Accidental Marriage With Mr Billioniare
Chapter 252: SOIL HER NAME

Chapter 252: SOIL HER NAME

Astrid sat silently in her room, her eyes fixed on some distant point as tears streamed down her face. She was lost in thought, her mind consumed by the pain and anguish that had been building up inside her.

Julian had tried his best to get inside to comfort her but it felt like he was weakening the situation so he thought the best solution for this was to just let her be.

Like always his phone buzzed and it was coming from his assistant, he picked up and then Ryan’s voice rang out.

"Boss... the whole meeting had been settled, as the preview would be sent for you to view. Luckily the stick keeps increasing." he sighed at this news, if only he was in the office with them but he couldn’t because his wife is going through the pain he couldn’t fathom how he could have the heart to go.

"Good," he mumbled and Ryan nodded his head, "I will send tomorrow’s schedule for you, hoping you can meet up." Ryan let out and Julain didn’t give a response.

"Boss, is there something you would like to tell me?" he asked this time seeing Julain hasn’t hung up and is also not saying any word.

"I want to know every one of Mattie’s whereabouts, including that of Stephan."

"Consider it done boss," Ryan announced and Julain took a deep breath.

"Good job and Thank you," Julain asserted and Ryan could swear he felt something was wrong with his phone.

"Are you sure that is my..." his words were cut shut when he hung up the phone and pocketed his phone

Astrid on the other end was listening to Julian’s conversation as her thoughts were a jumbled mess of emotions, her heart heavy with grief.

She had thought she was getting over the pain, but the revelation that Mattie had killed her mother had left her speechless and reeling.

Her head rested on her knee, beside the door, as she struggled to come to terms with the truth.

Just then, she heard Larry’s voice as he talked to Julain, like always her ear perked up.

Larry handed Julian a report, and Julian looked toward the door. "It’s the result of the DNA test," he said, his voice low and somber.

Julian took the report and nodded his head. "You can leave." Larry showed courtesy and left.

"Astrid, would you like to read the report yourself or I should help you with it?" Stride raised her head and took in a deep breath, but didn’t utter a word.

Julian took it as a cue to open it, his eyes scanning the pages as he searched for the truth.

The first DNA test result showed no match between Astrid and Landon, the percentage for the match was 0.00 percent. He didn’t know when he breathed out a sigh of relief as he read this.

The second test result, between Mattie and Astrid, also showed no match.

He proceeded with the third test report between Mattie and Landon.

There was a strong match, indicating that Mattie and Landon were indeed father and daughter.

Astrid took a deep breath, her eyes fixed on Julian as she slowly opened the door.

She looked up at him, her eyes searching for answers. "What is the answer?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Julian’s expression was grim as he delivered the news. "Mattie and Landon are father and daughter. You’re not related to either of them."

Astrid’s face crumpled as the truth sank in. She felt weak and vulnerable and was a bit happy to hear that she wasn’t the daughter of a killer.

"What can I do?" she asked, her voice trembling at the thought of how she could deal with Mattie.

Julian pulled her up, his arms wrapping around her. "Leave it to me, I’ll handle it," he said, his voice soft and reassuring.

"No, Julian... I can’t..." She wailed in pain, her body shaking with sobs. "My mother was supposed to still be alive... she was supposed to live, she was supposed to be here seeing her daughter happy."

"I won’t give her a simple punishment. I want Mattie to pay... life for life. I don’t care what I have to do."

Julian knew that this wasn’t the best time to reason with Astrid, so he simply agreed with her, holding her close as she cried out her emotions in his arms.

He stroked her hair, trying to comfort her, but Astrid’s pain was too deep, too raw.

She was consumed by her grief, and Julian could only hold her, letting her tears wash away some of the pain.

"Let’s go inside," Julain finally said and before she could talk he scooped her from the ground, walked into the room, and gently sat with Astrid still wrapped around his arm.

Just then a knock came in, "Sir... Dr. Lee is here," one of the maids announced, Julain told him to come in, he had been so worried for Astrid that he needed to call Dr. Lee immediately.

Astrid’s eyes fluttered open, her gaze locking onto Dr Lee as he walked in "Why is he here?" she asked Julain who only smiled.

"Relax.." he mumbled, "I just need him to sedate you, so you can have a nice rest, you haven’t slept in two days."

Astrid eyes almost bulged out of the socket, "What? No.. I am fine." she grumbled but was too weak to argue.

Julian gestured for Dr. Lee to do his job and he smiled. Just as He pulled out a syringe from his bag pack, Astrid stiffened, her head jerking up from Julian’s chest.

"No, no, no," she whispered, her voice trembling. "I don’t want an injection."

Julian’s hands cradled her face, his thumbs stroking her cheeks as he leaned in close. "Shh, love, it’s okay. Just relax. Dr. Lee is here to help you sleep."

Astrid’s eyes darted to Julian’s, her gaze pleading. "I don’t want to sleep. I don’t want the injection."

Julian’s lips brushed against her ear, his breath sending shivers down her spine. "You need to rest, Astrid. You’re exhausted. Just close your eyes and trust me."

Astrid’s eyelids fluttered shut, her body relaxing into Julian’s touch. Dr. Lee moved in, the syringe glinting in the light. Astrid’s eyes snapped open, her gaze fixed on the needle.

"No!" she whispered, her body tensing.

Julian’s lips claimed hers, his kiss soft and gentle. "Shh, Love It’s okay."

As Julian’s kiss deepened, Astrid’s body relaxed, her muscles releasing their tension. Dr. Lee quickly administered the injection, and Astrid’s eyelids drooped, her body sinking into the mattress.

Julian’s eyes relaxed seeing how her body was going limp, "Finally," he mumbled.

"Mr Logan, she should sleep for about 6-8 hours. Make sure she’s in a comfortable position and keep an eye on her temperature."

Julian nodded, his eyes never leaving Astrid’s peaceful face. "Got it. What about fluids? Should I give her water or something?"

Dr. Lee nodded. "Yes, that’s a good idea. Give her small sips of water every few hours. And if she starts to feel nauseous or dizzy, call me immediately."

Julian nodded again, his brow furrowed with concern. "What about her emotions? How will she be when she wakes up?"

Dr. Lee’s expression turned serious. "She’s going to need time to process everything. Be patient with her, and let her know that you’re there for her. If she starts to feel overwhelmed or anxious, call me and I’ll come over to help."

Julian nodded, his eyes locked onto Astrid’s face. "I will take care of her, Dr. Lee. Thank you for everything."

As Dr. Lee left, Julian gently helped Astrid lay back on the bed. He wiped her face with a cool cloth, his touch soothing.

He helped her change into a comfortable dress, his hands gentle as he smoothed out the fabric.

When he was done, he pulled out his phone and texted Ryan. "Reveal to the world that Astrid is the real Adam. Mattie is fake, add more story to soil Mattie’s name. Guess it’s time I stop thinking she is innocent."
