Chapter 405 - 405 376 Second Power Level Fairy Bloodline 33
405: Chapter 376: Second Power Level Fairy Bloodline (3/3) 405: Chapter 376: Second Power Level Fairy Bloodline (3/3) Until Ian left Baron Leyan’s castle and returned to the lodging building of the Platinum Iridium Workshop, he still had not figured out the dissonance he felt inside the castle.
Mysteries abounded in Leyan Territory, with even more packed within Baron Leyan’s castle, leaving one not knowing where to start.
“Four children with Awakened Spiritual Power—three of them undergoing unusually cruel torture is one thing, but how did the Baron’s own child awaken their Spiritual Powers?
Speaking of which, where is the Baroness?
Could it be that the Baron is a single father, raising four children?
Isn’t that a bit too tormenting?”
Shaking the bottle emitting a bright and beautiful Xia Hui of Spirit Energy nourishing extract in front of his eyes, Ian gazed at the dazzling brilliance of the Spiritual Energy.
A somewhat perplexed thought crossed his mind, “Putting that aside, the Baron’s arm is another weird thing.
Even if he wanted to fake a tough battle to shirk responsibility, there was no need to actually cut off his own arm.”
“Second Energy Level, without a Regeneration Core or any related Sublimation Organ, it would take months to regrow.”
“As for Anfa, who came in disguise as an ‘Elves Scholar’, and the ‘Radiant Nun’ from Embrace Light, who was investigating the cultists, these two fellows, one is suspicious and the other causes worry.”
“What, is the Baron the leader of the cult, now planning to use the Crystal Skull to pass on the Prophet’s inheritance of the Mountain People to his own children?
But that wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing; there’s nothing inside the Crystal Skull that could harm anyone, despite its slightly sinister appearance, it’s essentially a very orthodox vessel of inheritance.”
“Prophet’s inheritance, even with many restrictions, people are scrambling for it, not to mention his family’s very sincere affection…
Baron Leyan, is truly a good father.”
Although Ian’s instincts were telling him that the scent of conspiracy was nearly spilling over.
But in fact, at most, Baron Leyan was involved in pilfering his own stores in a fire dragon barn burning, and it wasn’t food, just Spiritual Power materials.
In the world of nobility, such an act couldn’t be said to be rare, rather it was quite common.
Before heading to the Baron’s castle, Ian had not intended to meddle in other people’s business, because he had not seen any dangerous outcomes using his Foresight View.
If it’s just the fire dragon barn burning, then let it be; he is not the Imperial Emperor right now, so why should he care?
At the very least, he would have to become an Inspector Knight and possess the authority to enforce the law before concerned himself with it.
But after seeing the Skull of Momentary Insignificance, he started to have doubts.
He doubted whether the future he had seen was being disturbed by this artifact of Prophet’s inheritance.
Indeed, just now, he used his Foresight View to survey the surrounding streets, paying a considerable toll of fatigue, to see that the city was thriving, with stable and positive development.
But upon further reflection, this trend required “ignoring” the Skull of Momentary Insignificance.
And given the importance of the Skull of Momentary Insignificance, is the future obtained by ignoring it the real future?
The answer was obvious.
This matter had a great connection to him, and not being able to see it didn’t mean “possibilities” did not exist.
He had to meddle in these ‘trivial matters’.
“Forget it, let’s not think about this anymore.”
Shaking his head slightly, Ian gave up on his considerations.
The young man took a deep breath, slowly exhaling, “No matter how much I think, it is useless; with many issues, without the foundational conditions, you can never reach the correct answer.”
Standing up, Ian took the preservation box from the safe.
Opening the snow-colored preservation box, he placed the bottle releasing Xia Hui inside it, the young man’s expression determined, “Now, all the ingredients for the Second-Level Fairy Potion are complete.”
“It’s time to advance to the Second Energy Level.”
Forget all the plots and schemes, Prophet inheritance, the Mountain People’s treasure, and the peculiar Spiritual Power kids with a scheming local lord behind them.
Once he becomes Second Energy Level, many problems will no longer be problems!
Ian believed that once he reached the Second Energy Level, only the Marquis Barton and the Archbishop of the Great Flame from South Ridge, whom he had yet to meet, could possibly stop him.
Even if Viscount Grant went all out with his firepower, at the very least, Ian was confident he would be able to exhaust his Elemental Crystals, wait for his fuel to run out, and then make his escape.
After all, in recent years, Ian had been inspecting the Viscount’s Aether Armament, Conquest Ripple.
He knew every single flaw and vulnerability like the back of his hand.
Ian had borrowed the Platinum Iridium Workshop’s Alchemy Laboratory, which in theory, shouldn’t have been open to the public.
Even after he became an employee of the Platinum Iridium Workshop, he was supposed to submit a report before using it.
But who could blame the steward and the staff for knowing that Ian and the newly appointed Deputy Director of the Southern Territory, Yisen Gard, were close comrades who had battled and adventured together, risking their lives for each other?
The other party even sent over, with the fastest Dragonsteed courier, a preservation box that was clearly very expensive, to transport alchemical raw materials!
Write a report?
They were probably afraid that if they asked him to write an application report, he would have them write resignation letters!
Of course, Ian actually had no intention of doing that, but merely having the ability itself was enough to ensure his actions were unhindered.
He activated the ‘Crystallization Pressure Precipitation Chamber.’ Into it, he placed ‘Spirit Energy Nutrient Extract’ and mixed ‘Essence of Mingliu Grass’ with Pure Water, stirring them together evenly, and immediately, the dazzling Xia Hui of the extract became even more limpid, allowing crystal-like cloud patterns to emerge on the somewhat thick and slightly turbid surface of the extract as the glowing Spirit Energy nutrients condensed within.
Mingliu Grass itself is a Sublimator plant that excels at accumulating the Origin Quality and mineral substances from water flows, and its essence has the same capacity to further concentrate the majority of liquid Sublimation elements, enhancing their potency.
Next, it was time to insert the two prime materials of Magic Medicine, Fairy’s Streaming Light and Flying Feathers.
Fairy’s Streaming Light could already exude some beneficial Origin Quality through soaking, strengthening the affinity of Water Element Sublimators.
This time, when combined with Flying Feathers and added to the extract, they dissolved rapidly like butter into hot oil.
The thin-as-cicada-wing Flying Feathers likewise dissolved swiftly, transforming into an ice-blue star that twinkled within the colorful, nebula-like Xia Hui patterns.
Then, with his bare hands, Ian ground the Coldlight Floater Stone into powder and added it to the semi-finished Magic Potion.
Normally, even a relatively soft material like Coldlight Floater Stone would require specialized equipment to grind it bit by bit, to ensure uniform size… but Ian clearly felt that with his strength, doing it by hand would be finer than any alchemical apparatus.
And indeed, it was so— the extremely fine light blue Coldlight Sand fell into the Magic Potion and was swiftly captured and condensed by the Essence of Mingliu Grass, forming delicate starlights that orbited the ice-blue star and made the entire bottle of Magic Potion appear as if it was a vibrant cosmic starry sky, with numerous stars shining within a splendid nebula.
An icy yet dazzling, continuously flowing void mist, a nebulae Xia Hui.
“It’s simply an artwork.”
While it sounded simple, in reality, constructing the Magic Potion and waiting for the complete precipitation of the Origin Structure took Ian an entire afternoon.
The sun had already set outside, and the streetlights had been lit.
As Ian lifted the bottle of Magic Potion in his hand, he stared at it intently, with its mere presence emitting a strong Origin Quality scent that made him yearn for it, and he couldn’t help but remark softly, “It seems that the so-called Water Element Origin is not just simple water—rivers, mist, the glow reflected by light, the dispersing rain, and even the clouds flowing between the stars, all things that are in constant motion, all seem to meet its requirements.”
“But because we Sublimators are still weak, we can only manipulate water and other more common fluids.”
Without much thought, Ian consumed the Magic Potion, allowing the chilly and slightly sweet liquid with a strong floral fragrance to pour down his throat and spread throughout his body.
Densely packed cloud and water patterns emerged all around him, even upon his long hair.
The ice-blue patterns started spreading from the center of his chest, traversing his entire body and filling the Alchemy Laboratory with a layer of moist White Mist.
Within the hazy mist, ice-blue crystalline starlights twinkled slightly.
The Silver Chip held it all, and the Prophet, with the programs already prepared, loaded all the Origin Structures one by one.
Everything was under control; everything was anticipated.
And so, in this subtle and quiet tranquility,
Ian ascended to the Second Energy Level.
