"The award goes to the Rising Star, New Model Sensation, and .. Astrid Logan!" With this announcement, the whole crowd stood up cheering and applauding for Astrid, as she made her way to the stage, beaming with pride and gratitude.

The light shone on all the dresses worn by Astrid, as she walked out in the purple beautiful dress.

She was never expecting a gift, she had only planned to walk for her show. She received the beautiful award, embracing Maren.

Astrid stood on stage, clutching her award tightly, her eyes welling up with tears. She took a deep breath and began her speech.

"I am truly humbled to be receiving this award. I want to thank my amazing team for their hard work and dedication. And to my new fans, your support means the world to me."

She smiled, her voice filled with emotion. "To my husband, Julian, you are my rock, my partner. Thank you for being my everything."

Astrid’s eyes met Maren’s. "And to my dear best friend, Maren, your friendship means the world to me. Thank you for being there for me, always."

The audience erupted into applause as Astrid finished her speech, holding her award tightly to her chest.

She walked into the backstage area, still in shock since she was expecting an award. "Congratulations Astrid... you deserve it." The remaining models congratulated her.

They were all ecstatic about her performance, but Mattie’s expression says otherwise.

Mattie rushed toward Astrid with bleary furry in her eyes. "You did this to me! You are not supposed to take home any award!" She shrieked, her voice shaking with rage.

"You put something in the water, didn’t you?"

Astrid, taken aback by Mattie’s outburst, quietly shook her head.

"Mattie, I don’t know what you’re talking about," she said, trying to calm her down.

But the next minute Mattie slapped Astrid across the face, causing the people who were present to gasp in shock.

"You ruined my chances of shining tonight!" Mattie screamed. "You’re always so perfect, Astrid. But tonight, you’re going to pay for what you did to me!" she yelled, grabbing Astrid by her hair, and immediately... phones were pulled out as they began capturing the moment.

Stephan, who had been watching the exchange, stepped forward. "Mattie, what’s going on here?" he asked, his voice calm.

Mattie turned to him, her eyes welling up with tears. "Astrid put something in the water," she repeated. "She ruined my show. I drank the water and now what happened to me!"

Stephan turned to Astrid, his eyes questioning. "Astrid, is this true?" he asked.

Astrid shook her head, her eyes wide with innocence. "No, Stephan, I don’t know what Mattie is talking about," she said. "I left my water on her desk mistakenly. I wasn’t even expecting Mattie to drink it. And I certainly didn’t put anything in it." Astrid explained as murmurs erupted.

Just what she wanted, playing Mattie’s game against her, acting innocent, and making them all believe she is innocent.

Mattie’s face turned red with rage. "You’re lying!" she screamed, moving toward Astrid and slapping her again.

This time, Miles and Maren intervened, rushing to separate the two women. "Mattie, stop this!" Miles exclaimed. "You’re being ridiculous, Astrid is not going to do such a thing!" Miles screamed at Mattie.

Maren turned to Astrid, concern etched on her face. "Astrid, are you okay?" she asked.

Astrid nodded, her eyes welling up with tears. "I am fine, Maren," she said. "But Mattie needs to calm down. She’s being irrational, I only want to be friends with her... she is my cousin after all." she pouted her lips feigning crocodile tears.

"See, she must be mad because Astrid won the award," one of the girls murmured and the rest followed suit.

"Enough videos you all should leave!" Miles announced, but one of them stood their ground.

"No! We are not... are you supporting her now because she is your sister? As sfecakwats bully Astrid this way all these while and keep feigning innocence?" another asked and that was like a last straw for Mattie.

"Hey! Don’t you Hutt in if you don’t know what has transpired between us!" Mattie yelled but they mocked her.

"Hey, she isn’t that way. She is just furious because she thought I would hurt her." Astrid let out most calmly.

"Astrid you don’t have to prove that, it is sown already, after all, your husband is Julain Logan he would deal with her!" Astrid let out a small smirk as she shook her head.

"No... It’s a lie, Astrid is a scheming bitch! She is lying!" Mattie tried to explain but no one was ready to listen to her.

Mattie, still fuming, turned to Miles. "I want to see the CCTV footage," she demanded. "I want to prove that Astrid put something in the water."

Miles hesitated, unsure of what to do. But before he could respond, Mattie handed Astrid the water bottle. "Fine, if you can’t watch it... Drink this water." She challenged me. "If you’re so innocent, then drink the water."

Astrid hesitated, as she shook her head, "I can’t. I am cautious of things I take that are not coming from my house." Mattie chuckled at this.

"Oh please, you are just a lucky country bumpkin, take this and prove to everyone you didn’t do something to the water," Mattie yelled.

"Yeah, Astrid, you should take it," Stephan added, still trying to control the fact that his parents would be mad at him knowing he had ended up with Mattie who kept bringing more disgrace to their name.

"Stephan, it’s not that I can’t take it... but it’s conning from Mattie, she had once given me something I am allergic to, I am sorry that I can’t trust her." She explained playing with her fingers and Mattie’s eyes widened.

"Wh... what?"

Miles glanced at Astrid, "What? How come you didn’t say a word about it." Astrid shook her head with a small smile.

"No, it’s past that already," she murmured.

"Wow! She is such a demon." everyone whispered around and Maren could only sigh frustratedly she didn’t know things would be escalating this way.

"I get that I did that but that was because she took my man, I promised I didn’t do anything with this water, but she did." Mattie pointed at Astrid whose eyes held innocence.

"What’s going on here?" they heard Julain’s familiar authoritative voice demand.

Mattie turned to him, instantly explaining, "Astrid put something in the water," she repeated. "And I want her to drink it to prove she’s innocent since she refused not to do so."

Julian’s eyes narrowed. "Astrid doesn’t need to prove anything," he said. "And she’s not going to drink anything that might harm her."

"Julian, why are you supporting her? She is a devil." Julian nodded his head, "Fine, isn’t it just drinking!"

Julian let out grabbed the water bottle from Mattie’s hand and drank the entire contents in one gulp leaving everyone speechless.

"There," he said, throwing the bottle to the ground. "Ju... Julian.." Mattie stuttered.

"The one I trust most is my wife, I believe whatever she says ten times more than yours!" he yelled, making the room fall silent.
