Chapter 1404: Chapter 1042: Birthplace (Second Update)
Yana gestured for Su Yu to put down Ma Ziye, then with a flick of her right hand, a beam of light fell from the unstable glowing orb, enveloping Ma Ziye, now transformed into the "Candle of Life."
"Restore her original form, recast the true body—"
Yana uttered in a calm voice. Within the embrace of the orb’s glow, Su Yu could clearly see the flame of the Candle of Life, Ma Ziye’s incarnation, slowly extinguishing, then continuously transforming until it quickly reverted back to Ma Ziye’s original form.
However, she was naked, lying there as if deeply asleep.
With a slight smile, Yana waved her right hand, and a robe automatically dressed Ma Ziye’s body, covering her exposed skin.
Su Yu swallowed hard and looked up, only to see the glowing orb ascending, floating in mid-air and spinning continuously, looking very mystical.
"Ziye." Only when the glowing orb retracted the white light covering Ma Ziye did Su Yu gently shake her.
"Her soul has been severely damaged; she needs sufficient rest, but don’t worry, she will be fine."
Yana looked on at Su Yu and Ma Ziye and suddenly spoke.
"Hmm." Seeing Ma Ziye sleeping soundly and breathing steadily, Su Yu finally felt relieved.
Standing up and looking at Yana, Su Yu inquired, "Is this the inside of Noah’s Ark? Yana, how did you and Noah’s Ark end up in this ’void’ world?"
All of this was obviously beyond his understanding.
Just after asking these questions, Su Yu suddenly gasped and raised his head, sensing an indescribable force around him. This force was not like solar energy, nor physical destructive power, nor mental strength, but an indescribable force, unperceivable... and only because he harbored a Giant Will within him could he sense it.
Yes, it was actually the power of a Giant Will.
Su Yu widened his eyes in shock. The Giant Will within him instinctively responded, resonating; he sensed another will’s force in the space around him, gentle like parents softly caressing him.
Then, his Giant Will received a message.
This message was neither spoken nor telepathic communication but a contact between two wills, a transcendent level of interaction beyond the imagination of mortal beings.
"Welcome home, our child."
"You... You are the consciousness of Noah’s Ark?" Su Yu couldn’t help but exclaim, while Yana remained silent, just watching quietly, knowing that this level of communication transcended imagination.
"Yes..." the mysterious Giant Will responded to Su Yu.
Su Yu took a sharp breath, instantly certain of one thing—that Noah’s Ark also possessed a Giant Will, similar in nature to the mysterious Giant Will within him, obviously the same entity.
What being created Noah’s Ark, and what is the true nature of the mysterious Giant Will within him?
"Please tell me, where did the Giant Will within me come from? What is the Six-headed Six-winged beast? And when you say ’home’, do you mean this ’void’ world... is actually my home? What do you mean by ’your child’?"
Su Yu had too many questions, too many doubts he wanted to ask.
"Don’t be anxious... I will tell you everything... You’ve grown up... It’s time for you to understand... all the truth... Follow me... Come..."
The Giant Will belonging to Noah’s Ark suddenly began drawing strength from the space in all directions, constantly morphing and transforming, faint phantom-like images appeared, which even Su Yu’s Eyes of True God could not discern, only his Giant Will could sense.
Within his Giant Will, these originally faint phantoms gradually became clearer, eventually transforming into a blurred human figure.
Between the lines, it seemed possible to see the silhouette of an elderly man with a majestic face, yet when one tried to sense it more carefully, nothing could be discerned.
This blurry figure, conjured by the Giant Will, extended its hand. Su Yu’s own Giant Will inside him resonated with it, automatically transforming into a form with six heads and six wings without Su Yu needing to think, and then they both stepped out of this space.
Since Su Yu’s consciousness had merged with the Giant Will inside him, becoming indistinguishable, the six-headed six-winged form shaped by the Giant Will also contained his consciousness.
Thus, when the Giant Will left his body, Su Yu’s Divine Sense departed as well; he no longer felt his own body, only sensing the white radiance all around, feeling as if he existed and simultaneously did not.
In a trance, they left that space, surrounded all around by countless colorful matter, endlessly bulging into bubbles before Annihilating, then bulging again, repeating this cycle. Below, a vague white shadow resembling a boat could be slightly discerned, seemingly breaking through countless colorful matter, traveling towards an endless terminus.
"Is that Noah’s Ark? Is it currently navigating this ’void’ world? Where are we headed? How come this colorful matter shows no end, isn’t this a massive life form?"
Su Yu thought; at this moment, he was unable to speak. Everything was communicated through the Giant Will, in a manner beyond human language.
"No, this isn’t life..."
"How can it be? The ’void’ can ignite the Candle of Life, and I can sense that this is a complete life form, even capable of differentiating into Ancient Giant Beasts, each one like its individual cells."
"My child, you have not understood what this is..."
All around them, countless bubbles continued their endless cycles. The energy released from each bubble’s burst might well exceed that of an entire universe. Entering here, Su Yu felt the smallness of his own existence. If this "void" truly were a complete life form, how mighty it must be.
"Let’s assume, in space, there is a piece of paper dividing a space into the front and back. The front space is filled with water, while the back space is filled with countless grains of sand... What would happen if one day the paper separating the sand and water were to be pierced?"
Su Yu paused before replying, "The water would flow into the space where the sand is?"
"Half correct... The sand would also flow into the water’s space, and they would permeate each other, eventually forming a space containing both sand and water... Do you understand now?"
A tremor went through Su Yu’s heart; he vaguely grasped what Noah’s Ark was implying with this example—the essence of the ’void’ and the colorful matter.
"Could it be, all the vast cosmic spaces of the gods are one side of the paper? And here, the other side? Is the so-called Darkness Crack the torn rift in the paper? But no... if so, why does the colorful matter want to devour the worlds of the True Gods... this place is..."
"Don’t you see... it’s worse here... Water has already completely permeated the world where the sand originally was, while the sand... has only just started to infiltrate the water’s world..."
Su Yu’s body shook violently, finally making sense of it all.
"But... I still don’t understand, what then is this colorful matter? If both sides of the paper represent space, and when the paper breaks, it shouldn’t result in this colorful matter, just like water and sand, even if the paper is pierced, only a fusion of water and sand should occur, not this third substance like venom."
"You’re correct... I’ll explain this later..." The Giant Will paused briefly before continuing, "The existence of space doesn’t shrink or expand; the overall space remains unchanged. The birth and expansion of one universe inevitably occupy the space of another universe, inevitably causing the other universe to shrink, lessen, or even Annihilate... This is an unchangeable law... Look, we’ve arrived..."
As this voice spoke, the colorful matter around them suddenly began to decrease and recede. Su Yu understood that it wasn’t the colorful matter diminishing, rather they were about to break out of the space occupied by the colorful matter.
When they finally broke out of the space enveloped by the colorful matter, the sight that met their eyes was startling.
It was an immense space, where one could vaguely see countless stars, even several Cosmic Trees, and the endless foundational stones of space, the vast land faintly visible, showing that this once also was a vast and magnificent world, in no way inferior to the True God World he had known.
But, from all around, the ever-accumulating colorful matter had severely devoured this world, leaving many stars as mere remnants, the Cosmic Trees completely withered, much of them already devoured, the vast lands dry and cracked, silence pervaded all around, a world completely devoid of the signs of life, only struggling in its death throes.
Watching the colorful matter around them, still emitting bubbles, each bubble’s burst a release of the energy of several universes, Su Yu understood that this world’s days being completely devoured by the colorful matter were drawing near.
"Do you see, this world... is the homeland where you were born..." The Giant Will suddenly began to fly forward rapidly, and Su Yu hurriedly followed, passing through Cosmic Trees that had completely withered and died, quickly appearing in front of a majestic building almost entirely turned to ruins.
