Elaina’s refusal causes both sisters to be shocked and confused. After all, Elaina is very adamant about it to the point that she is looking more serious than she usually looks. Even Princess Margaux didn’t know Elaina could get that serious and borderline angry as well.

"Huh? Why? Shouldn’t you rely on something more powerful to ensure that they would be scared? I heard your parents are merchants. Isn’t it easy for them to immediately suck up to power if they ever see one?"

Elaina chuckled hearing that since it is exactly what her parents would do. Except her parents would not crumble under these pretenses since they are currently with the backing of the sovereignty of Luminiera Kingdom. Since she is still considered the Empress of the Luminiera Kingdom, and based on the rankings, even though King and Queen can be considered high, Emperor and Empress are much higher. So in terms of ranking alone, Elaina can rival the whole kingdom’s sovereign power. Now what would the Darcero Kingdom do against that? Which is why Elaina is not even going to bother asking them for help.

"It’s nice that you guys are worried about me and my current case. But really, this is fine. Even though I express concern over this matter of my parent’s arrival, I am going to face this alone. The days pass by quickly. Elaina has been getting the hang of the heat so far after spending a few days underneath it. She also got most of her crops properly sorted out and now she is just waiting for them to grow. Cucumbers keep on producing fruits as well, making them a good resource to sell as cucumbers started getting some demands to the market due to many workers wanting to have a quick snack to eat that could be considered a good snack and a full meal. Accompanied by beer and rum, the cucumbers have become somewhat of a big staple for many people right now.

Not only that but Elaina has also planted the Apple Sapling she got as a gift from the God of Farming. While it is growing fast, Elaina also understood that because this is a sapling given to her by the God of Farming and Agriculture, the sapling itself has some power of growth as well. She is not surprised but is somewhat annoyed since she wants to feel the progress of growing a tree appropriately and not just a shortcut like this. Of course, the God of Farming apologized for this as he was just trying to help Elaina get her funds ready to ensure that the house would soon be ready to be rebuilt.

Of course, Elaina has already gathered a lot of money from selling crops and from the strawberry shipment she did the other day. So she is full in regards to money already. The only thing left to do is to ask the local carpenter Jacob for the work and things will be moving again.

That day, Elaina has free time after finishing most of the farm work much earlier. Instead of relaxing, she is currently detailing her expenses and earnings in her notebook. She calculated it properly using the abacus and is already calculating the expenses she needed to pay for the house repair, doghouse repair for Shardu, and also some room expansion for the house. She wanted to ensure that all of her funds were secure so that the work progress was done in a single job and she didn’t need to have a problem in finding money to use as payment. It can save her time and the work would be done in one single job instead of separate work days.

"Huh...so this will be quite an expensive expenditure for me huh? Understandably, I would lose lots of money in the process but looking at my money disappear in one blink just makes it feel more depressing," Elaina lightly chuckled.

"Haha, Sis. You should be desensitized by now to this kind of thing especially since you have undergone these kinds of business back then. I still remember you spending money left and right without regard to others as well, yeah?" Julia laughed.

"I am poor now so all I can do is budget things out myself or we will starve alright? And besides, this is a necessary expenditure. Repairing and expanding the house is a big one. Didn’t you say before that you would also like your room as well?" Elaina grinned.

"A-ahem... it’s not like that Sis," Julia started to fidget as she did indeed want to own her very own room and not just share with Elaina. Because of the current state of the house and also to attend to Elaina faster, Julia was stuck in Elaina’s room for the time being until she gave birth, and the problem of extra rooms was finally done and solved.

It’s not really a big problem for Julia to share a room with Elaina but since she is also a growing girl, Julia also wanted her private room and not just share it with her sister so hearing Elaina planned to expand the house with a new room, she is excited without a doubt.

"Haha, don’t worry. Yes, I already included the plan to include on the expansion a few sets of new rooms. I also wanted to repair the second floor of this house as well."

The two looked at the ceiling and in the direction where the staircase that should have led them to the second floor is currently located.

"Didn’t expect that the second floor would be going to be accessible soon," Julia scratches her cheek.

"Well, if the stairwell didn’t break to pieces when we first discovered the place, we would have gained access to the next floor much earlier than expected."

Elaina didn’t know this house had a second floor.
