Mianmian picked up her chair and, lifting her foot, headed toward the other corner Teacher Liao had pointed to: "Mianmian was wrong too, Mianmian will go over there, Mianmian won’t make a fuss."
She couldn’t compete with Situ Zha anymore.
Little Bun once again reflected on her behavior.
She didn’t know why she wanted to compete with Situ Zha, maybe it was because Situ Zha was about her age and had punched a demon to death, so she wanted to see who was better?
Mom said that being competitive and impulsive was not good, and might lead to mistakes.
Mianmian placed down the little chair and this time sat obediently still.
Teacher Liao was communicating with Situ Zha: "Little Friend Zhazha, why don’t you want to listen to the teacher? If you keep making mistakes, the teacher will have to talk to your mom, you know."
Situ Zha glanced at Teacher Liao disdainfully: "Because teachers are all dummies. Go talk to my mom if you want, I’m used to it anyway."
Teacher Liao was confused: "Why would you say that?"
But Situ Zha didn’t explain and, picking up his chair, walked over to Mianmian, repeating the old trick and leaning into her face.
This time, Mianmian didn’t pay any attention to Situ Zha, she closed her eyes and sat silently like a little Monk meditating and chanting scriptures.
Seeing that Mianmian wasn’t paying him any attention, the excitement on Situ Zha’s face gradually dissipated, and he huffed before folding his arms and turning his back to her.
The two little ones ignored each other, which made Teacher Liao breathe a sigh of relief, and she turned around to prepare for the next activity. The next one was the real parent-child segment, where the Children had to run through a Cave built by the adults, overcome obstacles, and compete to see who was the best.
She had also prepared rewards, a fox doll for girls and a little car toy for boys.
Mianmian and Situ Zha were allowed to participate in this activity.
However, when Teacher Liao asked, she hit a wall again with Situ Zha.
"I don’t want to play the game, I just want to sit here," Situ Zha said with his nose in the air, his fair little face full of stubbornness.
Mianmian didn’t mind Situ Zha and pitter-pattered over to Su Chenjin, asking him, "Great-nephew, did you send the video of Mianmian being scolded to the Group?"
Su Chenjin nodded.
Mianmian looked resigned: "Now everyone knows Mianmian got scolded by the teacher, sigh."
She sighed with an air of maturity, hands clasped behind her back, a solemn expression on her face.
Su Chenjin’s gaze lingered on the tantrum-throwing Situ Zha for a moment, comforting Mianmian, "It’s okay, no one was laughing at you."
Mianmian felt reassured, grinned, and skipped over to Teacher Liao to line up for the new game.
As soon as she arrived, she heard Gu Youyou’s soft inquiry, "Mianmian, have you and Zhazha become good friends?"
Mianmian shook her head: "Nope, we’re not good friends."
She saw that Gu Youyou’s knees were red, bent down to blow on them, and looked up at her good friend, "Did you fall down just now? Does it still hurt?"
Gu Youyou nodded silently: "I wasn’t looking where I was going when I ran, but it’s okay, it doesn’t hurt after Mianmian blows on it."
Gu Youyou smiled happily.
It was okay that Mianmian hadn’t become friends with Situ Zha! She had seen Situ Zha and Mianmian standing so close together just before and thought they could have become good friends, which made her accidentally fall down.
It hurt a bit, but it really didn’t hurt anymore after Mianmian blew on it.
