Chapter 1243: Chapter 927: Crisis Descends

Seven terrifying auras flooded into this independent world opened by the Master of Rules, Su Yu was the first one to sense something and looked up. In the void above the white glow, seven figures in uniform white robes had appeared.

Su Yu lightly hummed in acknowledgment, sensing they were being tracked as Ada on his shoulder snorted, "It seems we’ve been followed."

Lei Leian, Qin Jiagui, Qing Huang, Zhang Zhongmou, and the others also realized what was happening.

With a fierce shout, Qing Huang warned, "Enemies are approaching, everyone be careful." Over the years, she had practiced diligently, reaching the peak of Divine Level, and was on the verge of stepping into the Totem Level. Regrettably, she had been hiding here all along, but now, seeing the arrival of the seven white-robed figures, Qing Huang felt not panic, but excitement.

She finally had the opportunity to test her skills.

Seeing Qing Huang’s excited appearance, Su Yu shook his head secretly. Not to mention that Qing Huang was not yet at the Totem Level, even if she were the strongest Seventh Level Totem, she would still be no match for these white-robed figures.

"That girl has never roamed the starry universe; she doesn’t know how vast the outside world is..." Su Yu pondered silently, discreetly unleashing his power to covertly protect everyone around him, in case the seven white-robed figures in the sky suddenly attacked and harmed them.

"Come out, Beth Finley, we don’t intend to harm the innocent, and those unrelated can leave this place," declared one of the blond white-robed women in a clear voice, her tone condescending, from high above.

"It’s better if I come out," said Beth Finley from within Lei Leian. Lei Leian nodded slightly with a light hum, closed her beautiful eyes, and when those beautiful eyes opened again, they shone with an extremely sharp gaze. Her body glowed with a white light that swiftly transformed into a ten-meter-tall magnified version of Lei Leian.

The Master of Rules, Beth Finley, had once again descended.

"Out of respect for our past connection and formally speaking, you could all be considered my teachers, even though you were merely following ’his’ orders to teach me. Still, I am grateful to you... That’s why, during our last confrontation, I did not wish to engage you in a life-and-death struggle, but... don’t push me too far."

The Master of Rules eyed the seven white-robed figures in the sky, her gaze deep and piercing.

Su Yu led the others to step back slightly, knowing that the Master of Rules was not making empty threats. When she summoned the "Spear of Orthodoxy," she could even wound the terror of the Primordial Beast, the Fiery Demon Bull King. If she chose to use the "Spear of Orthodoxy" against these white-robed figures from the start, they would stand no chance.

"Hmph, thank you for being considerate, Beth Finley, but that’s also where you’re naïve," sneered one of the white-robed middle-aged men. "The last time, we thought you couldn’t harness the power of the ’Spear of Orthodoxy.’ If you had suddenly summoned it, catching us off-guard, we might have lost at least half of our forces. Unfortunately... what a pity..."

He laughed, "You missed that opportunity. Do you think that, knowing you can now use the ’Spear of Orthodoxy,’ we would dare enter this place without a way to counter it?"

The Master of Rules was taken aback, staring intently at the seven people above, her expression growing grave, "You have a way to counter the ’Spear of Orthodoxy’?"

The "Spear of Orthodoxy," the ultimate embodiment of the rules of the universe in legend, even though she could only borrow a fraction of its power, was incredibly formidable. It could easily wound even the Fiery Demon Bull King, so what made these seven white-robed figures think they could withstand the "Spear of Orthodoxy"?

Disbelieving, the Master of Rules, who had created this little world within the comparatively small Flame Sun hidden among the stars with great effort—considered utterly safe—faced the prospect of a battle potentially damaging this space and said coldly, "Since all of you teachers are so confident, let’s take this outside. If you can indeed handle my ’Spear of Orthodoxy,’ Beth Finley will have no choice but to let you decide her fate."

The white-haired man chuckled and shook his head. Surveying the surrounding space, he raised his voice, "Enough talking, Beth Finley. This is your last chance. Surrender the ’Spear of Orthodoxy’ and kneel before us. We can pretend nothing ever happened. Otherwise, today, you and all that is yours will face annihilation."

As he spoke, his palms extended slightly, and the characters for "life" and "death" appeared within them. The rules of life and death were already in motion between his palms.

With their unwillingness to join her in battle outside, the Master of Rules’s face darkened as she said sternly, "Then don’t blame Beth Finley for being heartless—"

She had refrained from lethal force out of a past sentiment, but now she was resolute. With a gesture, instantly, nine Spears of Orthodoxy appeared, and with a series of "whooshing" sounds, they launched toward the seven white-robed figures in the void.

Su Yu sternly called out at the same moment, "Everyone, come out and stand behind me, don’t act recklessly."

Ada also jumped down from Su Yu’s shoulder. Qing Huang looked excited, unaware of the depth of the situation, but Qin Jiagui, Zhang Zhongmou, and the others with Category 5 Lifeforms knew very well the profoundness of these seven individuals in white robes. On seeing them, they promptly instructed their own Master of Companion not to act rashly.

Having originally intended to lend a hand, Qin Jiagui, Zhang Zhongmou, and the others felt a chill in their hearts upon hearing those words. Of course, they knew that their Category 5 Lifeforms would not deceive them.

Nine Spears of Rules suddenly launched into action, instantly bombarding the seven individuals in white robes in the sky. At the same moment, the Master of Rules waved her hands continuously, intending to force these seven out of this space; only in the outside world could she fully unleash her true combat power without any reservations.

The seven individuals in white robes shouted in unison, and the blond woman with a radiant spear in her hand quickly conjured up the "Six Paths of Reincarnation" world again. This realm of reincarnation encompassed the cycle of all life; all who had not escaped its confines or reached the divine realm remained trapped here, unable to escape.

In the last battle, this blond woman had used the "Six Paths of Reincarnation World" to trap the Master of Rules. If Ada hadn’t helped break the "Six Paths of Reincarnation," the Master of Rules would have been in grave danger.

This time, as the Master of Rules charged forward, she was once again swept into the "Six Paths of Reincarnation World."

The Master of Rules sneered, no longer hesitating. She waved her hands again, and the nine Spears of Rules danced through the air. In an instant, they transformed into nine rainbows of light. With her hands forming seals, these nine rainbows converged into one, piercing through the "Six Paths of Reincarnation World."

A spear, faintly translucent and blue, slowly emerged from the rainbow.

The "Spear of Orthodoxy" descended once again. As its edge barely revealed itself, the entire "Six Paths of Reincarnation World" began to shatter and break incessantly, like a gigantic glass mirror breaking upon a powerful impact, with the sharp, crisp sounds of splintering echoing continually.

The blond White-Robed Woman’s complexion slightly changed; once the "Spear of Orthodoxy" appeared, it made all else seem as fragile as paper mache under its orthodox rule.

"Teacher, die—"

The Master of Rules, Beth Finley, no longer held back, and with a mere thought—although she could only utilize an extremely small fraction of her power—that minuscule fraction was enough to effortlessly annihilate these who were once her teachers.

Another white-robed elder with short white whiskers on his mouth suddenly let out a cold laugh, "Beth Finley, want us dead? It’s not that easy—"

Raising his voice suddenly, he stretched out his hands and began chanting an unusual Charm, joined by the other six individuals; the strange chants momentarily caught the Master of Rules off guard, for she had never heard such an odd Charm.

While she stood astonished, the recently revealed "Spear of Orthodoxy" began to buzz, as if it had struck some invisible barrier, causing the entire space to tremble slightly.

"What’s happening?" The Master of Rules exclaimed, her beautiful eyes widening in surprise. Meanwhile, the seven individuals in white robes had gathered together, shouting in unison, "Absolute Shield, awaken—"

As they roared, the entire space abruptly cracked open at the center, as if something from the outside was puncturing through, gradually breaking apart, with terrifying flames of fiery red erupting forth.

Su Yu and Ada exchanged a glance, both sensing that something was terribly wrong.

This space, reinforced by the integration of three Spirit of the Planets, was supposed to be exceptionally solid. Yet, it was being breached by an invisible force from the outside, allowing the fearsome stellar flames from outside to rush into the crack. Instantly, what was once an independent space was now transformed into a world engulfed in scalding flames.

"Everyone, gather here," Su Yu shouted sharply, and with a wave of his hand, a massive energy barrier expanded. Ada let out a long howl, simultaneously sprouting a pair of black wings in an instant, transforming into her strongest Third Form.

This place was situated within the heart of a star, and now that the planet’s core had cracked open, allowing stellar energy to invade, it was no joking matter.

Qing Huang, Qin Jiagui, Zhang Zhongmou, and the others instinctively sensed the crisis and mutated, releasing wave after wave of powerful auras.

"Ada, get them out of here quickly," Su Yu realized that the cracking of this world was becoming more severe. The buzzing sound from the "Spear of Orthodoxy" grew louder, continuously trembling in the void, as if it were stuck in a quagmire and unable to free itself. The Master of Rules wore an expression of utter shock, unable to comprehend what was happening.

Ada grunted affirmatively, and shouted, "Everyone, stand by me," also issuing a fierce command. Immediately, a vast chasm appeared underneath their feet, whisking away Su Yu, Qin Jiagui, Qing Huang, Zhang Zhongmou, Su Yun, Meng Ting, and others from this increasingly scorching world.
