A random pokemon journey
Curious pixie

A red light shot out of the ball and formed the shape of the pokemon within before fading to reveal the true form of said pokemon. Unlike the fiery Celebi from before this one didn't have an aggressive look or feel to it. It had roughly the same shape as a normal Celebi might but with thin green strips coming from it's arms like seaweed and it's colors were a mix of blue and green. It's head also had a sort of closed lotus flower shape to it and had the clearest ice blue eyes I had ever seen.-

"Bi?" the petite floating pokemon said with a sort of groggy confusion like most experience when first waking from a deep slumber. I used the system to figure out what exactly I was looking at by getting it's status page and was surprised by what I found.

[Pokemon species: Celebi(mutant)

Level:5

Moves: Confusion, Leech seed, Water gun

Ability: Natural blessing

Nature: Cheerful

Description: Created through genetic engineering by team Galactic in the hopes of manipulating time. This Celebi has an additional water typing on top of it's preexisting grass and psychic typings. Has been in stasis since it's creation and knows nothing of the world around it.]

This Celebi was effectively a baby with no training or understanding of the world. This was less than ideal admittedly as it meant it wasn't going to be as useful as I had hoped, at least not immediately. "Bi?" the thing said again once it's grogginess faded and it finally looked around it. Clearly it had no idea what was going on or even that it was in the presence of many being more than capable of obliterating it. What it di recognize however was a human and showed a joyful expression as it rushed over to me and tackle hugged my chest with a loud "BI!".-

Hades twitched protectively but I patted my pocket to calm it as my aura made it clear there was no malicious intent here but genuine joy and affection. 'Poor thing must have only briefly seen it's creators before being put in stasis and thinks me to be it's parent.' I thought with a sigh as I gently patted the clingy pokemons back. "Bi bii Celebi bi bi cel?" the little thing asked eagerly as it looked around and I roughly figured out what it meant thanks to my own pokemon translating for me. -

"This is your new family and home." I said patiently since it was understandably for the thing to be excited. That was all it took for the little thing to beam joyfully and go to hug each and every one of my pokemon and even the Garchomp that looked almost about to attack it when several intense glares paralyzed it in fear. The Garchomp was only an elite level pokemon so the death glares of several beyond champion pokemon and one near-god was more than enough for it to feel death breathing down it's neck.-

Other than that small hiccup the small creature was warmly received by all of us as even Hades awkwardly took the hug without any fuss which was not like it at all. With a round of introduction complete I started teaching the small hyperactive little pixie about various things. Like all psychic types the small thing sucked up new knowledge like a desiccated sponge introduced to water. It only took me an hour to teach it how to read and write and I spent the rest of the day slowly explaining the facts about the world using the pokenet for reference.-

By the time I had to cook dinner the little pixie had more or less grasped the nonspecific aspects of the world. The rest would take time and experience to impart but this was enough in my opinion. Cooking dinner turned out to be an interesting event as the ever curious pixie wanted to know what I was doing the entire time and why as well. This left me surprised as none of my pokemon had ever cared to learn how to cook, only about the final delicious result of the skill.-

I had never minded as I enjoyed cooking and the reactions others had enjoying my food but having someone actually interested in the skill itself was a novel experience that I quite enjoyed. I couldn't help but smile as I explained the ingredients I used, the process that I used to prepare and cook them, even the way the flavors would mix to create something better than all it's parts. The curious little pixie ate it all up with gusto and asked for seconds that I was more than happy to give.-

My favorite part though had to be the look of awe that it had after tasting the final results. Wide glittering eyes and a sound of pure contentment. All of my pokemon except Hades had knowing expressions at this as they had all long since been aware of how exceptional my cooking was. After two years on plain boring meals they cherished this return to flavor all the more as a result. It was hard to go from master crafted meals designed perfectly for what your body craves to meals with no seasoning that never quite hit that crazing unless you were lucky.-

While I'm not saying they didn't miss me during those two years but it didn't change the fact they all looked on the verge of tears after I cooked again once I returned. After the meal the little pixie yawned sleepily and curled up in Vulcans mane before going to sleep. I cleaned up from dinner before having Gaia and Garchomp work on the back end of the property to dig us out a cavern to make our home in. For today it was merely a single large chamber for us to sleep in for the night but tomorrow I'd work to turn it into a proper home with multiple rooms.-

The night passed by quietly and soon a new day dawned prompting me and my pokemon save the newest addition to our little outfit that was still sound asleep in Vulcans mane. None of us thought to wake it either as it likely needed the sleep. Even though it had been in stasis the whole time it had gone who knows how long in that state and it's body must be all sorts of out of tune with reality and would need time and rest to recover.
