(6200, second update) ——Our family has fallen.

Generations have passed, and no one remembers the glory our family once held.

Within the high walls of the Imperial Capital, the heart of The Empire, were our name and ancestral home.

That ancient and majestic mansion stood at the core of the Imperial Capital, where many scholars and knights were born.

The greatest explorers and adventurers had settled there, and none could rival our knowledge in exploring the Labyrinth.

But this generation was born on the farthest frontier of The Empire.

Our companions were the sea, the dense forests, and the Natives, constantly living under the threat of death and storms.

Ignorant, uninformed.

We have lost all glory.

Many of us, including you and me, have parents who spent their lives on this land.

Unlike our ancestors who had witnessed the family’s most glorious moments and its eventual decline, they could only wait aimlessly as time passed by.

They rotted in silence and withered away without a sound.

But we are different.

Young clansmen, I have been to the Imperial Capital.

I have just returned from there, and this Armor Suit and strength are part of the legacy I retrieved from there, a cornerstone of our family’s once glorious annotation.

Yes.

In the Imperial Capital, our family’s ruins have vanished, as if they had never existed.

But that is not important.

Because unlike our glory-lost ancestors, unlike our ignorant parents who lived their lives in ignorance…

We are the young generation, the generation destined to rise!

We will rebuild our family’s honor——

“It starts right here, right now.”

On the outskirts of Nauman City, standing on top of his own Armor Suit’s cockpit, the young White Folk raised his right arm and clenched his fist upwards in front of the lined-up team members who were watching him.

His proclaimed voice was like a running river: not loud, but overpowering all the noise.

All the White Folk soldiers stood straight, their Armored Clothing shining brightly, and the spears in their hands or the longswords at their waists were the newest models.

These young men stood tall and proud, undergoing the inspection of someone even younger than themselves, yet more accomplished, and the future head of their family.

“But now, there’s a trouble that must be overcome standing before us.”

His blue eyes swept over each face looking up at him, their expressions barely able to contain their excitement.

Ian’s voice was calm, but his tone carried an inexplicable power of motivation: “The start of our family’s future rise lies to the west of the Agate Stone Plains, south of the pass at Solitary Flame Peak, in a plantation.

Most of you have heard of it—it is indeed our future foundation.”

“A group of Mountain People rogues has occupied it, greedily plundering the wealth that rightfully belongs to us—according to the Scouts’ reports, they’re continuously transporting away the Alchemy Materials that the Baron once stored, brutally destroying our Talle and plantations, and taking them away.”

“Can this be tolerated?

To let a group of thieves who only know how to steal to run rampant like this?”

Ian spread his arms to the crowd, “We have overcome great storms, crushed Behemoths five stories high, we have contained the Natives’ fierce assaults, and completely defeated them——A mere group of weak Mountain People, cowards who haven’t fought a battle in one hundred and fifty years, dare to do such a thing to us?”

For some reason, the soldiers looked dazed at that moment, memories of two great storms from their young and adolescent years, the Dragon Head of a huge crocodilian that breached the city walls, and the ghostly figures that passed through the city, came flooding back.

But all these shadows had been annihilated, stopped.

Defeated by the hands of the young but majestic youth before them!

Yes, they are the war-hardened ones, risking their lives with every venture, who have battled the Natives day and night—why should they fear those Mountain People who hadn’t fought a battle in over a hundred years?!

Watching this scene, Ian’s lips curled up in an almost imperceptible arc, his blue eyes reflecting a clear deep green, representing either goodwill or the highest display of loyalty.

Although it was just a momentary frenzy, that wasn’t important.

Seizing the momentum, Ian made a gesture of slashing with a sword, “I am Ian—I will lead you to eradicate them.

Just like exterminating pests in our home.”

“This is the first step to reclaiming our glory.”

“Eradicate them!”

“Ian!

Ian!

Ian!”

The soldiers roared deafeningly, inexplicably impassioned, even though Ian’s speech was just passable and his inspirational ability only decent.

But for some aberrant reason, these White Folks teared up, even raising their weapons, calling out the young man’s name.

Standing next to Ian’s Armor Suit, Scott looked bewildered, and almost shocked at the scene, completely unable to understand why such a bizarre phenomenon was happening.

When Ian had led the team to the suburbs in his Armor Suit, Scott assumed he would give a brief talk and find a camp to wait for the larger forces led by Green Tide to converge.

But the young man simply spoke a few words and drove this group of young White Folk soldiers into a frenzy, their voices hoarse as they screamed for the elimination of the detestable Mountain People bandits, eager to rush to the Leyan Territory and annihilate them all!

——Is it Spirit Energy?

This is almost like brainwashing, isn’t it?!

Or is this the spirit of the White Folks’ family?

Do they really want to revive so much?!

Scott watched in horror as one frenzied soldier swung his weapon in his hand as if it were a twig—this was definitely not normal; that was an Ironwood spear, hardly less than full metal.
