The God of the Rules did not give him any extra time. The Spear of Orthodoxy unleashed its most formidable power, the right arm extended, locking onto Su Yu. The Spear of Orthodoxy transformed into a streak of blue cascading light soaring towards Su Yu.

At that instant, Su Yu felt as if the entire world had vanished before his eyes, leaving only this blue long rainbow between heaven and earth, flying straight towards him. Su Yu thought of dodging, but his hands and feet wouldn’t obey him, and he could only stand there, eyes wide open, watching the blue rainbow fly toward him.

"How can this be, is this the true power of the Spear of Orthodoxy? Is this the might that can kill even gods?" Finally, a look of shock appeared in Su Yu’s eyes, while on the other side, Ada and the others cried out in unison, wanting to come to his aid, but it was all too late. They could only watch as the blue cascading light was about to strike Su Yu.

The Sky-gazing Giant Eye opened, spurting out torrents of energy, attempting to deflect the blue pillar of light that the Spear of Orthodoxy had become. However, the moment it touched the blue pillar, the Sky-gazing Giant Eye let out an earth-shattering roar, spattering blood, suffering a heavy blow.

The Spear of Orthodoxy, infinitely powerful.

Just as Su Yu was about to be hit by the Spear of Orthodoxy, which was reputed to have the power to kill even gods, suddenly there was a "clang" noise, and something hit the Spear of Orthodoxy.

The blue cascading light the Spear of Orthodoxy had transformed into, like a snake hit in its "vitals", lost its murderous aura upon being struck, and abruptly the blue light withdrew, reverting back into that blue spear, falling straight down.

With a "swoosh", it plunged into the grass below.

This sudden turn of events stunned not just Su Yu but also Ada and the others in the distance. Even the God of the Rules was taken aback.

How could the might of the Spear of Orthodoxy, when exhibiting its true power, be so easily neutralized and fall to the ground?

The object that knocked down the Spear of Orthodoxy was a streak of dark light, which, upon retracting, revealed itself to be a war banner.

This war banner bore the images of eighteen weapons – saber, spear, sword, halberd, axe, glaive, hook, fork, whip, mace, hammer, claw, trident, staff, lance, stick, crutch, and meteor hammer – arranged in a ring. At the center was a square seal, and the whole banner was ink-black, with the eighteen weapons prominently embossed and emanating traces of ghostly shadows swirling around the banner.

"The Warlord Banner—"

The Warlord’s servant in the distance, the man clutching a staff, was the first to cry out in excitement, rushing over from afar.

Su Yu was equally shaken. The "Warlord Banner", which had appeared once before in the starry universe and saved him, had descended once again.

It was this "Warlord Banner", striking down from the void above, that had rendered the Spear of Orthodoxy powerless and caused it to plummet to the ground.

Unexpectedly, the God of the Rules in the void, upon seeing the "Warlord Banner", gaped as if he had seen a ghost, becoming somewhat stuttered, "War... Warlord... Banner..."

Recalling the recent ordeal, Su Yu was covered in a cold sweat. If not for the "Warlord Banner" suddenly descending and shattering the attack of the "Spear of Orthodoxy", he didn’t dare to imagine the consequences of being struck by it.

"Warlord... my lord... have You returned? My lord—"

The servant of the Warlord, the man holding the staff, cried out in a frenzy, calling repeatedly, yet the silent space around him offered no sign of a "Warlord", aside from the floating "Warlord Banner".

The servant continued crying out, to no avail, as his echo was the only response. The Warlord Banner hovered in place, fixed in the void, only making a "rustling" sound when the wind blew the flag fabric.

The God of the Rules gazed at the "Warlord Banner", seemingly agitated, and suddenly knelt on one knee, bowing down to the "Warlord Banner".

His actions and demeanor were utterly sincere.

"What’s going on?" Ada and the others exchanged puzzled looks from afar, finding it strange. It wasn’t so odd that the God of the Rules recognized the "Warlord Banner", but rather his incredibly reverent attitude towards it.

"Since they are the ones ’You’, the Warlord, wish to protect, I shall of course obey..."

The God of the Rules’s voice was very deep, and as he finished those words, the "Warlord Banner" that had been motionless in midair, began to flutter slowly, eventually planting itself before the Warlord Statue, standing quietly there. Occasionally, the fabric would flutter with the wind, as if searching for something in front of the Warlord Statue.

The Warlord’s servant, the man holding the staff, gaped, seemingly coming to a sudden realization.

The appearance of the "Warlord Banner" seemed to have completely disrupted the original intentions of the God of the Rules, who was once filled with rage, wanting to extinguish all the lives before him, but now his emotions had dampened, the golden flame within his skull flickering uncertainly.

"The Warlord... I never thought I would see the Warlord Banner again. Following behind this banner once... those were glorious days..."

The God of the Rules muttered to himself, and the servant below suddenly screamed, "You knew my master? You knew the Warlord Ancestor?"
