Qin Jiagui suggested, "It seems to be empty underneath. Shall we open it and see what’s inside?"

Curiosity rose among the others. Su Yu nodded and responded, "Take a few steps back everyone, I’ll handle this."

Dragon Kid jumped aside and the others backed off a few steps, knowing that Su Yu was cautious of any danger. The mysterious golden cap indeed filled the atmosphere with intrigue.

Seeing everyone step back, Su Yu took a shallow breath and scales appeared over his body. He reached out his right hand with the Golden Claw and plunged it into the rock beside the metal cap. Gripping the metal lid, he found it easy to budge.

With a surge of alertness in his heart, prepared for any contingencies, Su Yu lifted his right hand at the same instant, flipping open the golden metal cap.

After the metal cap engraved with a charm was veered open, Su Yu staggered back a few steps. After several seconds passed without any abnormalities, he stepped forward and peered down to find a round dark cave below. The cave was pitch dark, and he couldn’t see anything inside or how deep it was.

"What’s inside? Is there anything?" The others came forth, only to find nothing in the darkness. Meng Ting handed forth her hand, and an eight-sided Crystal floated in her hand. The necklace around her neck oscillated, summoning her Primordial Beast, the Light Sphere.

She pushed the energy of the "Light Sphere" into the Eight-sided Crystal, causing it to glitter, then guided this glowing crystal to enter the cave below.

With the illumination from the sparkling Eight-sided Crystal, the originally pitch-dark cave was becoming more visible.

It was a cave that could only fit an individual’s passage. As the eight-sided crystal descended down the cave, they were stunned to discover that the interior resembled a dried stone well. Judging by the sleekness of the surrounding walls, it didn’t seem naturally occurring but built by machines, like a well. The depth was unforeseeable — the Eight-sided Crystal dropped, and they didn’t see the bottom. Soon, the distance of the fall exceeded Meng Ting’s control range, the Crystal disappeared, and the well was plunged into darkness again.

Qin Jiagui picked up a stone and dropped it into the well, then listened carefully for the echo.

Finally, a faint noise of the stone hitting the bottom echoed up. Dragon Kid voiced his estimate, "I sense it is about a hundred meters deep."

"What do we do now?" Zi Yu, the girl with a fascinating allure, questioned.

Everyone was curious about the well, but its depth, the darkness inside, and the unknown dangers demanded significant bravery to venture into.
