"It seems like we need to get out of here." Bai Meiyue rubbed the space between her brows as she called Lei Qian, Xiao Wu and Shen Zhen for a meeting. There was no other choice around it.

Xiao Wu parted his lips, but when he thought about how Yu Miaomiao was trying to control Bai Meiyue and Lei Qian, he pursed his lips and sighed heavily before agreeing. He asked Bai Meiyue, "Where should we move for the time being?"

"I have already arranged a place," replied Bai Meiyue with a hint of a frown on her face. "You guys just need to make sure that you take everything to that mansion without anyone finding out. But before that we need to make sure that the mansion is safe for the child and the elderly to live in. We don’t want to cause trouble for ourselves."

Xiao Wu nodded and Shen Zhen agreed as well. She, however, turned to look at Bai Meiyue and asked her, "Are they going alone or are you going along with them?"

"How can I let them go alone?" Bai Meiyue remarked with an innocent look in her eyes. "I have to go with them; if not, then I am worried that they will make a mistake. After all, I am going to stay in this mansion as well. If I don’t go with them, how will I know that this place is good enough for me to raise my child?"

When Shen Zhen parted her lips to speak, Bai Meiyue parted her lips and said in a hurry, "Doctor Shen, think about it a little. I stayed at home all these days without making a fuss. However, if I stay cooped up anymore, I am worried that I will start getting depressed. I cannot stay holed up in my room anymore."

Once she finished speaking, Bai Meiyue didn’t forget to shoot a puppy-eye look to Shen Zhen.

Shen Zhen, as a doctor, knew how important it was for a soon-to-be mother to be happy and content with her life. So, when she heard Bai Meiyue say that she was feeling a bit upset after staying holed up in her room for weeks, she pursed her lips and agreed.

"Fine, you can go with them but make sure that you don’t lift anything heavy, there will be no running and just to make sure that you are following the guidelines, I will be going with you. You are supposed to stay in front of my eyes all the time. You cannot leave my sight at any time."

Bai Meiyue pursed her lips and crossed her fingers before saying, "I will not." And once she finished speaking, she was sure that Shen Zhen was smiling at her; at least she looked less stern than she was before.

"How are we going to move the entire team without Yu Miaomiao finding out?" Xiao Wu asked as he peered at the map. "This place is quite far from here, which is enough to put us out of harm’s way. However, the distance is what puts us in grave danger. If we are not careful, and Yu Miaomiao finds out that we are escaping her control, things might go wrong. Very... very wrong."

"We will arrange for a few more bases," said Lei Qian. "We have thirty ability users in our team. I will distribute these ability users in six teams and ask them to go and find several bases. At the same time, you will send six men with these teams and have them arrange a path that connects to the main base. This way, even if Yu Miaomiao cottons on to something, she will never be able to find the main base."

He raised his head and looked at Bai Meiyue before saying to her, "Don’t move your family for the time being, and I won’t move my family either. For the time being, I will arrange for some means to take the resources to the mansion that you have chosen."

"We will do this before the rules and laws become any stricter. If things go according to plan, it shouldn’t take more than four days."

"These men can’t stay out for long," said Xiao Wu with a frown on his face. "It will become suspicious if they don’t return in three or four days. From the looks of it, Yu Miaomiao is keeping a really close eye on our team."

"You are correct about this." Lei Qian clenched his teeth and agreed with what Xiao Wu said.

In the end, it was decided that they would send the six teams with the same purpose, but along with the command that they needed to find supplies as well. This way, they could put on a show that they didn’t have enough supplies and were rushing to hand them to Yu Miaomiao.

That should boost Yu Miaomiao’s ego a little.

Lei Qian then arranged for the supplies to be taken to the mansion. Of course, he didn’t hand the supplies to Bai Meiyue or anyone else. Instead, he handed these supplies to Lu Yu, Lei Yan, Bai Jixuan, Bai Zhan and the rest of the team members. He asked them to store these supplies in the temporary bases, from where they can carry them to the main bases in another trip. Taking it all to the main base would cause trouble, something that they don’t want.

As for the greenhouse and solar panels, they didn’t need to break them all up because the mansion that they had selected had all these facilities. They only needed to move the meat and vegetables. As for the excess meat and vegetables, they decided to go out and sell them to the survivors in exchange for crystal nuclei.

Just in case they had to go against Yu Miaomiao and her army of ability users, they needed to level up quickly. For that, they needed crystal nuclei; these could only be arranged by selling the extra supplies.
