Su Yu couldn’t help but laugh, "Remaining a bachelor all my life doesn’t seem too bad, at least, I’ll have you by my side Ada." He reached out and playfully ruffled Ada’s fur as he spoke.

Startled, Ada lifted her head and huffed, "Su Yu, you’re becoming more and more unscrupulous. You just kissed Lei Leian, and now you’re flirting with me."

Su Yu replied helplessly: "Ada, when did I take advantage of you? I’m not Didi; I wouldn’t have such bad taste–".

Before he could finish his sentence he knew he was in trouble. As expected, he felt a slap on his face from Ada’s little paw, then she huffed angrily: "What did you mean by that? Are you suggesting only people like Didi would like me? How is liking me bad taste? I’m charming, you no-good fool who doesn’t know a good thing when he sees it." With a leap, Ada retreated into the room, ignoring Su Yu.

Stunned and puzzled, Su Yu touched both of his cheeks. He’d just been slapped by Lei Leian on his left cheek and now Ada had left her mark on the right. How could he be so unlucky today?

The following morning, Su Yu and Lei Leian got out of bed and checked out of their room. Looking at him with a beaming smile, Lei Leian seemed to have completely forgotten about the incident from the previous night. Su Yu was initially embarrassed, but he let go of a breath he was holding when he saw that she seemed to have forgotten all about it, a smirk forming on his face as well.

To avoid unnecessary attention, they swapped their Black Dragon Horses for two ordinary Horned Demon Horses in the town. After leaving town, they galloped in the northwest direction. As night fell and there was no sign of any villages, they continued traveling in the dark.

Suddenly, Su Yu groaned and rolled off his horse. His Black Iron Guardian’s prohibition was acting up again.

This time, Lei Leian didn’t hesitate. She quickly dismounted her horse and looked at Su Yu with concern. Seeing him in so much pain, she instinctively hugged him. Su Yu clutched her tightly, his body shaking continuously.

For the next several days, as they traveled toward the northwest, Su Yu held Lei Leian each time his training kicked in to alleviate the pain. Su Yu remained respectful and didn’t do anything inappropriate. His actions showed that he was indeed in control of his emotions and maintained an appropriate distance from Lei Leian.

Observing Su Yu’s behavior towards Lei Leian made Ada realize Su Yu saw Lei Leian as a good friend and didn’t have any intention to go any further in their relationship.

En route, they spotted a Grey-White city in the distance which Lei Leian introduced as "Xuanji City," under the rule of "White Tiger Giant City". The entire surrounding area was managed by Xuanji City.

Su Yu nodded, but they didn’t enter "Xuanji City". Even the typically carefree Lei Leian kept a low profile in the region ruled by the "White Tiger Giant City". They bypassed the city and proceeded on their journey. After several days, towering mountains were faintly visible in the distance.
