Chapter 228: Chapter 191 Atlantis_2

He shed his hat, symbolizing the shedding of all constraints, he wanted to fight with all his might at the last moment.

As soon as the "Sky Eye" saw Meng Jun’s final scythe fall, splitting the body of the Thirty-Year-Old Man lying on the ground from head to body, he knew the end was near for himself too.

Having given up on the idea of survival, he actually became fearless, casting off his hat, he decided to fight with all his strength.

Meng Ting initiated the first attack, the light wings reappeared behind her, rushing towards the "Sky Eye", the "Sky Eye" watched her, and easily retreated back to avoid it. Meanwhile, Fang Jiong’s "Circling Pot" followed tightly, "Boom", it was blocked by his shaking right arm.

On the other side, Xu Ruyun successively shot a number of scalpels, which were all parried or deflected by him, but Su Yu didn’t strike, instead, he was constantly circling around the outside.

Although "Eye of Foreknowledge" is terrifying, once it is besieged, it becomes useless, as the prerequisite for the "Sky Eye" to foresee is that it must see the opponent.

Su Yu had already guessed this, so he kept circling, forcing the "Sky Eye" to keep turning and staring at Su Yu, and in doing so, he failed to handle the other three properly.

Quickly, there were three "crack" crisp sounds from behind, a small oversight allowed Meng Ting’s three light knives to hit him.

Although the black lines behind him blocked the three light knives and didn’t get injured, he was already sweating profusely from fright, his mind becoming increasingly panicked. In this panic, the predictive capability of the "Eye of Foreknowledge" was immediately affected, and the images of the future became less clear.

Just after a short while, the "Sky Eye" was drenched in sweat, his face pale.

After Meng Jun dealt with the Thirty-Year-Old Man, he stood at the side holding the Reaper’s scythe, watching Meng Ting and the others combining forces to handle the "Sky Eye".

With Meng Jun guarding along the side, the pressure on the "Sky Eye" became unbearable, he constantly had to be on guard whether Meng Jun would suddenly strike.

"Eye of Foreknowledge" kept rotating, staring at Meng Jun, at Su Yu, at Meng Ting, at Xu Ruyun... A pair of eyes were spinning rapidly in the eye sockets, getting faster and faster, suddenly with two crisp "crack" sounds, the "Sky Eye" howled in pain, he couldn’t help but cover both eyes with his hands, everyone clearly saw blood seeping from the gaps between his fingers.

The others sighed in relief, everyone understood, the "Sky Eye" was ruined.

There were too many people surrounding him, the "Sky Eye" was too tense, he had to keep an eye on everyone to predict their moves, as a result his "Eye of Foreknowledge" exceeded its limit, and it actually exploded.

His eyes were completely destroyed, the "Sky Eye", covering his eyes, screamed in pain, Meng Ting waved her hand, and "whoosh" sounds rang out continuously, the "Sky Eye" quivered all over, he had been hit all over by numerous light knives made from Eight-sided Crystals, just like a honeycomb.

The horrifying screams of the "Sky Eye" suddenly stopped, he slowly lowered the palm covering his eyes, everyone saw that his eyes had turned into two black holes, but from within these black holes, there emerged numerous thin wires like electric cables, at this moment these thin wires were giving out a faint crackling sound, which was extremely strange.

Everyone who saw it was shocked, they felt the strangeness.

"Artificial Human?" Suddenly, a surprised sound arose from the other side.

Everyone looked and saw that at some unknown point in time, Dragon Kid had defeated another Category 5 Lifeform of wolf head and snake body, leaving it on the verge of dying, he now had it in his mouth. When he saw the "Sky Eye", Dragon Kid exclaimed in surprise, he opened his mouth, and the wolf-headed creature fell from his mouth to the ground, it just lay there, having lost all its strength.

"Artificial Human? What is that?" Meng Ting seemed to have heard of it for the first time and couldn’t help being curious.

When "Sky Eye" heard this, he trembled violently and couldn’t help screaming: "What? An artificial human? Impossible, I am not, how can I be an artificial human?"

He let out a manic scream, and suddenly, faint explosions echoed from within his body. His clothes and skin were instantly blown to reveal large holes. Wires and intricate machinery began to stream out of these holes.

These devices were popping with soft explosions. Soon, the exploding sounds amplified, growing louder with incessant "pop pop" noises. "Sky Eye" shrieked in madness, "I am not an artificial human... I am a human... I am a human..."

Eventually, a violent explosion was triggered within his body. Everyone else quickly moved out of the way. After the large explosion, "Sky Eye’s" body had disappeared, with only fragments of wires and equipment scattered over the crystal pile.

Everyone was taken aback by this sudden change. Remembering "Sky Eye’s" abilities and the black lines mapped on his body, Su Yu realized they looked akin to a complex network of machinery. At first, he thought this was a sign of the other party’s special power; however, it was now apparent that he wasn’t human, but a sophisticated robot.

"This guy’s actually a robot? Not just any robot but one designed to look exactly like a human... Damn, has technology in this world advanced to this point?" Fang Jiong couldn’t help but exclaim, his face etched with disbelief.

Dragon Kid shook his head, "This is an artificial human, not a simply a robot. Who would’ve thought that the artificial humans of Atlantis were scattered all over the world..." He continued shaking his head.

"Atlantis?"

Upon hearing this name, everyone lost their breath in shock. Individuals like Su Yu and Fang Jiong were naturally familiar with the name. Many ancient texts recorded it as a prehistoric civilization on Earth that had vanished without a trace. When they unexpectedly heard Dragon Kid mention it, they couldn’t help but exhale in surprise.

"Dragon Kid, are you referring to the Atlantis we’ve heard of back on Earth? But that seemed to have disappeared over ten thousand years ago. We have never heard you mention it before," Meng Ting curiously chimed in.

Dragon Kid glared at her before responding, "Tingting, you never asked me about it. Is it odd... that the civilization of Atlantis disappeared from your world? Why did it disappear? Isn’t it like you guys? Disappeared from your world and then appeared in this one... Don’t you understand such a simple concept? ...

There have been many civilizations before this one... Now it’s just your generation’s turn... Hehe... So there’s a good show to look forward to... I remember in your civilization’s timeline, there was a fascinating epoch known as the Maya. These humans seemed to have foreseen certain things which occurred cyclically with every Solar Epoch... You guys... should be the Fifth Solar Epoch... Hmm, we still have two years, everyone should work hard, we all have a chance..."

At this point, Dragon Kid had a look of excitement on his face.

People exchanged glances upon hearing this. Soon, they found their own thoughts drifting towards the widely known Maya Prophecy left from the era of Maya Civilization in their original world.

The accuracy of this Maya Prophecy was uncannily accurate, its previous predictions having already been confirmed. The final prophecy stated that in two years’ time, there would be earth-shattering changes in the human world, and humanity would embark on a new path of evolution.

Up until now, everyone had considered this prophecy as an apocalypse prediction. Many movies and TV shows have even been created based on this prophecy. Of course, by and large, people did not believe it, except for a handful of fanatics.

But at this moment, Dragon Kid’s words left everyone sucking in a breath of cold air. A chill was felt by all, as they wondered, could the so-called Maya Prophecy actually be true?

Could it be that, in two years, the earth-shattering changes in the human world meant that the entire human race on Earth would fall into this terrifying unknown world due to the "sky pit" or some other reason?

Did the so-called new path of evolution refer to them gaining special powers after slaying monstrous creatures, thus forcefully advancing them towards a new evolutionary path they could not turn back from?

And by Dragon Kid’s words, it seemed that before their civilization, there were four other civilizations on Earth which met the same fate, including the highly developed Atlantis civilization, which mysteriously vanished over ten thousand years ago?

A bizarre and terrifying feeling filled everyone’s hearts. Some even couldn’t help but think of their loved ones, their parents. Would such a worldwide collapse really occur, pulling all of humanity into this unknown world?

Would they meet again if it happened?
