The others noticed Su Yu’s unusual reaction and turned their gaze to where he was looking. That was when they saw it; perched atop a massive rock pillar some fifty to sixty meters away – a pillar that was a good seven to eight meters high – was a humanoid creature.

No one knew when this creature had taken up its position there, seemingly appearing out of nowhere.

Everyone had exceptional eyesight. Despite the considerable distance, they could clearly see the creature perched atop the rock pillar, sporting a beautiful, yet pale, face of a woman. This face, however, was covered in twisted, terrifying violet black magic patterns. Below her eyes, as if two glaring tears of blood were trickling down, there were markings on her cheeks.

Its body was covered in the same violet black patterns, occasionally sprouting short, feeler-like tendrils that glowed a translucent hue. From a distance, it appeared grotesque and terrifying, enough to send chills down anyone’s spine at first glance.

At that moment, within the whistling wind, these transparent, short tendrils adorning the creature’s body swayed as if each one had a life of its own, much like tiny snakes.

When Su Yu and the others noticed the creature, it seemed to sense their gaze. It suddenly raised a bloated, monstrous claw—much like that of a wild beast—to cover its face.

"Ning Yan?"

Almost simultaneously, Ma Ziye and Qin Jiagui cried out in shock, their hearts throbbing with terror.

Despite the grotesque body of the creature perched on the distant rock pillar, the pale face covered in violet black magic patterns still faintly resembled Ning Yan.

That night in Newbie Forest, Ning Yan had morphed into the 666 Beast. Ma Ziye and the others had been on the run ever since. From then on, they never saw or heard from Ning Yan again. They didn’t expect to suddenly encounter such a terrifying creature in the second layer of the Elemental Space. Moreover, this creature bore a striking resemblance to Ning Yan’s face. The shock they were experiencing was unimaginable.

As Ma Ziye and Qin Jiagui gasped in horror, they turned their heads to look at Su Yu.

Su Yu stared in silence at the creature perched on the distant rock pillar. He didn’t utter a single word. His body, however, was trembling slightly.

Noticing that Su Yu and the others had discovered it, the creature quickly covered its face. Then it jumped off the rock pillar and fled into the distance.

"Do you guys know this creature?" asked Meng Ting, unable to contain her curiosity. At this moment, Su Yu abruptly said, "Meng Ting, I need to leave for a while. I’ll find you guys later. Please look after Ziye and the others for me." With these words, he suddenly vanished, reappearing ten meters away.

"Su Yu—," Ma Ziye couldn’t help but cry out, "Don’t go..."

As Ziye’s words echoed in the air, Su Yu’s upper body began to transform, his speed rapidly increasing. In the blink of an eye, he was a hundred meters away. Even if Ma Ziye wanted to chase after him, she wouldn’t be able to.

"That’s the 666 beast..." Dragon Kid spoke up, his expression becoming very serious: "The situation isn’t good at all. It doesn’t seem to be a failed product, but it isn’t..."

With that, Dragon Kid abruptly stopped talking. It seemed to be harbouring an unspeakable secret. Covering his mouth hurriedly, Dragon Kid refrained from saying more, to avoid accidentally spilling something he shouldn’t, and getting into trouble.

"Let’s move. We should trust Su Yu. Remember what he said? He will find us. Besides, Ada will guide him. Don’t worry, he won’t get lost. We should continue searching for the ’Jade Yellow Crystal Mine’ now," Zi Yu commented. Everyone nodded in agreement. Right now, that seemed to be their only option. In just a blink of an eye, Su Yu had already disappeared from their sight. Given his speed, it would be impossible for anyone to catch up. Only Meng Jun, when summoning the "Reaper’s Scythe," might stand a chance of keeping up with him.

Ma Ziye was unsettled. After all this time, she assumed that Su Yu had long forgotten about Ning Yan. She didn’t expect he would react so strongly upon seeing her again. Should she feel moved that Su Yu isn’t a fickle person, or be upset that he still can’t let go of a relationship that is utterly impossible?

After leaving his message with Meng Ting, Su Yu sprinted at full speed, chasing after the fleeing humanoid creature.

As Su Yu sprinted, he activated his "Lizard Beast Transformation." Unleashing his special power to the fullest extent, his speed continued to increase in a terrifying manner, weaving through the pillars of rock. Every step he took left a deep pit in the ground. Every time he darted forward, he leaped at least ten meters.
