Accidentally Reincarnated in Cultivation World -
Chapter 63: Irregular
Chapter 63: Irregular
As always, the last one left was Yu Xuan.
Elder Kun gestured for him to step forward.
Yu Xuan calmly walked up and placed his medallion on the crystal ball first.
The moment Elder Kun saw the medallion, his eyes flashed with surprise.
’An Irregular...’ he thought.
Irregulars were extremely rare — a phenomenon that had only occurred a handful of times throughout the sect’s vast history.
Looking at the youth in front of him, Elder Kun instinctively had high expectations.
’Let’s see what surprise this one brings.’
He was quietly grateful that he’d chosen to seal his cultivation and come here physically rather than sending a clone like most of the other elders and peak masters.
There had been subtle changes in the destiny of several lower realms lately, and the old man from the Celestial Heaven Peak had cryptically warned that something... something was coming, whether good or bad, they didn’t know now for sure.
Now, Yu Xuan placed his hand on the crystal.
He felt a faint probing sensation wash over him.
He didn’t resist.
A moment later, the holographic screen shimmered to life, displaying:
[Spiritual Root: Immortal Grade]
[Affinity: All Elements]
Yu Xuan first thought was simple, ’That’s... wrong.’
Something felt off.
The device didn’t even display his physique.
He knew there were ranks above Immortal — Celestial, for example. His sister boasted endlessly about possessing a Celestial-grade physique. And he? His was something far beyond that.
So why did his spiritual root show only Immortal?
Was the device faulty? Or... was it simply incapable of reading deeper?
Just to be sure, he mentally called out:
’Status.’

Looking at it again, Yu Xuan frowned slightly.
His spiritual root was marked clearly as Origin (EX) — something far beyond what this sect’s device could seem to comprehend.
So was there an auto-concealment effect within the system? Was the probe blocked passively? Or... was the device itself simply too limited?
He didn’t have time to think further.
Because at that moment — Elder Kun suddenly shouted:
"A natural one?! How is this possible?!"
The crowd stirred.
A natural all-elemental affinity.
Even in the most powerful of sects, such a talent was equivalent to drawing a super ultra rare god tier legendary card in a card game.
Cultivators could acquire elemental affinities through bloodline refinement, or treasure fusions — but someone born with a natural affinity to all elements?
That was nearly unheard of. The only one Elder Kun knew was the peak master of Elemental Heaven peak itself.
Even spiritual roots could be artificially improved here, but affinity — true affinity — could not be faked.
Yu Xuan caught the medallion as it popped back out of the crystal.
He barely had time to inspect it.
Because the next moment—
Multiple powerful auras surged into the room.
Far more than last time.
Some were even more terrifying than those that had appeared for the panda.
The pressure grew dense, and the room itself trembled under the weight of competing forces.
The air turned heavy. Walls shimmered. The space itself began to distort.
The room was now on the brink of collapse.
The only one with a bad look was Elder Kun thinking the fate of this room is to be destroyed today.

Xuan’s Chronicles: My Ordinary life.
It’s been a few days since I went adventuring with Lingluo into the back mountain.
Having been there once, I’ve gotten a rough idea of the forest’s nature.
It seems the forest is incapable of harming me — or, more precisely, anyone connected to the Yu Clan. I suspect the forest has a spirit of its own.
I couldn’t sense it directly, but I, Yu Xuan, am far too perceptive to be fooled.
Even when I used [Telekinesis] to save us both, I noticed something odd — the river actually helped us. And in this world, rivers having spirits isn’t all that uncommon.
If I had to describe it in Earth terms, these kinds of places are like protected sanctuaries. Cultivators tend to leave destruction in their wake, so someone — or something — has to clean up after them.
That "someone" ends up being Mother Nature herself. It’s not surprising that nature eventually manifests a will of its own.
I’ve read in the clan library that most of these natural spirits take on a female form because the Dao designated the title of [Nurturer] to females only. That part remains a mystery to me.
Maybe... because a group of men is called "irresponsible"?
I am open to that debate.
Anyway, I left that philosophical thoughts for another time.
With a few candies in my pouch and a stick in hand, I headed to the Eastern Garden first.
There, beneath the shade of vibrant spirit trees, I passed the time by shaping clouds in the sky — letting my imagination drift freely.
Feeling freedom, I shouted, "I am the Emperor!!! Hahah...."
Then later, as per my own tradition, I resumed my favorite pastime: poking the koi fish with my stick.
There was one in particular koi fish — slightly different from the others, with blue patterns tracing along its body.
Unlike the rest, which usually swam away when bothered, this one always came back at me, with eyes full of anger.
Its persistence amused me.
I felt that, the koi understood that I was annoying it.
So I liked that particular koi even more.
In fact, I began feeding it occasionally. Even when angry, it never refused food.
Something tells me... our future is going to intertwine someday.
