Chapter 1403: Chapter 1041: The World Beyond the Rift of Darkness (1st Update)
"Ada City."
Ada entered the "Ada City" and vanished from sight, while Zhang Zhongmou, Su Yun, and the Black Warriors, among others, were all fusing with the "Black Martial God Soul" and entering their respective "Black Martial God Armor" to begin their cultivation.
To achieve results from cultivation is not a matter of one day or one moment; thinking of Zhang Xiang and Bai Lei, who cultivated for countless years before achieving their current accomplishments.
Tlorlok and the God of Combat and Victory found a nearby star, the sun, and continued their cultivation. Zhang Xiang and Bai Lei also entered their "Black Martial God Armor" to continue their training, striving to improve themselves, and waiting for the day Ada exits cultivation to continue following their commander and wage battle in all directions.
Only Su Yu’s clone, the man in blue robe number six, sat cross-legged, a strand of his divine sense had long wandered off into the heavens, worrying about the state of his true body.
The true body of Su Yu had temporarily sealed off his divine sense, making it undetectable to the clone, hence the anxiety. In the endlessly variegated substance, the six-dragon six-winged creature faced the descent of a Giant Will, intending to rebuild Ziye’s true body. However, Ziye, now reduced to a Candle of Life, showed no change whatsoever.
It seemed that even the omnipotent Giant Will was unable fathom the course of fate and change everything.
At that moment, the six-dragon six-winged creature suddenly felt a blinding light. When it turned its head, it saw within these variegated substances a dazzling white light piercing through what seemed like the endlessness.
Within that dazzling white glow, a colossal object, white as jade, emerged partially, riding the winds and breaking the waves—the winds of the universe, and the waves of variegated substances—as if from the mythological era of ancient times, heading this way.
The impact of this scene was indescribable; everything around began to be overshadowed by the white brilliance, becoming dreamlike.
A wave of overwhelming familiarity and kindred instinct rose up; it was as if seeing one’s kin. The six-dragon six-winged creature stood in a daze, and then, as if realizing something, suddenly let out a heaven-shaking roar, lifting its arms high while its six wings flapped and accelerated toward the massive object that revealed barely a corner of its true form, breaking through the variegated substance.
Even more powerful than the six-dragon six-winged creature, the omnipotent Giant Will couldn’t completely discern the entirety of this entity white as jade through the inexhaustible variegated substance. All it could see was the luminous jade-like glow, which eternally revealed only a fraction of its true body—as if there was no place in the entire universe expansive enough to fully contain its power and form. Therefore, it could only ever reveal just a corner, and not even the gods were entitled to behold its entirety.
With a thunderous "boom," the six-dragon six-winged creature wished to surge forward but was immediately suppressed by an invisible force and immobilized, regardless of the energy of an entire universe within it, or its instincts, or the Giant Will—they were all effortlessly subdued. As the instincts were suppressed, the six-dragon six-winged became gradually calm, and Su Yu’s sealed consciousness began to awaken, replacing the instinct.
As Su Yu gradually regained consciousness, the image of the six-dragon six-winged creature began to converge and transform, with the Giant Will still enveloping its entire body, burning the solar energy within to open a massive space within this variegated substance.
The variegated substance twisted irregularly. With the exit of the dark crack temporarily sealed, it began to reverse, like a tsunami retreating, yet the places illuminated by that jade-white light receded of their own accord, creating a strange and indescribable spectacle.
When Su Yu was fully awake, he looked up at the dazzling luster and the object that resembled white jade revealing just the tip of an iceberg within the variegated substance and couldn’t help but exclaim, "Noah’s Ark?"
Although decades had passed, he still vividly remembered every encounter with Noah’s Ark.
The first time was in the Black Iron World during his first trial, amidst the great battle between Xingyu and the Atlanteans, when "Noah’s Ark" made its descent, and though it only revealed the tip of the iceberg, it completely overshadowed the void of the entire trial world.
It was also from Xingyu that Su Yu learned of "Noah’s Ark," a creation of Atlantean civilization fashioned from a spine that spanned the Atlantic Ocean, but it had become uncontrollable by the Atlanteans, an existence that was said to transcend gods.
Afterward, Su Yu, using the Giant Will, witnessed the struggle within the "Bronze Tower" outside the Dark World where "Noah’s Ark," as if in a frenzy, collided with the "Bronze Tower." In that Dark World, Su Yu saw for the first time the true power of the Demon Divine Beast. The last sighting of "Noah’s Ark" was when he broke through to the Upper Realm.
Decades later, encountering "Noah’s Ark" again and within these "nothing" variegated substances, Su Yu almost couldn’t believe his own eyes.
Still just the tip of the iceberg, he, who had now become a Supreme True God, still could not witness the entirety of "Noah’s Ark," even though he could see the Cosmic Tree and the starry universe—could he really not see the complete "Noah’s Ark"?
It was like the chasm between him and "Noah’s Ark" had remained unchanged, whether he was an ordinary human, a Black Iron Warrior, a Golden Warrior, or now a True God; the gap seemed not to have narrowed in the slightest.
In all directions, within the "nothing" variegated substance, everything began to feel surreal. The tip of the iceberg, white as jade, gradually ceased its movement and simply hovered there, with the surrounding variegated substances churning but unable to come close. Then, Su Yu looked up and saw that figure with flowing long hair, sliding down the jade-white revealed part of the iceberg-like ship and landing in front of Su Yu.
Facing each other, it felt as if worlds apart.
Every little memory flooded back into Su Yu’s mind in an instant, as if time and space itself was receding.
Su Yu’s heart swelled with indescribable emotions as he slowly took out a well-preserved sun hat.
Back in the Upper Realm, he and the owner of this sun hat had many encounters. Memories of the past surged forth with the reappearance of this hat.
He handed over the sun hat, and the tall figure opposite took the hat, gently pressing it down over her beautiful, waterfall-like long hair and smiling sweetly.
Yana, the stubborn girl who liked wearing a sun hat, had vanished with Noah’s Ark back then. Su Yu never imagined that he would meet her again, in such a place, under such circumstances.
Still as beautiful as dusk, she seemed unchanged from decades ago. It took a moment for Su Yu to snap out of his daze and hurriedly turn to look at Ma Ziye.
Ma Ziye had ignited herself, transforming into the "Candle of Life," aiming to end both herself and "Nothingness." Now, separated from the state of merging with "Nothingness" by the six dragons and six wings, her form remained ablaze, unstoppable, unable to extinguish, and even further from returning to her original form.
Even the six dragons and six wings, along with the Giant Will, were at a loss. Su Yu, too, was without any means.
"Take her with you and follow me," Yana finally spoke. After saying so, she pressed down the sun hat on her head and began to ascend, shooting upwards.
"Okay," Su Yu hesitated for a moment before disregarding everything else. With a flip of his hand, his energy swept up, enclosing the still blazing Candle of Life, and he followed behind Yana, propelling forward.
Bathed in the illuminating light, no variegated matter approached. Following Yana, Su Yu came close to the entity of Noah’s Ark for the first time, although he still couldn’t see the full extent of Noah’s Ark.
Logically, Noah’s Ark was merely made from the backbone of an unknown, mysterious creature that lies dormant in the Atlantic Ocean. Its spine was indeed gigantic, capable of spanning the Atlantic on Earth, but to a true god, that was trivial. If the Cosmic Tree, with each of its leaves being an entire world, was visible, and the sea of stars formed by countless Star Ancestors could be witnessed, how could one not see a spine as long as the Atlantic?
Yet, what even gods don’t comprehend is Noah’s Ark, which he couldn’t see.
Su Yu could not understand, but for the first time, he had a certain epiphany—perhaps Noah’s Ark was indeed beyond the existence of a true god.
Previously, he couldn’t measure it, but as his realm and vision continually expanded, he gradually became clearer about many things.
"If Noah’s Ark surpasses the gods... then the world seen outside the Bronze Tower is clearly not the starry universe. There... perhaps is the world of the true gods. Then, what kind of being is the ’Demon Divine Beast’ with eight arms, capable of withstanding attacks from Noah’s Ark? And that blue Azure Sky Giant Hand..."
Now, Su Yu roughly understood that the perfect body mentioned by the true gods was the blue jade-colored body. Then, whose was that immense blue jade-colored giant hand, as vast as the sky? And what about the being who summoned the "eight-armed Demon Divine Beast"?
If Noah’s Ark transcended the gods, then these beings... clearly were unfathomable, beyond any comparison to a Lord God or a True Lord. Perhaps the actual world of the deities he was now in contact with, like the entity of Noah’s Ark, was just the tip of the iceberg.
As white as the most flawless jade in the world, Su Yu followed behind Yana, along the snowy white jade-like hull of the ship, which seemed endless, moving ceaselessly. Surrounding white light became ever more intense until Yana’s body was eventually engulfed by the white light. Su Yu hastened to keep up, the white light swallowing him whole, blinding him. Once he finally adjusted, he found himself in a vast space.
The space was so boundless that even with the eyes of a true god, he could not see its end in any direction. Yana was already standing ahead, right hand outstretched, above which floated an unsettled, rotating sphere of light.
This radiant sphere continuously emitted soft energy, unceasingly, spreading out in all directions.
