Alpha's Rejected Mate Returns as Queen -
Chapter 752: Expelled
Chapter 752: Expelled
Yarin's POV:
Kris indeed was a person who bullied the weak and feared the strong. Seeing Ms. Maggie's firm attitude, even though he was unwilling, he had no choice but to follow her grudgingly.
Watching them gradually move away, I said to Heller, "Let's go too."
"Where? With them?"
"Exactly, the final step of the plan wouldn't be complete without both you and me."
The headmistress's office was on the top floor, with the art room and dance studio on the same level. Many students were pretending to go in and out of classrooms, but they were actually keeping an eye on any movement in the headmistress's office.
"Do you think Tooth Puncher will be expelled this time?" I heard someone discussing with their companion on the way.
"Who knows? If Ms. Maggie insists, maybe. But Tooth Puncher's family has a lot of influence. His grandfather is a minister to the queen! With the queen backing him, I don't think Ms. Maggie can do anything to him."
Wait a minute, what did he say?
The queen was backing Kris?
Where did this come from? How come I didn't know Mom was a support for the Cyril Family?
Kris's grandfather didn't even hold an official position, so how could they be confident that the Queen would support their family?
If it was previously assumed that the Cyril Family supported Kris's domineering behavior, now the problem has inexplicably shifted to involve my mom. This was getting quite interesting. It was possible that the Cyril Family wanted to raise their status by bringing in my mom's name, pretending to have royal influence.
This family's ambition was too great; they dared to use the royal family as a bargaining chip. Before, I just wanted to teach Kris a lesson, and now I needed to change my focus.
Heller and I stood in front of the headmistress's office for a while. We heard some arguing from inside, with Kris threatening Ms. Maggie, who was standing her ground.
"You are expelled, Mr. Cyril!" she said angrily. "Due to your terrible behavior in the school- bullying classmates, disrespecting teachers, damaging public facilities, promoting bad behavior-Sivir Academy no longer welcomes you. Your grandfather may hold influence, so I believe he can find you a better middle school."
Kris roared in disbelief, "How dare you expel me! I will have my grandfather fire you and exile you to the human society!"
Right at that moment, I knocked on the door and entered.
Everyone instantly looked at me.
Eden stared at me in surprise, and I smiled at him. Then, I addressed Ms. Maggie, "Apologies for the interruption, Ma'am. I overheard some arguing from your office. Is there anything I can help with?"
Since this was a school where only students and teachers were present, no one needed to bow to me or Heller. Seeing me, Ms. Maggie's expression softened a bit as she replied, "Thank you for your concern, Your Highness, but I can handle these matters."
I then turned my gaze to Kris, putting on a displeased and puzzled expression as I asked, "Mr. Cyril, why didn't you bow when you saw me?"
Kris was taken aback and instinctively started to bow, but then realized this was a school setting, so he weakly retorted, "In a school setting, where there are only students and teachers, I shouldn't bow to you, Your Highness."
"Oh, I see now," I said as if suddenly understanding. "So, based on your shouting and arguing with the headmistress earlier, I thought maybe these rules no longer apply, and we should now rank ourselves by status even within the school."
Even if Kris were a fool, he should've recognized that I was mocking him. His face turned red, he clenched his fists tightly, angrily glared at Ms. Maggie, and also shot a glance at Eden along the way.
Even though I was the one mocking him, he didn't dare unleash his anger on me.
With his half-fallen pants in hand, he resembled a bull that had rammed into a wall-dizzy, confused, and unwilling. He could only seethe in impotent rage toward the empty air.
I ignored him and simply told Ms. Maggie, "I just wanted to see if I can help with anything. Please don't mind me; continue your discussion."
Then, I pulled Heller to the side, positioning ourselves right next to Eden.
Ms. Maggie had regained her composure to some extent. She had been overwhelmed by Kris's behavior earlier, but now she calmly declared, "I will invite your grandfather to the school to discuss your expulsion.
"I've made my decision on this matter, and you don't need to think about using anyone to pressure me. Just as I said before, as long as I remain the headmistress, I will fulfill my responsibilities. Keeping a student like you at Sivir would disrupt the peace. "
Kris's response to her was much less polite, but he didn't dare be as overbearing with me around.
At this point, Heller also understood my intention, so he naturally spoke up, "Her Majesty the Queen values the atmosphere of Sivir. Mr. Cyril is a wise old man; I don't think he would behave as childishly at school as his grandson."
Laughter suddenly erupted outside the headmistress's office. It turned out that since we entered the room, some students had been eavesdropping from the corridor.
Ms. Maggie sternly dispersed them. I saw Autumn among the crowd, her brows furrowed, attentively observing the developments in the headmistress's office.
