(6200)_3 “Eh?
You’re here, Ian!”
At this moment, a lively voice could be heard speaking in the common tongue with a bit of an accent, hinting at a Northern ethnicity: “Come in, come in, I have something great to show you!”
Ian slightly furrowed his brows; he vaguely remembered that the red-haired elf woman’s artificial body used by Sio before seemed to have an accent from Canaan Moore, and Red-haired Mountaineers didn’t have a Northern accent…
Has Sio changed bodies again?
But, something great?
With curiosity, Ian opened the door and entered Sio’s artificial body lab.
Then he saw a face.
A familiar face.
The face of Ian himself.
“…”
Ian’s eyelids twitched slightly; although he had anticipated it, he was still somewhat surprised upon seeing it— the red-haired Dragon Maiden was wearing a platinum-colored long dress, her fair arms and slender collarbones exposed, and her flaming red hair cascaded down quietly, not like blazing flames, but rather like blood turned to ice, giving a sense of crystalline ethereality.
And around her slender neck hung a silver-black Dragon Scale pendant, making her skin appear even whiter.
The Dragon Maiden’s eyes were not the aqua blue like Ian’s, but rather a brilliant golden like the sun.
Sio was clearly adjusting her artificial body, and overall, using Ian’s face as the model gave the facial features a colder and more austere feel than the face modeled after Anfa, probably because that’s the impression Ian had left on Sio.
But it might not be the case—Anfa himself was also a calm person, yet he could show a silly side to Sio, which goes to show that appearances are reflections of the heart, and even with the same face, the essence of the core cannot be hidden.
“How about it, how about it, does it look alike!”
Sio, excitedly examining herself in a surround mirror, turned her head back to Ian, studied the young man’s face for a while, and then got a little downcast: “Ah, what’s wrong…
I felt like I almost had it, but upon seeing you in person, it feels like I’ve completely missed the essence…”
“It lacks your aura; it’s merely ordinary good looks!”
“Of course,” Ian quipped: “Aside from my face, you changed to red hair, added elf ears, and even color contact lenses…
Besides, if I were a woman, I wouldn’t wear a dress like an evening gown, at most it would be a white lab coat, or an Alchemist’s Robe.”
“Adding too many elements can cause conflicts, or influence each other, naturally it has little to do with me but rather it’s your own aesthetic.”
“Is that so.” After pondering, Sio nodded in agreement: “Then what do you think of my aesthetic?”
“Your aesthetic happens to be quite similar to my former boss,” Ian concisely evaluated, while Sio curiously asked: “How so?
Does he also like pointed ears, or glowing pupils?
Personally, I quite prefer adding a tail and dragon horns as well, but that way it doesn’t look much like a human, making it difficult to move around in the human world, only feasible among the Mountain People…”
“No.
I’m just talking about the red hair.”
Ian and Sio casually chatted about the pure-love red-haired Viscount Grant, successfully steering the conversation off to another world—Sio actually understood Viscount Grant quite well because dragons are similar in that respect.
However, Ian soon brought the topic back on track: “I don’t mind you using my face as a model for your artificial body, since others can tell it’s not me, but…”
He narrowed his eyes slightly, contemplating the face that resembled siblings with his own, and mused: “Rather than that, if people could recognize it as me, it might actually be useful…”
“Interesting!”
At that thought, Ian suddenly became intrigued, he pointed to the hair, asking Sio: “Can the hair color be changed?”
“Of course, just need to adjust it a bit.”
Sio briskly shook her head, and then her fiery blood-ice red hair turned pure white—although slightly different in tint from Ian’s hair color, to the average person, it would be unnoticeable at a glance.
And if necessary, it could quickly be adjusted to be exactly the same.
“How about the eye color?” Ian’s eyes brightened, he inquired further.
And Sio blinked, instantly shifting her eyes to match Ian’s aqua blue.
Now, from a distance, they really looked like siblings.
“Excellent!”
Ian stood up, genuinely pleased: “Sio, I need your help with something!”
“Helping out is definitely not a problem, but just to be clear, I can’t mimic your usual way of speaking and behaving—nor can I adapt to your living habits!”
Sio wasn’t naive; she guessed Ian’s intention from the beginning…
It was nothing more than wanting the Dragon to impersonate him with an artificial body, such things have happened in history before, once a King asked his True Dragon friend to replace him on the battlefield as the central force to rally the troops, while he himself led the elite Sublimation Squad to strike at the enemy from behind.
But such events are rare…
because if you could have a True Dragon to disguise as your substitute, why not let the True Dragon simply crush the opponents directly?
The King from that time didn’t know his friend was a True Dragon, assuming it was just a Sublimator great at disguises, and the True Dragon didn’t want to reveal his true identity, which was why it happened.
As for Ian’s request, Sio naturally was willing, but if it meant learning Ian’s living habits, that sure wouldn’t do, as he worked far too hard, always busy with work and research.
Playing such a role would be exhausting and definitely impossible to imitate perfectly!
