Accidentally Reincarnated in Cultivation World -
Chapter 72: Strange Dream
Chapter 72: Strange Dream
When Yu Xuan descended the mountain, he noticed something new.
A small house now stood near the base — one that certainly hadn’t been there when he first arrived.
Its structure was simple but elegant, perfectly suited to the atmosphere of the Elemental Heaven Peak.
Beside the house stood Elder Kun, inspecting it with the quiet air of a seasoned carpenter, hands behind his back as if appraising his own craftsmanship.
As Yu Xuan approached, Elder Kun turned towards him and said, "It’s a modest house, but it contains all the essentials you’ll need. My work here is done."
Yu Xuan clasped his hands and bowed slightly. "Thank you for everything, Elder Kun. I truly appreciate it."
Elder Kun gave a faint, tired smile, then nodded and departed, vanishing into the distance quietly.
Yu Xuan gazed at the house for a moment, then stepped inside.
To his surprise, the interior was quite modern — almost identical to the residence he had stayed in when he first entered the sect.
It was just a bit more spacious, with extra rooms. There was a bedroom, a clean bathroom, a cozy dining area, and even a small kitchen tucked into the corner.
He looked at the kitchen, mildly confused.
"I thought I wouldn’t have to cook my own meals in a sect," he muttered. But seeing how isolated this peak was, he suspected he might need to reconsider. There wasn’t exactly a bustling market nearby.
Then a thought hit him, ’Maybe I should learn to cook spirit food.’
He frowned. ’But where would I even learn that?’
Yu Xuan shoved the question to the back of his mind and leaned against the wall, letting the events of the past few days replay in his head.
First, he had arrived at the Heaven Immortal Sect.
Then he went on a hunting trip with his fellow Yu clan disciples.
Shortly after, they parted ways to head to their respective peaks.
He met Po, the panda from Pandemonium. Then — chaos. He ended up surrounded by minor peak masters.
And finally, the true big shot, the Elemental Heaven Peak Master, made her appearance... and accepted him as her personal disciple.
Elder Kun even gave him a ride on his sword.
Now, here he was — alone, in his very own residence atop a major peak.
"Too much has happened today," he sighed, rubbing his temple.
He was mentally exhausted. Without another thought, he appeared beside the bed and gave it a gentle tap.
To his pleasant surprise, it was even softer and fluffier than the one before.
’How luxurious’, he thought — and then his body surrendered.
The moment his head touched the pillow, the bed did its magic.
Yu Xuan drifted off to sleep instantly...

Clad in shimmering golden armor, a hero stood alone on a battlefield soaked in dusk light.
A dark sword, humming with restrained power, rested in his grip as he gazed upon the sea of demons that encircled him — thousands of them, ready to tear him apart.
It hadn’t always been like this.
Once, after slaying the Evil Dragon and saving the world, he was hailed as a savior.
Seven royal princesses had wept in joy and pledged themselves to him, their hearts fluttering with admiration.
But then came their father — their oh-so-wise ruler, King Cunnington The Clueless VII.
With all the grace of a man who couldn’t locate his own kingdom on a map, he declared that the hero was unfit to marry his daughters.
After all, he reasoned, the man saved the world, not the kingdom.
Geography had never been his strong subject.
The princesses protested. Tearfully, they vowed never to wed another if they couldn’t marry the hero. Their determination was unshakable.
King Cunnington’s royal heart remained a stone.
But a father’s heart? That... wavered.
Before his royal court, he muttered, "Lucky bastard," and relented — just barely.
With his signature cunning smile, he proposed a task so absurd it would all but guarantee the hero’s failure:
"Defeat the Ruler of the Demon Realm, and only then may you marry my daughters."
The King Cunnington The Clueless VII was brutal and cruel.
Still, the hero — who specialized in impossible feats and had a certified Degree of it, accepted the challenge without hesitation.
He met each of the seven princesses before his departure. With handkerchiefs, kisses, and heartfelt blessings, they sent him off on his perilous journey.
Alone, but not unblessed, the hero ventured into the demon realm.
Obstacles came and went — but none could match his unwavering resolve.
Upon reaching the dark dominion, he quickly discovered that stealth was the best approach and infiltrated the ruler’s castle.
What he didn’t know was this: in the demon realm, nothing went unnoticed by the supreme ruler.
She had already sensed his arrival the moment he set foot in her land. But curious about the man who defeated her prized dragon, she decided to play along... to test him.
As the hero entered the throne hall, he was greeted by a vast army — demons of all shapes and sizes, surrounding him from every direction.
With a bored expression, the hero muttered, "Small fries. Always annoying. Good for EXP farming but too bad I’m already max level."
He raised his sword, and mental enchantment swept across the room. One by one, the demons froze where they were, their minds whisked into fantasies of their own making — some dancing, some crying, some imagining they were famous pastry chefs.
The path cleared.
Before the hero stood the ornate, towering doors to the ruler’s chamber. The aura behind them was overwhelming, regal, and ancient...
He walked up to the doors.
BAM—
With a deafening crack, they burst open.
The hero heard a sweet feminine voice:
"Welcome hero to my world, I hope you didn’t find it hard to come here, after all I have a debt to collect from you for defeating my pet dragon"
